"One of the best known fast computational algorithms is the fast Fourier transform method. Its efficiency is based mainly on the special structure of the discrete Fourier transform matrix. Recently, many other algorithms of this type were discovered, and the theory of structured matrices emerged.
This volume contains 22 survey and research papers devoted to a variety of theoretical and practical aspects of the design of fast algorithms for structured matrices and related issues. Included are several papers containing various affirmative and negative results in this direction. The theory of rational interpolation is one of the excellent sources providing intuition and methods to design fast algorithms. The volume contains several computational and theoretical papers on the topic. There are several papers on new applications of structured matrices, e.g., to the design of fast decoding algorithms, computing state-space realizations, relations to Lie algebras, unconstrained optimization, solving matrix equations, etc."

"Fast Moving Consumer Goods FMCG merupakan industri ritel yang membutuhkan rantai suplai dengan kemampuan traceability untuk memudahkan konsumennya mengetahui informasi dan menjaga sekuritas dengan menambahkan sistem identifikasi. Sistem identifikasi lokasi objek secara aktual dapat dilakukan oleh beberapa teknologi diantaranya yaitu RFID. Saat ini pendeteksian banyak dilakukan oleh RFID karena cocok untuk dipakai pada sistem yang berjalan secara otomatis. Namun RFID memiliki beberapa kekurangan seperti kebutuhan khusus untuk pembacaan jarak jauh, efektifitas yang rendah pada beberapa orang yang tidak paham, dan kebutuhan perbaikan yang sulit. Dibutuhkan sebuah metode yang dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif RFID. Salah satu diantaranya yaitu sensor GPS pada smartphone. GPS pada smartphone dapat dimanfaatkan dengan membuat aplikasi untuk smartphone berbasis android. Aplikasi dikembangkan dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrogramman Java. Aplikasi juga dilengkapi dengan metode geofencing untuk menambah fitur dalam memberikan notifikasi dan data lokasi. Geofence yang digunakan dapat dijadikan sebagai sistem untuk mengaktivasi program agar dapat mengirim data berupa koordinat latitude dan longitude serta waktu ke database. Sebelum diimplementasi, sensor GPS perlu dilakukan pengujian. Pengujian dilakukan dengan menggunakan berbagai varian GPS pada perangkat smartphone. Pengujian yang dilakukan berupa akurasi pembacaan lokasi disuatu tempat secara terus menerus pada kondisi yang sama antar alat uji. Selain itu dilakukan pengujian waktu jeda yang dibutuhkan untuk mengirim data setelah masuk area yang dibubuhkan geofencing.

Fast Moving Consumer goods FMCG are retail industri which needs suplay chain with the necessity of traceability to make consumer know the information and protect security by implemented identification system. Identification of objects location in real time is used within Objects realtime location. Real time Locating system is one of system which could be done by RFID. Recently, RFID is used as real time locating system because it rsquo s very realible for automation system. RFID have several disadvantages such as a special treatment to do a long range detection, low effectiveness for people who have lack of knowledge, and the difficulty of maintenance. It need an alternative method as a replacement of RFID. It could be a GPS sensor in smartphone. GPS within smartphone could be used as the application is created in Android operating system. The app is reinforced with geofencing to limit the identification process so it only works within the area which is settled. Geofence can be used as a trigger to send the data in database. GPS sensor in smartphone should be tested before the implementation. The test used several GPS in smartphone device. with different specification to observe the clear difference between maximum and minimum value. One of the test is to observe the accuracy of detection on a location repetitively. The other one is to observe the delay time needed "
