"Infeksi Saluran Pernafasan Akut atau ISPA mengakibatkan sekitar 4 juta kematian balita di negara berkembang. Di Indonesia ISPA bawwb, khususnya pneumonia mengakibatkan kematian sekitar 150.000 balita per tahun. Namun sesuai dengan hasil penelitian di Indramayu pula bahwa upaya penurunan mortalitas karena ISPA khususnya pneumonia dapat dicapai sebesar 25% jika program memberi masukan secara memadai kepada ibu. Yang dimaksud dengan memberi masukan kepada ibu adalah melakukan komunikasi dan pemberian informasi dengan ibu sebagai sasaran.
Dalam Program Pemberantasan Penyakit (P2) ISPA untuk penanggulangan pneumonia balita, bentuk komunikasi antar pribadi merupakan bagian yang tidak terpisahkan dari penatalaksanaan kasus ISPA yang tepat dan benar. Efektifitas tatalaksana kasus ISPA sangat ditentukan oleh dilaksanakannya pesan yang disampaikan oleh petugas kesehatan kepada ibu secara tepat dan benar. Agar ibu dapat melaksanakan pengobatan dan perawatan penunjang di rumah secara benar, maka petugas kesehatan harus mampu berkomunikasi secara efektif.
Untuk itu perlu kiranya dilihat sejauh mana kemampuan petugas kesehatan dalam melakukan komunikasi sebagai bagian dari pelaksanaan tugas tenaga kesehatan di Puskesmas yang merupakan ujung tombak pelayanan kesehatan di Indonesia. Penelitian ini akan melihat sejauh mana kemampuan petugas poliklinik puskesmas dalam komunikasi dengan ibu balita yang menderita ISPA yang datang ke Puskesmas, serta melakukan telaah faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan kemampuan komunikasi petugas kesehatan khususnya kepada ibu balita yang menderita ISPA.
Jenis desain penelitian ini adalah Cross Sectional. Populasi penelitian sekaligus merupakan sampel penelitian adalah petugas poliklinik puskesmas yang berada di seluruh Kabupaten Bogor yang berjumlah 202 petugas.
Data dikumpulkan dengan cara observasi petugas pada waktu melakukan pelayanan kepada pasien balita ISPA dan wawancara dengan petugas tersebut, kemudian dianalisa menggunakan piranti lunak program EPI INFO versi 6.0 dan program STATA versi 3.1.
Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan proporsi petugas poliklinik puskesmas di kabupaten Bogor yang mampu berkomunikasi dengan ibu balita ISPA sebesar 41,1% petugas. Hasil analisis bivariat menunjukkan tidak adanya hubungan yang bermakna antara variabel umur, lama masa kerja, asal daerah, penguasaan bahasa, sikap terhadap pesan, variabel pendidikan, pelatihan, pengetahuan komunikasi, membaca pedoman, ketersediaan pedoman dan ketersediaan media komunikasi dengan kemampuan komunikasi petugas poliklinik puskesmas di kabupaten Bogor. Hasil akhir penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel pengetahuan ISPA dan supervisi berperan atau berhubungan erat terhadap kemampuan komunikasi petugas dengan ibu balita ISPA, sehingga hasil ini dapat menjadi pertimbangan dalam membuat kebijaksaan dalam upaya meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi petugas.

Factors Related to Communication Skills of Health Workers Providing Health Services For Mothers of Young Children with Acute Respiratory Infections (ARI) In Bogor District, West Java, year 2000The Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI) disease has caused 4 million deaths of under-fives in developing countries. In Indonesia, as one of developing countries, 150.000 children under-fives die due to pneumonia annually.
Based on a study conducted in Indramayu district, West Java, deaths caused by pneumonia can be reduced to 25% if mothers of the sick child are given appropriate and adequate information about the disease. A good communication needs to be conducted between health personnel and mother of young children whereas the mother is treated as the target of the communication.
In the ARI Control Program, inter-personal communication between health personnel and mothers is an essential part that can not be separated from the implementation of ARI Case Management. The successful way in doing this thing lies when the health personnel can give appropriate and correct information on how to give drugs and home care treatment to mothers effectively so that mothers understand and are able to practice at home.
It is thus necessary to find out how far the health personnel, as the first line of health provider in community, can perform their communication skills which is part of their main responsibilities at health center.
This research is meant to find out skills of health personnel working at the policlinic of Health Center (HC) in communicating with mothers of the sick child with ARI also factors related to skills of health personal in communicating with the mothers.
The study was done in cross-sectional design. The populations studied, which were also a research sample, were those working at the policlinic HC in Bogor district amounting to 202 personnel.
Data were collected by interviewing and observing the health personnel in giving the services to the patient, and then analyzed using EPI INFO software program version 6.0 and STATA program version 3.1.
The result shows that only 41.1% of HC personnel have good communication skills to communicate with mothers of sick young children with ART. The Bivariat analysis there is no significant correlation of age, duration of work, district of origin, language capability, behavior of message, education, training, communication knowledge, guidelines reading, provision of guidelines and communication media with the capabilities or communication skill of health personnel at the HC policlinic in Bogor district.
The final result shows that variable of ART knowledge and supervision have role and close relationship to the communication skills of health personnel. It is hope this result would be a consideration in making future policies to improve health personnel communication skills."

