"With more than 1,000 high-quality radiographs and illustrations, Oral Radiology: Principles and Interpretation, 7th Edition visually demonstrates the basic principles of oral and maxillofacial radiology along with their clinical application. First, you'll gain a solid foundation in radiation physics, radiation biology, and radiation safety and protection. Then you'll learn intraoral and extraoral imaging techniques, including specialized techniques such as MRI and CT. The second half of the book focuses on how to recognize the radiographic features of pathologic conditions and interpret radiographs accurately. This edition also includes new chapters on forensics and cone-beam imaging. Written by oral radiology experts Stuart White and Michael Pharoah, this book helps you provide state-of-the-art care! New to this edition: NEW chapter on cone-beam imaging keeps you current with emerging field requirements. NEW coverage of cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) includes more of the normal anatomy of cross-sectional images of the maxilla and mandible along with variations of normal anatomy.

Background: ECC handling in Indonesia not yet gave the good of the result. Saliva is the one of the place that consist a bacteria. Oral Veillonella is the bacteria that corelate with caries.
Aim: Analyzing the existence and comparison of Oral Veillonella quantity in children’s saliva aged 3-5 with high and low caries risk category.
Method: Oral Veillonella quantity from the saliva sample quantified using Real-Time PCR.
Result: There is a main differences between Oral Veillonella quantity in children’s saliva aged 3-5 whom had a high and low caries risk category.
Conclusion: Quantity of Oral Veillonella in children's saliva aged 3-5 whom had high caries risk is higher than low caries risk category

Metode: Penelitian ini mengikuti pedoman Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA).

Background: Oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) is the most common type of malignant neoplasm of the oral cavity. It is multifactorial but the main risk factors for cancer development is lifestyle habit, and bacterial involvement is currently on the rise to be studied. Veillonella bacteria is a part of commensal oral microbiota of the healthy patient act as the early and bridging colonizer. It plays role in the adhesion of Streptococcus mutans and Porphyromonas gingivalis, as one of the bacteria that have association with oral cancer. Although their role in bridging colonizer is widely known yet Veillonella still lack of studies about its involvement in OSCC. Aim: To review the relationship of the Veillonella prevalence and its role to OSCC development. Methods: The research is following the guideline of Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA). Data collection of the research is adapted to several electronic databases: PubMed and SCOPUS, with the selected keywords and inclusion criteria which consist of journals using English language, full text available, within 10 years and must be research or original article. Result: A review of nine journals reveals an inverse correlation between Veillonella abundance and oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) progression. Veillonella is predominantly present in healthy individuals, exhibiting increased presence during the pre-malignant stage and diminishing with progressively advanced OSCC. Conclusion: As majority of the literature stated that Veillonella was inversely corresponding with the progression of OSCC. This suggests a potential role for Veillonella in early OSCC detection and warrants further investigation."
