"In this opportunity will be discussed the application of group technology method at PT. X, that produced heavy equipment by batch production system, either in specially group technology application on the production department and administration system that support the existing production process.
By the group technology method application, so will be produced simplification of material flow system on the production department and at least will rise in efficiency and company's productivity have been achieved by this time and will minimize the existing production cost.
Increasing in efficiency and productivity and its lowest cost needed to produce the existing product, became to increase the company's ability in competition with the same products produced by the other companies.

Pada kesempatan ini akan dibahas mengenai penerapan metode Group Technology (GT) di PT. X yang menghasilkan produk-produk alat berat dengan sistem batch production, khususnya penerapan group technology pada bagian produksi serta sistem administrasi yang akan menunjang proses produksi yang ada.
Dengan penerapan metode group technology maka akan dihasilkan suatu penyederhanaan sistem aliran material ( material flow system) pada bagian produksi yang pada akhirnya akan meningkatka effisiensi dan produktifitas perusahaan yang telah dicapai sampai dengan saat ini serta akan menekan biaya produksi yang ada.
Peningkatan effisiensi dan produktifitas serta rendahnya biaya yang diperlukan untuk menghasilkan produk-produk yang ada, akan menjadikan perusahaan semakin mampu bersaing terhadap produk-produk sejenis yang dihasilkan oleh perusahaan manufaktur yang lain."
