"Setelah melalui pembahasan ketiga novel Virginia Woolf yang berjudul The Voyage Out, Mrs.Dalloway dan To the lighthouse, terlihat adanya perubahan pandangan terhadap kehidupan yang tercermin dalam tokoh-tokoh utama novel-novel. Pada mulanya tokoh-tokoh utama memandang kehidupan dengan pessimistic sekali, namun pada akhirnya mereka da_pat menerima kenyataan-kenyataan dalam kehidupan tanpa mengharapkan lebih dari yang ada dan tanpa ada rasa penyesalan dalam dirinya. Namun sebelum saya menerangkan lebih jauh mengenai hal tersebut diatas, terlebih dahulu, saya menerangkan atau menyimpulkan bagaimana perkembangan Virginia Woolf dalam mengungkapkan tema pokoknya, yaitu, pandangan terhadap kehidupan tokoh-tokoh utamanya, dalam ke tiga karyanya yang berjudul The Voyage Out, Mrs. Dalloway, den To the Lighthouse. "Solanesol merupakan senyawa alifatik rantai panjang yang bisa ditemukan pada tumbuhan famili Solanaceae. Di antara golongan famili Solanacea solanesol paling banyak ditemukan di daun tembakau dan memiliki berbagai manfaat diantaranya sebagai senyawa intermediet pembentukan ko-enzim Q10, vitamin K2, dan sinigiser agen antikanker N-solanesyl-N,N’-bis(3,4-dimethoxybenzyl) ethylenediamine (SDB). Kebutuhan solanesol dengan kemurnian tinggi pada bidang farmasi terus meningkat menandakan kebutuhan optimasi dari teknik ekstraksi senyawa tersebut dari bahan baku. Teknik ekstraksi yang digunakan adalah ekstraksi berbantuan gelombang mikro dan maserasi. Gelombang mikro menyebabkan terbukanya dinding sel dan dengan maserasi melarutkan senyawa solanesol dengan di dalam pelarut non-polar yang memiliki kelarutan yang sama dengan solanesol. Tembakau diberikan praperlakuan dengan oven dan MAE kemudian di maserasi dengan heksana:etanol ataupun PE:etanol. Dari penelitian ini didapatkan kondisi maserasi optimum untuk mengekstraksi solanesol dari daun tembakau adalah dengan pelarut PE:Etanol dengan perbandingan 3:2 dan dengan durasi 6 jam.

Solanesol is a long-chained aliphatic that can be found in Solanaceae family plants. This compound is found in tobacco leaves and has multiple functions especially in biomedical field. Solanesol is mostly used as intermediate compound to form Q10 co-enzyme, vitamin K2, and anticancer synergizer agent N-solanesyl-N,N’-bis(3,4-dimethoxybenzyl) ethylenediamine (SDB). With the need of pure solanesol raising, optimization of extraction process is needed. This research uses two extraction methods which are microwave assisted extraction (MAE) and maceration. MAE helps the lysis of molecular walls and with maceration the solanesol will be extracted into the non-polar solvent which has the same solubility as solanesol. Tobacco is pretreated with oven and MAE continued by maceration by hexane:ethanol or PE:Ethanol. From this research, it is found that optimum maceration condition to extract solanesol from tobacco leaves is using PE:Ethanol with the ratio of 3:2 for 6 hours."
