"Zona tumbukan, khususnya pada zona fold thrust belt (FTB), menjadi salah satu target penting eksplorasi migas di dunia. Di Indonesia sendiri, terdapat FTB yang berkembang di wilayah Kepulauan Tanimbar yang merupakan hasil dari tumbukan Lempeng Australia dengan Lempeng Sunda. Struktur ini menjadi perhatian dalam studi eksplorasi migas di Kawasan Indonesia Timur (KIT). Namun, dengan keterbatasan data geofisika yang ada, maka diperlukan integrasi beberapa metode geofisika untuk mempelajari karakteristik struktur tersebut. Dengan memanfaatkan integrasi metode seismik dan magnetik, dapat diperoleh interpretasi dan pemodelan struktur bawah permukaan di wilayah ini. Interpretasi seismik dilakukan untuk mengetahui batas masing-masing horizon dan struktur geologi yang terdapat di Pulau Selaru, Kepulauan Tanimbar. Sedangkan pengolahan data magnetik dilakukan untuk mendapatkan profil anomali magnet dan model bawah permukaannya. Interpretasi seismik menunjukkan 5 horizon yang terdiri atas Neogen, Paleogen, Kapur, Jura, dan Trias serta keberadaan struktur FTB. Selain itu, hasil time structure map menunjukkan pola struktur yang memiliki tren dengan orientasi barat daya – timur laut. Pengolahan dan pemodelan data magnetik menghasilkan 4 peta anomali dan 4 model bawah permukaan. Variasi nilai anomali magnet total berkisar dari -102.9 nT sampai dengan 73.8 nT. Nilai ini dipengaruhi oleh suseptibilitas magnetik batuan dan struktur geologi bawah permukaan di wilayah Pulau Selaru.
The collision zone, especially in the fold thrust belt (FTB) zone, is one of the most important targets for oil and gas exploration in the world. In Indonesia, FTB which developed in the Tanimbar Islands is the result of the collision between Australian Plate and Sunda Plate. This structure is a concern in oil and gas exploration study in the Eastern Indonesia Region. However, due to the limitations of the existing geophysical data, it is necessary to integrate several geophysical methods to study the characteristics of the structure. By utilizing the integration of seismic and magnetic methods, interpretation and modeling of subsurface structures in this region can be obtained. Seismic interpretation is carried out to determine the boundaries of each horizon and the geological structure found on Selaru Island, Tanimbar Islands. Meanwhile, magnetic data processing is carried out to obtain magnetic anomaly profiles and subsurface models. Seismic interpretation shows 5 horizons consisting of Neogene, Paleogene, Cretaceous, Jurassic, and Triassic as well as the presence of the FTB structure. In addition, the results of the time structure map show a structural pattern that has a trend with a SW - NE orientation. Magnetic data processing and modeling resulted in 4 anomaly maps and 4 subsurface models. Variations in total magnetic anomaly ranged from -102.9 nT to 73.8 nT. This value is influenced by the magnetic susceptibility of rocks and subsurface geological structures in the Selaru Island region."