"[ABSTRAK
Komunikasi adalah faktor penting dalam keberhasilan implementasi
kebijakan dan program pemerintah. Untuk itu peneliti akan menganalisis
formulasi kebijakan komunikasi dalam mendukung pelaksanaan program
pembangunan kesehatan di Indonesia. Beberapa temuan dari riset nasional seperti
Survei Demografi Kesehatan Indonesia (SDKI) tahun 2012, dan Riset Kesehatan
Dasar 2013, diperkuat dengan sejumlah penelitian lainnya serta pemberitaan di
media yang menunjukkan bahwa masih terdapat kebijakan dan program kesehatan
yang belum berhasil mencapai target yang antara lain disebabkan tidak
berjalannya fungsi komunikasi secara optimal sehingga masyarakat belum bisa
memahami dan mendukung kebijakan dan program kesehatan pemerintah.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi kualitatif dengan jenis deskriptif,
pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, focus group
discussion (FGD) dan telaah dokumen. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan fakta
bahwa fungsi komunikasi yang dijalankan unit hubungan masyarakat di
Kementerian Kesehatan belum berjalan optimal oleh karena belum adanya
pedoman yang mengatur fungsi komunikasi secara terintegrasi dan komprehensif
dalam hal kelembagaan, kegiatan, tata laksana kerja dan sumber daya. Peneliti
menyarankan kepada sejumlah pihak terkait terutama Pusat Komunikasi Publik
Kementerian Kesehatan agar segera menyusun pedoman komunikasi atau
kehumasan yang dapat mengatur seluruh aspek komunikasi yang diperlukan
dalam meningkatkan pelaksanaan tugas dan fungsi selaku hubungan masyarakat,
selain itu juga memperkuat sumber daya agar lebih memadai. Peneliti juga
merekomendasikan kepada Kementerian Komunikasi dan Informatika dan
Kementerian PAN dan Reformasi Birokrasi agar menyiapkan berbagai upaya
untuk memperkuat posisi dan peranan hubungan masyarakat dalam pembangunan
nasional.

especially to the Center for Public Communication of the Ministry of Health to
immediately formulate guidelines for communications or public relations to
regulate all aspects of communication required in advancing the implementation
of tasks and functions as public relations, and also strengthens the resources to be
more adequate. Researchers also recommend to the Ministry of Communications
and Informatics and the Ministry of Empowerment of State Apparaturs and
bureaucracy reform to prepare a variety of efforts to strengthen the position and

Konsep muka, cara kerja muka, dan model kesantunan dalam komunikasi dokter-pasien adalah berdasarkan pendekatan
English for Academic Purposes: medical yang terkait dengan arti muka sebagai konstruk sosial. Penelitian ini menginvestigasi sapaan dalam bentuk kata ganti orang kedua yang berdasarkan sistem kekerabatan dalam bentuk sapaan untuk menunjukkan rasa hormat dan disukai oleh pasien di Indonesia. Terdapat dua puluh enam (26) pasien
rawat-jalan pria dan empat puluh (40) pasien rawat-jalan wan
ita. Data dari kuesioner terdiri dari jenis kelamin, umur, pendidikan, status pernikahan dan bentuk sapaan dalam bentuk kata ganti orang kedua yang disukai pasien rawat-jalan. Data tersebut dianalisa menggunakan ?model interaksi?. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan akan pentingnya penggunaan bentuk sapaan dalam bentuk kata ganti orang kedua berdasarkan sistem kekerabatan untuk menunjukkan rasa hormat.Kata ganti orang kedua yang disukai oleh pasien rawat jalan adalah sebagai berikut: Bapak, Mas, Dik, Ibu, Mbak, dan
Adek. Bagi pasien rawat jalan wanita, mereka lebih menyukai
bila dipanggil Ibu daripada Mbak bila sudah menikah. Di
lain pihak, pasien rawat pria memilih Bapak, untuk yang sudah menikah, daripada Mas. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa pilihan yang disukai pasien untuk bentuk kata sapaan yang berdasarkan kesantunan bukan hanya perbedaan umur namun adanya perbedaan status pernikahan. Hasil ini berbeda dengan penelitian sebelumnya yang hanya menyatakan faktor umur saja yang menentukan penggunaan kata ganti orang kedua untuk menunjukkan rasa hormat.

