"Spektra Localized Surface Plasmon Resonance (LSPR) pada sebuah nanowire nilainya sangat dipengaruhi oleh ukuran, sudut datang gelombang elektromagnetik dan polarisasi dari gelombang tersebut. Pada studi ini dilakukan pada nanowire perak yang fungsi dielektrik dari peraknya diperoleh dari penelitian yang dilakukan oleh Johnson dan Christy (1972), dan medium kaca cembung dengan indeks refraksinya diperoleh dari penelitian yang dilakukan oleh Kim N (2014). Untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari perubahan sudutnya, pemodelan dilakukan dengan menggunakan sudut 0°, 15°, 30°, 45°, 60°, 75°, dan 90°. Serta aspek rasio 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, dan 20 untuk diameter nanopartikel 10nm. Hasil dari pemodelan yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Metallic Nanoparticles Boundary Element Method (MNPBEM), dapat diperoleh pengaruh tersebut pada spektra optik LSPR nanowire, yang dimana pada sudut datang mendekati 0° perubahan dari aspek rasio dalam wujud pertambahan panjang hanya merubah intensitas dari penampang lintang sedangkan saat sudut mendekati nilai 90° perubahan aspek rasio mulai memengaruhi posisi puncak dari resonansi LSPR yang terjadi yang mengakibatkan terjadinya redshift. Perubahan sudut datang gelombang elektromagnetik memengaruhi tidak hanya dari posisi puncak resonansi, tapi juga intensitas penampang lintang baik ekstinsi, hamburan, maupun serapan pada spektra optik nanowire. Seperti pada puncak resonansi utama yang dominan saat sudut 0° atau mode transversal secara bertahap mulai berkurang hingga bisa dikatakan tidak muncul lagi pada saat sudut 90°, dan juga sebaliknya puncak resonansi utama yang dominan saat sudut 90° tidak muncul hingga sudut datang bergeser dari 0° ke arah 90°

The Localized Surface Plasmon Resonance (LSPR) spectra of a nanowire are strongly influenced by the size, incident angle of the electromagnetic wave and the polarization of the wave. This study was conducted on silver nanowire whose dielectric function of silver was obtained from the research conducted by Johnson and Christy (1972), and convex glass medium with refractive index obtained from the research conducted by Kim N (2014). To determine the effect of changing the angle, modeling was done using angles of 0°, 15°, 30°, 45°, 60°, 75°, and 90°. As well as aspect ratios of 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, and 20 for a nanoparticle diameter of 10nm. The results of the modeling carried out using the Metallic Nanoparticles Boundary Element Method (MNPBEM), can be obtained the effect on the optical spectra of LSPR nanowire, which at an incident angle close to 0° the change of aspect ratio in the form of length increase only changes the intensity of the cross section while when the angle approaches the value of 90° the change in aspect ratio begins to affect the peak position of the LSPR resonance that occurs resulting in redshift. Changes in the angle of incident of electromagnetic waves affect not only the position of the resonance peak, but also the intensity of the cross section of both extinction, scattering, and absorption in the nanowire optical spectra. As in the main resonance peak which is dominant at an angle of 0 ° or transverse mode gradually begins to decrease until it can be said that it no longer appears at an angle of 90 °, and vice versa, the main resonance peak which is dominant at an angle of 90 ° does not appear until the angle of incidence shifts from 0 ° to 90 °."

"ABSTRAK
Teknologi Terahertz THz yang berada pada rentang frekuensi 0,1 ndash; 10 THz merupakan salah satu alternatif teknologi untuk aplikasi pencitraan maupun komunikasi nirkabel. Redaman atmosfir yang tinggi di rentang frekuensi tersebut menyebabkan kebutuhan akan perancangan antena sumber gelombang THz dengan kinerja gain dan efisiensi tinggi. Antena lensa dielektrik merupakan salah satu jenis antena yang jamak digunakan pada aplikasi pencitraan karena dapat menghasilkan kinerja gain yang tinggi dengan lebar pancar yang sempit dan menghasilkan citra beresolusi tinggi. Pada penelitian ini, dilakukan studi mengenai antena bow-tie dengan modifikasi capacitive bar dan double crossed sebagai sumber peradiasi gelombang THz. Substrat dan lensa berbahan Silikon dengan konstanta dielektrik tinggi digunakan untuk meningkatkan kinerja gain dan efisiensi. Untuk menanggulangi efek refleksi internal pada lensa maupun substrat, lapisan anti pemantulan matching layer diterapkan pada permukaan lensa menggunakan teknik quarterwavelength, cascaded, dan optimal. Dari hasil simulasi yang dilakukan, kombinasi bow-tie dengan capactive bar menghasilkan peningkatan gain sebesar 32,69 dB dengan efisiensi radiasi sebesar 90,4 . Untuk antena bow-tie double crossed peningkatan gain antena didapatkan hingga 33,78 dB dengan efisiensi radiasi sebesar 83,1 , dengan peningkatan kinerja side lobe level SLL sebesar -11,7 dB bidang-E dan -11,3 dB bidang-H .

ABSTRACT
Terahertz THz technology which lies in the 0.1 10 THz frequency range is one of the technology alternatives in wireless imaging and communications applications. The high atmospheric loss in this frequency range leads to the need for a high gain and efficiency THz source antenna. Dielectric lens antennas are one of the most common types of antennas used in imaging applications because they can produce high gain performance with narrow beamwidth and a high resolution images. In this study, simulation of bow tie antennas with capacitive bar and double crossed modifications is performed as a THz wave radiation source. High dielectric Silicone substrate and lenses are used to improve the gain and efficiency performances. To cope with the effect of internal reflection on the lens or substrate, the matching layer is applied to the lens surface using quarterwavelength, cascaded, and optimal techniques. From the simulation result, bow tie combination with capactive bar resulted in a gain increase of 32.69 dB with radiation efficiency of 90.4 . While in double crossed bow tie antenna the antenna gain is obtained up to 33,78 dB with radiation efficiency equal to 83,1 , with better side lobe level SLL performances of 11.7 dB E Plane and 11.3 dB H Plane ."
