"Skripsi ini membahas pola kalimat, keefektifan kalimat, dan perkembangan bahasa hukum dalam UU Tahun 1980, UU Tahun 1990, UU Tahun 2000, dan UU Tahun 2010. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan bahasa Indonesia dalam empat undang-undang, khususnya dari segi pola kalimat dan keefektifan kalimat. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk menjelaskan perkembangan bahasa hukum dalam keempat undang-undang tersebut dari segi pola kalimat dan keefektifan kalimat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif. Hasil penelitiannya adalah kalimat dalam keempat undang-undang yang diteliti belum sepenuhnya mengikuti kaidah bahasa Indonesia. Namun, undang-undang tersebut mengalami perkembangan dari segi pola kalimat dan keefektifan kalimat.

This thesis explains pattern, effectiveness, and development of the sentences on legal language in the laws on 1980, laws on 1990, laws on 2000, and laws on 2010. The aim of this research is to describe the usage of bahasa Indonesia in four different laws, particularly in the pattern and the effectiveness of the sentences. Moreover, this research will also explain the development of legal language in the four laws above in terms of pattern and effectiveness of sentences. The nature of this thesis is descriptive qualitative research. The results of this research are the sentence on the four researched laws above does not fulfill the principle of bahasa Indonesia. However, the laws above has developed in term of pattern and effectiveness of sentences."