Abstract
The concept of face, face work and politeness model in the doctor-patient communication which is based on English for Academic Purposes: medical relied on the face as a social construct. This study investigates greeting in the form of second person pronoun based on the kinship system in terms of address to show respect as preferred by patients in Indonesia. There were twenty-six (26)
male out-patients and forty (40) female patients. Data from the questionnaire consist of patients? gender, age, education, marital status and preferred second person pronoun in terms of address. They
were analyzed using the ?interaction mode
l?. The research showed on the importance of the use of greetings in the form of second person pronoun based on kinship system to show respect preferred as follows: Father/Bapak, ElderBrother/Mas, Younger Brother/Dik, Mother/Ibu,Elder Sister/Mbak,and Younger Sister/
Adek. The married female patients prefer Mother/
Ibu rather than Older Sister/ Mbak and the married male patients prefer Father/ Bapak rather than Older Brother/Mas. Thus, the patients? choices on terms of address were based not only on age but marital status. These findings were different from the previous research as it was based on age to show respect. "

"ABSTRAK
Komunikasi terapeutik perawat anak dan tingkat kepuasan keluarga merupakan
variabel yang menjadi fokus dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk
mengidentifikasi hubungan komunikasi terapeutik perawat anak dan tingkat
kepuasan keluarga yang anaknya menjalani hospitalisasi di RSUD Provinsi Al
Ihsan Jawa Barat. Desain penelitian ini Cross-Sectional. Kelompok sampel dibagi
menjadi dua kelompok, yaitu perawat anak dan keluarga, dengan jumlah 23 orang
pada tiap kelompoknya. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa terdapat hubungan
yang bermakna antara komunikasi terapeutik perawat anak dengan tingkat
kepuasan keluarga (p=0,0005). Rekomendasi penelitian ini, komunikasi terapeutik
disadari perawat anak sebagai suatu metoda dalam peningkatan kepuasan klien
anak dan keluarga.

ABSTRACT
The focus in this study was on the pediatric nurse`s communication and the
family`s level of satisfaction. This study aimed to identify the relationship
between the pediatric nurse?s therapeutic communication and the level of
satisfaction of the family with hospitalized child in Al Ihsan Hospital, West Java.
In this cross-sectional study, the sample was divided into two groups consisting
23 participants each. The result found a significant relationship between the
pediatric nurse?s therapeutic communication and the family?s level of satisfaction
(p=0,0005). This study recommends the nurses to increase the awareness of
applying therapeutic communication to increase the level of satisfaction of the
family and the patient."

"Tenaga kesehatan yang bertugas di IGD memiliki tugas siaga selama 24 jam untuk menangani pasien yang jumlah dan tingkat keparahannya tidak dapat diprediksi. Dalam interaksi antara tenaga kesehatan dan pasien di IGD harus ada kesepakatan setiap langkah tata laksana penyakit. Kesepakatan tersebut dibangun dari saling berkomunikasi. Melalui komunikasi antara tenaga kesehatan dan pasien dengan berbagai latar belakang, maka diperlukan keterampilan komunikasi yang baik untuk mengatasi salah tafsir. IGD terdapat tiga kategori derajat keparahan penyakit pasien,  yaitu triase merah, triase kuning, dan triase hijau. Tekanan kepada tenaga kesehatan paling banyak berasal dari kategori triase merah, disusul dengan triase kuning dan kemudian triase hijau. Penilaian pasien dilakukan dengan cepat dan segera untuk mengetahui tingkat kegawatan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus dan menggunakan Model Komunikasi Antarpribadi Joseph A DeVito. Informan pada penelitian ini ada 11 informan, pengambilan data dengan wawancara mendalam menggunakan pedoman wawancara dan observasi non partisipatif. Penentuan informan mengacu pada prinsip kesesuaian (appropriateness) dan kecukupan (adequacy) yang kemudian dilakukan analisis data dengan analisis konten. Hasil yang didapatkan yaitu tidak ada perbedaan pola komunikasi pada triase merah setiap shift. Terdapat perbedaan pola komunikasi triase kuning shift pagi dengan shift sore. Kemudian, tidak terdapat perbedaan pola komunikasi pada triase hijau shift pagi dengan shift malam. Informan mengakui bahwa derajat keparahan penyakit membuat adanya perbedaan dalam berkomunikasi. Peneliti menemukan bahwa perbedaan pola komunikasi selain dari tingkat keparahan penyakit juga dipengaruhi oleh tingkat pendidikan pasien.

