"Manufaktur aditif, melalui perkembangan dan penyebarannya, telah memungkinkan kebebasan yang lebih besar dalam hal desain komponen dan kemudahan untuk menguji desain tersebut. Elemen umum yang digunakan dalam desain untuk manufaktur aditif adalah mengubah geometri padat menjadi bentuk berongga dengan struktur lattice internal untuk mempertahankan kekakuan dan kekuatan bentuk awal. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sebuah metode optimalisasi struktur lattice pada komponen yang dikenai beban, dengan tujuan meminimalisasi volume material yang digunakan serta stres yang dialami oleh komponen tersebut. FEA digunakan untuk menentukan kepadatan dari lattice pada area tertentu, menambahkan material ke area yang mengalami stres tinggi dan menguranginya pada area yang mengalami stres rendah. Kerangka ini diuji pada batang yang mengalami beban lentur. Perbandingan kemudian dilakukan dengan struktur lattice berbentuk seragam.

Additive manufacturing has, through its development and proliferation, allowed for greater degrees of freedom when it comes to the design of components and ease at which to test said designs. A common element used in designing for additive manufacturing is turning a solid geometry into one that is hollow with an internal lattice structure to maintain stiffness and strength. This study aims to develop a method of optimizing the lattice structure of a component under load, aiming to minimize both volume of material used as well as stress experienced by the component. FEA is used to determine the relative density of the lattice at a given area, adding material to areas of high stress and removing it in areas of low stress. This framework is tested on a beam that is experiencing a bending load. A comparison is then made to a lattice structure of uniform shape."

"ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini membahas mengenai perhitungan karakteristik dinamik pesawat N-245 matra lateral direktional, yang masih dalam tahap perancangan, guna menentukan sikap pesawat udara dalam beberapa kondisi terbang. Perhitungan ini dilakukan dengan tujuan akhir untuk memperkirakan apakah pesawat stabil dalam berbagai kondisi terbang dan juga akan dibandingakan dengan data hasil uji terowongan angin yang akan dilakukan di kemudian hari. Nilai-nilai turunan kestabilan dinamik yang dicari pada penelitian ini antara lain adalah nilai Cyp, Clp, Cnp, Cyr, Clr, Cnr, CydA, CndA, CldA, Cydr, Cndr, Cldr. Nilai-nilai turunan kestabilan dinamik tersebut dicari menggunakan perangkat lunak software Vortex Lattice Aerodynamics VLAERO dan menggunakan data dari pesawat N-230 sebagai pesawat pembandingnya. Vv hasil rekomendasi berdasarkan perhitungan memiliki nilai 0.21 lebih besar dari pada Vv pesawat pembandingnya.

ABSTRACT
This research will discuss about dynamic stability derivative estimation of N 245 aircraft so that we can know how the aircraft behave in various possible flight conditions. The goal of this estimation is to define whether the aircraft is stable or not in various possible flight conditions, and the data will be compared with the data that the company get from testing N 245 in the wind tunnel in the future days. The variables of aircraft dynamic stability derivative calculated in this research are Cyp, Clp, Cnp, Cyr, Clr, Cnr, CydA, CndA, CldA, Cydr, Cndr, Cldr. The variables of aircraft dynamic stability derivative calculated with the help of software named Vortex Lattice Aerodynamics VLAERO , and using N 235 configuration as a comparable units. Recomended Vv that just been calculated on this paper have more 0.21 more value than the comparable Vv from N 235."

"This book introduces readers to the lattice Boltzmann method (LBM) for solving transport phenomena-flow, heat and mass transfer-in a systematic way. Providing explanatory computer codes throughout the book, the author guides readers through many practical examples, such as:
- flow in isothermal and non-isothermal lid-driven cavities;
- flow over obstacles;
- forced flow through a heated channel;
- conjugate forced convection; and
- natural convection.
Diffusion and advection-diffusion equations are discussed, together with applications and examples, and complete computer codes accompany the sections on single and multi-relaxation-time methods. The codes are written in MatLab. However, the codes are written in a way that can be easily converted to other languages, such as FORTRANm Python, Julia, etc. The codes can also be extended with little effort to multi-phase and multi-physics, provided the physics of the respective problem are known."

"Di thesis ini kami menyelidiki mekanisme confinement dari quark, melalui teori lattice dengan medan gauge murni. Secara khusus, kami menjalankan simulasi pada sistem medan gauge SU(2) murni, dimana sifat non-Abeliannya diyakini dapat merepresentasikan kondisi dalam mekanisme confinement. Kami mempelajari perilaku dari energi bebas quark, sebagai fungsi dari temperatur, dan mengharapkan adanya temperatur kritis dimana keadaan confinement berubah menjadi keadaan deconnement. Maka energi bebas ini digunakan sebagai orderparameter untuk transisi fase confinement-deconfinement.
Di awal kami memberikan ringkasan singkat mengenai teori lattice medan gauge, dan algoritma numerik yang dibutuhkan untuk menjalankan simulasi Monte-Carlo. Berikutnya kami memperkenalkan Polyakov loop, sebagai besaran lattice yang dari besaran ini kita dapat mengekstrak energi bebas quark. Sehingga, kami menggunakan Polyakov loop ini sebagai order parameter dalam lattice dalam mempelajari transisi fase. Sebelum menjalankan simulasi, kami memeberi panjelasan mengenai bagaimana membangun lattice untuk sistem dengan temperatur tertentu. Dan akhirnya kami tampilkan hasil simulasi Monte Carlo, yang memberikan kesimpulan bahwa sistem medan gauge SU(2) murni memiliki temperatur kritis dimana deconfinement muncul.

In this thesis we are investigating the mechanism of quark confinement by means of pure lattice gauge theory. In particular, we conduct the simulation in pure SU(2) gauge system, where its non-Abelian properties believed to give a representative insight of the confinement mechanism. We studied the behaviour of quark free energy as a function of temperature, and expecting a critical temperature where confinement state will turn into deconfinement state. Thus the free energy is taken to be the order parameter for confinement-deconfinement phase transition.
At the beginning we give a short review of lattice gauge field theory, and of the numerical algorithms needed for our Monte Carlo simulations. Afterwards we introduce Polyakov loop as the lattice observable where we can extract the physical free energy. Hence, we are using Polyakov loop as the order parameter on the lattice to investigate the phase transition. Before running the simulation, we give the explanation on constructing a finite temperature physics on the lattice. At the end, we present the result of our Monte Carlo result, which give the conclusion that for pure SU(2) gauge theory, there exist a critical finite temperature where deconfinement occur.

"Tamari lattices originated from weakenings or reinterpretations of the familar associativity law. This has been the subject of Dov Tamari's thesis at the Sorbonne in Paris in 1951 and the central theme of his subsequent mathematical work. Tamari lattices can be realized in terms of polytopes called associahedra, which in fact also appeared first in Tamari's thesis.
