"A model to contour hydrographic data was designed to determine the depth of water. Because uf sparse and random nature of the given data, we superimposed an optimally sized grid system on the region and assigned the known data at their corresponding grid points. Thon We used the principle of minimum curvature tn derive finite difference? equations that calculated the remaining grid points. We iterated these equations until a convergence criterion of 0.01 over the whole grid was reached; this gave us a grid of values to contour. To insure corvergent.e of the grid before round-off error swamped the routine, we put the grid through an initializenq routine. The Geographical Information System is used to develop a powerful set of tools for concerting and displaying hydrographic data from the real world."

"Cekungan Air Tanah (CAT) Sumbawa Besar, merupakan cekungan air tanah yang terletak di Kabupaten Sumbawa, Nusa Tenggara Barat. Daerah ini termasuk dalam wilayah tanggap darurat bencana kekeringan di Nusa Tenggara Barat, pada musim kemarau tahun 2023, sehingga dilakukan penelitian untuk mengidentifikasi zona potensi air tanah di wilayah ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG) dan Analytical Hierarchical Process (AHP). Metode SIG digunakan untuk analisis parameter menjadi bentuk peta, sedangkan metode AHP digunakan untuk menentukan tingkat kepentingan parameter serta pembobotannya. Terdapat 12 parameter yang digunakan dalam penelitian, yang dianggap mempengaruhi potensi air tanah. Berdasarkan penggabungan seluruh parameter, dibuatlah peta zona potensi air tanah yang dibagi menjadi 3 kategori, yakni zona potensi air tanah rendah, mencakup sekitar 18% dari area penelitian, zona potensi air tanah sedang, mencakup sekitar 68% dari area penelitian, dan zona potensi air tanah tinggi, mencakup sekitar 14% dari area penelitian. Dari peta zona potensi air tanah, dapat disimpulkan bahwa zona potensi air tanah pada Cekungan Air Tanah Sumbawa Besar didominasi oleh zona potensi air tanah sedang, dengan sebagian kecil area berada pada zona rendah dan zona tinggi.

Sumbawa Besar groundwater basin is a groundwater basin located in Sumbawa Regency, West Nusa Tenggara. This area is included in the emergency response area for drought disaster in West Nusa Tenggara, in the dry season of 2023, so this research was conducted to identify the groundwater potential zones in this area. This research uses Geographic Information System (GIS) and Analytical Hierarchical Process (AHP) methods. The GIS method was used to analyze the parameters into a map, while the AHP method was used to determine the level of importance of the parameters and their weight. There are 12 parameters used in this study, which are considered to affect the potential of groundwater. Based on the combination of all parameters, a groundwater potential zone map was created and divided into 3 categories, namely low groundwater potential zone, covering about 18% of the research area, medium groundwater potential zone, covering about 68% of the research area, and high groundwater potential zone, covering about 14% of the research area. From the groundwater potential zone map, it can be concluded that the groundwater potential zone in the Sumbawa Besar Groundwater Basin is dominated by the medium potential zone, with the small part of area in the low and high potential zone. "

"Kabupaten Sumenep merupakan salah satu wilayah dengan kondisi kekeringan paling parah di Indonesia sejak tahun 2018. Sepanjang musim kemarau tahun 2023, sebanyak 59 dari 332 desa di Kabupaten Sumenep mengalami kekeringan yang disebabkan oleh kemarau panjang disertai dengan fenomena el nino. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan zona potensial air tanah di Cekungan Air Tanah (CAT) Sumenep agar dapat dijadikan sebagai sumber acuan bagi instansi terkait dalam meningkatkan manajemen sumber daya air di daerah tersebut. Penelitian ini mengaplikasikan teknik Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG) dan metode analytical hierarchy process (AHP) untuk menentukan pembobotan data geospasial yang mencakup dua belas parameter: litologi, geomorfologi, tutupan lahan, curah hujan, jenis tanah, kerapatan drainase, kerapatan kelurusan, topographic wetness index (TWI), topographic position index (TPI), kemiringan lereng, kelengkungan lereng, kekasaran permukaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa daerah penelitian didominasi oleh zona potensi air tanah sedang dengan persentase sebesar 53,65% dari luas daerah penelitian dengan debit optimum sumur air tanah 6-25 liter/detik, lalu diikuti oleh zona potensi air tanah tinggi sebesar 36,77% dari luas daerah penelitian dengan debit optimum sumur air tanah 25-40 liter/detik, dan zona potensi air tanah rendah sebesar 9,58% dari luas daerah penelitian dengan debit optimum sumur 8 liter/detik.

Sumenep Regency is one of the areas that has experienced the most severe drought conditions in Indonesia since 2018. Throughout the dry season of 2023, 59 out of 332 villages in Sumenep Regency suffered from drought due to an prolonged dry period along with the El Niño phenomenon. This study aims to delineate the potential groundwater zones in Sumenep Groundwater Basin to serve as a reference for related officials in improving water resource management in the region. The study applies Geographic Information System (GIS) techniques combined with Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to calculate the weight of geospatial data that incorporating twelve parameters: lithology, geomorphology, land use land cover, rainfall, soil type, drainage density, lineament density, topographic wetness index (TWI), topographic position index (TPI), slope, curvature, and surface roughness. The result indicate that the study area is predominantly dominated by moderate groundwater potential zones, accounting for 53,65% of the study area with optimum well discharges of 6-25 litres/second, followed by high groundwater potential zones, encompassing 36,77% of the study area with optimum well discharges of 25-40 litres/second, and low groundwater potential zones, making up 9,58% of the study area with optimum well discharge of 8 litres/second. "
