"Tesis ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa produksi daging sapi dalam negeri dan faktor-faktor apa yang mempengaruhinya, untuk kemudian memberikan proyeksi sepuluh tahun kedepan terkait dengan program pemerintah yaitu: Program Swasembada Daging Sapi 2014. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis data time-series dari tahun 1980 sampai dengan tahun 2010. Model ekonomi yang digunakan adalah regresi linear berganda, dengan menerapkan pendekatan metode ordinary least square(OLS) untuk mencapai tujuan dari penelitian ini. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa faktor yang menentukan tingkat produksi daging sapi dalam negeri adalah populasi ternak sapi, jumlah feedloter, dan harga daging sapi itu sendiri. Tingkat elastisitas menunjukkan bahwa produksi daging sapi hanya merespon pada harga daging sapi itu sendiri. Di samping itu proyeksi menunjukkan bahwa swasembada daging sapi pada tahun 2014 tidak dapat dicapai.

The thesis intended to analyze the factors that influence the domestic beef production and project the domestic beef production for the next ten years in relation with the government program for ?the meat self-sufficient on 2014?. This research used the national time series data for 1980 to 2010 period. The econometric model (linear regression) approach through the ordinary least square (OLS) method had been implemented in order to meet the objectives of this research.

The results show that the beef price, population of cows, and the number of feedlot company significantly influence the domestic beef production. The elasticity value shows that the beef production only responds to the change of the beef price itself. Beside that, the projection result shows that the beef self- sufficient program in 2014 may not be reached."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis permintaan impor daging sapi di Indonesia sebelum dan sesudah adanya program swasembada daging sapi baik dalam jangka pendek maupun jangka panjang Penelitian ini menggunakan data time series periode tahun 1974 sampai dengan tahun 2013 dengan menggunakan pendekatan kointegrasi dan Error Correction Model Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam jangka panjang dan jangka pendek program swasembada daging sapi belum mampu mengurangi permintaan impor daging sapi Apabila terjadi perubahan pada variabel variabel yang mempengaruhi permintaan impor daging sapi jangka pendek maka akan membutuhkan waktu selama 3 37 bulan untuk menuju keseimbangan model permintaan impor daging sapi jangka panjang.

This study aims to analyze the demand for beef imports in Indonesia before and after the beef self sufficiency program in both the short and long term This study uses time series data period 1974 to 2013 by using cointegration approach and error correction model The results showed that long term and short term self sufficiency in beef program has been unable to reduce the demand for imported beef If there is a change in the variables that affect the demand for imported beef short term it would take 3 37 months for the balance towards demand model for beef imports in long term"

"The research was on household level in Center Sulawesi and aimed : 1) to analyze factors affecting beef consumption at the household, 2) to determine own price elasticity, cross price elasticity and income elasticity, 3) to forecast the consumption trend of beef for 3 years further.The research used the SUSENAS data of 2002 covered a total respondents of 1.152 households devided on rural and urban areas with low, intermediate, and high income level. Regression analysis on censored data or TOB1T model was used.The result indicated that, income percapita, number of people in the family, education of household headed had positive influence to consumption of beef, eventhough beef price show the negative influence. At the level high income on urban and rural the demand of beef are elastic."