Health workers on duty at the emergency room have a 24-hour standby duty to treat patients whose number and severity cannot be predicted. In the interaction of health workers and patients in the emergency room, there must be agreement on every step of disease management. The agreement was built from communicating with each other. Through communication between health workers and patients with various backgrounds, good communication skills are needed to overcome misinterpretation. In the Emergency Room, there are three categories of patient severity, namely red triage, yellow triage, and green triage. Most of the pressure on health workers comes from the red triage category, followed by the yellow triage and then the green triage. Patient assessment is carried out quickly and immediately to determine the level of emergency. This research is a qualitative research with a case study approach and uses Joseph A DeVito's Interpersonal Communication Model. Informants in this study there were 11 informants, data collection by in-depth interviews using interview guidelines and non-participatory observation. The determination of informants refers to the principles of appropriateness and adequacy, which are then analyzed by means of content analysis. The results obtained are, there is no difference in communication patterns in the red triage for each shift. There are differences in the yellow triage communication pattern for the morning shift and the afternoon shift. Then, there are no differences in communication patterns in the green triage of the morning shift and the night shift. Informants acknowledged that the degree of severity of the disease made a difference in communicating. Researchers found that differences in communication patterns apart from the severity of the disease were also influenced by the patient's education level."

"Studi ini memfokuskan pada komunikasi dokter pasien dalam proses pengobatan dan penyembuhan pasien. Dugaan malpraktek yang kerap muncul akhir-akhir ini mengisyaratkan akan semakin kritisnya masyarakat kita dalam memandang masalah kesehatan.
Komunikasi yang diperlukan disetiap aspek kehidupan, mulai diperhatikan oleh para ahli medis, dan dianggap sebagai salah satu cara menyembuhkan pasien dari sisi psikologis. Jarak yang terbentang antara dokter dengan pasien dulunya dikarenakan penguasaan ilmu yang tidak seimbang kini akan diperdekat dengan cara berkomunikasi dan menjalin hubungan baik. Penelitian ini ingin menjawab beberapa pertanyaan, anlara lain yaitu tentang bagaimana komunikasi dokter pasien yang terjadi?, bagaimana komunikasi yang diinginkan dokter dan pasien?, bagaimana komunikasi menjadi faktor yang membantu proses penyembuhan pasien, bagaimana komunikasi menjadi faktor yang membantu menghindari dugaan malpraktek. Pola hubungan dilihat dengan menggunakan teori penetrasi sosial, sedangkan kemampuan berkomunikasi dapat dilihat dengan ketrampilan mengirimkan informasi kepada pasien (Informed Consent).
Penelitian ini dilakukan di 2 bagian Penyakit Dalam yaitu bagian Geriatri dan bagian Alergi Imunologi. Pihak yang menjadi nara sumber adalah para dokter dan pasien yang terlibat di bagian tersebut. Diambil masing-masing satu kasus namun dengan hasil yang dianalisa secara holistik. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara dan observasi. Dari penelitian dapat dilihat bahwa para dokter maupun pasien sadar bahwa komunikasi merupakan hal yang penting dalam proses penyembuhan pasien, dan dapat menjadi salah satu cara untuk menghindari isu dugaan malpraktek.
Kesimpulan yang dapat diambil dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa, dokter dan pasien di Indonesia perlu membina dan mengembangkan hubungan yang baik dengan mensosialisaslkan komunikasi dikalangan kedokteran maupun pasien. Dokter harus mengerti kewajiban dan haknya begitu juga dengan pasien. Dokter yang dinilai memiliki kemampuan yang baik adalah selain mampu mengobati pasien dengan baik, juga mengembangkan kemampuan komunikasinya."

