"The first faunistic record of tiger beetles (Coleoptera: Carabidae: Cicindelinae) in Compostela Valley Province, Mindanao with notes on their habitat is presented. Opportunistic sampling, standard light trapping and photo documentation were conducted in selected areas from January to April 2013 and in September 2015. One hundred four tiger beetles belonging to twelve species and seven genera were recorded. An astonishing (100%) endemicity was observed identified to subspecies level. Thopeutica and Calomera species, specifically Thopeutica anichtchenkoi Wiesner, 2015 and Calomera mindaoensis Cassola, 2000 were observed to be abundant in the samples mostly found in the mountainous and forested open riparian ecosystem of Cagan, New Bataan. Cylindera (Ifasina) discreta elaphroides (Dokhtouroff 1882) was the most common species and was found in different habitat types, but the majority of the species showed a narrow and specialized habitat preference. Protection and conservation of remaining forest areas in Cagan is especially important in preserving endemic species."

"Walini merupakan wilayah yang akan mendapatkan manfaat langsung dari Proyek Kereta Cepat Jakarta-Bandung. Pengembangan Walini dapat mengacu Silicon Valley, dimana tingkat pertumbuhan lapangan kerja naik 11,5 dan tingkat pengangguran turun menjadi 3.6 sejak 2007-2015. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merencanakan pemetaan kawasan dan menganalisa rencana biaya investasi berbasis risiko di Walini sebagai technopark berbasis silicon valley dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Hasilnya, Walini mempunyai kesesuaian terhadap karakteristik technopark mengacu Visi, Peraturan dan Pemerintahan, Infrastruktur, Stakeholder dan Target Pasar. Selain itu, hasil dari analisa finansial berbasis risiko, nilai NPV Total turun Rp.32.162.318.205,13 dalam 1000 atau sebesar 35,21 dari NPV Total before risk Rp.123.501.671.470,13 dalam 1000. Lalu, masing-masing IRR per kawasan juga turun dengan nilai yang bervariasi, walaupun begitu, nilainya masih diatas suku bunga BI Rate 4,25. Investasi masih dinilai layak karena PI > 1, walaupun revenue-nya menurun dan jangka waktu pengembalian modal menjadi lebih lama. Walini Technopark yang diintegrasikan sebagai nilai tambah Proyek Kereta Cepat Jakarta-Bandung, menghasilkan PI > 1, terjadi di tahun ke-33 dengan NPV Total Rp.135,498,626,555,68 dalam 1000 dan IRR sebesar 8,48. Sehingga, Walini Technopark dapat memberikan manfaat berupa revenue yang lebih cepat 9 tahun terhadap proyeksi yang semula 42 tahun.

Walini is an area that will get benefit from the Jakarta Bandung High Speed Railway project. Its development could comply of Silicon Valley, where the employment growth rate rose 11.5 and unemployment rate down to 3.6 from 2007 2015. The aim of this study are to plan mapping area and analyze investment funds plan nasedon risk of Walini as a technopark based on Silicon Valley using descriptive methods. The results, Walini has a compatibility from general technopark characteristic Vision, Regulation and Government, Infrastructure, Stakeholder and Market Target. Furthermore, investment based on risk made the Total NPV value decreased by Rp.32.162.318.205,13 in 1000 or by 35.21 before risk, which is Rp.123.501.671.470,13 in 1000. Then, the value of IRR from each area had variative result despite of still greater than BI Rate 4.25. The investment remains acceptable caused of the PI 1, even the revenue had a decreasement with a long term of payback period. In case Walini Technopark as a value added to Jakarta Bandung High Speed Railway, its has produced PI 1, happened in years 33 with Total NPV Rp.135,498,626,555,68 in 1000 and IRR 8,48. So that, Walini Technopark could give a benefit 9 years earlier than a formerly projection, which was a 42 years.

"Tugas akhir ini mengemukakan usulan perbaikan sistem kinerja (performance appraisal) karyawan dari sebuah perusahaan penyedia jasa profesional (professional service firm = PSF) di bidang akuntansi publik dan konsultasi perpajakan.
SunshineValley Jakarta merupakan berafiliasi kepada SunshineValley Global, sebuah perusahaan penyedia jasa profesional yang terdapat di 144 negara dan mempunyai Iebih dari 120 ribu karyawan. Di tingkat nasional SunshineValley Jakarta menduduki tempat kedua paling besar dari perusahaan sejenis dengan total karyawan 700 orang.
Sumber daya manusia menjadi tulang punggung PSF karena itu sistem pengelolaan sumber daya manusia ternasuk sistem penilaian kinerja (performance appraisal system) menjadi perhatian utama dari manajemen.
SunshineValley telah menerapkan sistem penilaian kinerja secara online yang berlaku untuk seluruh jajaran karyawan. Kekuatan dari sistem ini terletak pada kesederhanaannya. Namun demikian, kesederhanaan sistem perlu diimbangi dengan penjelasan yang komprehensif tentang semua fitur dan fasilitas yang disediakan oleh sistem. Berdasarkan pengamatan penulis, penjelasan komprehensif yang juga ramah pengguna (user-friendly) belum mendukung penggunaan sistem ini.
Penulis mengusulkan pembuatan panduan komprehensif tercetak dan penyelenggaraan sesi¬sesi sosialisasi sistem. Mengingat beragamnya kepakaran dan jenjang status karyawan di SunshineValley Jakarta, penulis menyarankan agar membuat panduan komprehensif tercetak untuk kelompok associates yaitu kelompok yang baru saja bergabung dengan SunshineValley Jakarta dengan masa kerja 0 sampai dengan 5 tahun. Dasar pemikiran dari pemilihan kelompok ini adalah agar sejak awal para karyawan di SunshineValley memahami sepenuhnya proses penilaian kinerja sehingga jika masanya tiba bagi mereka untuk menjadi penilai, diharapkan mereka akan menjadi penilai yang objektif dan fair.
Program sosialisasi dan pengenalan sistem dengan dukungan panduan komprehensif tercetak perlu diselenggarakan segera.

This final paper is to propose some improvements for the employee performance appraisal system of a professional service firm that gives accounting and taxation services.
SunshineValley Jakarta is affiliated to SunshineValley Global, a global professional service firm that has offices in 144 countries and has over 120 employees. Nationally, SunshineValley Jakarta is the second biggest among similar firms, having 700 employees in total.
Human resource is the backbone of a professional service firm which makes human resource management including performance appraisal system ultimately important.
SunshineValley has already implemented an online performance appraisal system that applies for all staff. The system' strength lies on its simplicity. However, it is thought that simplicity should be balanced with comprehensive guidance on how to utilise all features and facilities provided by the system. Based on the writer's observation, the system has not yet been supported with a comprehensive guideline that is also expected to be user-friendly.
The writer proposes the making of comprehensive printed guide, and socialisation sessions on how to utilise and use the system. Because of the variety of expertise and level status of staff in SunshineValley Jakarta, the writer proposes to prepare a printed guide for associates, a group of staff who have just joined the firm with 0 to 5 years of length of service. It is expected that from the very beginning of their career with Sunshine Valley they have to fully understand the process of the performance appraisal so that when the time comes for them as the appraisers, they would become fair and objective appraisers.
The socialization and introductory sessions supported by a comprehensive, printed system guide has to be done very soon.