"ABSTRAK
Kejadian tidak diharapkan terjadi di rumah sakit 65 % adalah komunikasi. Upaya meningkatkan keselamatan pasien perlu dilakukan petugas kesehatan terutama melalui komunikasi. Komunikasi Situation, Background, Assesment, dan Recommendation (SBAR) merupakan komunikasi yang telah terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan keselamatan pasien. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi pengaruh pelatihan komunikasi SBAR terhadap pengetahuan dan kepatuhan perawat pelaksana dalam melakukan komunikasi SBAR.
Desain penelitian pretest-posttest without control group dilakukan pada 50 perawat ruang intensif yang dilatih dan diobservasi. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan terhadap komunikasi SBAR setelah dilakukan pelatihan komunikasi SBAR (pvalue 0.000). Komitmen komunikasi dengan SBAR harus disepakati oleh semua petugas kesehatan yang ada melalui kebijakan dan prosedur.

65 % of adverse event in the hospital is communication. The efforts to improve patient safety, especially health care workers need to be done through communication. Situation, Background, Assessment and Recommendation (SBAR) communication program is effective to improve patient safety. This study is aimed to identify the effect of SBAR communication training to Nursing Staff’s knowledge and obedience. Pretest and post test study de Commitment to the SBAR communication must be agreed upon by all the existing health workers through policies and procedures. "Penelitian ini merupakan riset terapan yang bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi program komunikasi kesehatan. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengevaluasi strategi program komunikasi kesehatan dan proses pembentukan pesan edukasi kesehatan mengenai vaksin COVID-19 yang dilakukan oleh Bio Farma di TikTok. Strategi program komunikasi kesehatan yang mereka lakukan dievaluasi menggunakan Strategi Program Komunikasi Kesehatan di Media Sosial. Sementara itu, pembentukan pesan yang dilakukan oleh Bio Farma dievaluasi menggunakan Persuasive Health Message Framework (Witte, 1994). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dengan metode campuran, menggunakan analisis isi dan wawancara sebagai metode pengumpulan data. Data penelitian berupa hasil analisis isi terhadap postingan TikTok yang berisi pesan edukasi kesehatan mengenai vaksin COVID-19 di akun resmi Bio Farma dan wawancara terhadap narasumber yang berasal dari Bio Farma. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penentuan tujuan keseluruhan, identifikasi audiens, pengembangan strategi, penentuan pesan kunci, dan pengembangan peta pesan yang dilakukan Bio Farma dalam program komunikasi kesehatannya mengenai vaksin COVID-19 di TikTok sudah cukup baik. Namun, Bio Farma masih memerlukan perbaikan dan peningkatan dalam melakukan analisis situasi, penentuan tujuan spesifik yang terukur berdasarkan SMART (Specific, Measurable, Appropriate, Realistic, dan Time Bound), penyesuaian jenis konten dan cara penyampaian pesan dalam konten, pengalokasian sumber daya manusia yang memadai, dan pelaksanaan evaluasi program. Bio Farma juga sudah melakukan pengembangan pesan dengan cukup baik dengan mempertimbangkan komponen konstan dan sementara dalam Persuasive Health Message Framework.

This research is an applied research aiming to evaluate a health communication program. The goal of this research is to evaluate the strategy and the process of message development in the health communication program about COVID-19 vaccine done by Bio Farma on TikTok. Strategy of Health Communication in Social Media is used to evaluate the strategy of Bio Farma’s health communication about COVID-19. Meanwhile, Persuasive Health Message Framework (Witte, 1994) is used to evaluate the process of their message development. This research uses mixed method, with content analysis and interview to collect the research data. The research data includes the result of the content analysis of Bio Farma’s video contents about COVID-19 vaccine education on TikTok and interview with 3 informants from Bio Farma. The result of this research shows that overall goal, audience identification, strategy development, key message building, and message map development has been done well by Bio Farma. However, Bio Farma still needs to improve in their situation analysis, deciding specific goal using SMART, content adjustment & message delivery, human resource allocation, and program evaluation. Bio Farma also has done the process of message development quite well, involving every constant and transient component in Persuasive Health Message Framework."
