"ABSTRAKPenelitian ini membahas mengenai Pancasila sebagai falsafah bangsa Indonesia menjadi pedoman dalam Kode Etik Pustakawan Indonesia. Nilai-nilai Pancasila merasuk dalam setiap prinsip dan butir kode etik yaitu tanggung jawab, kejujuran, keadilan, dan otnomi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi dan memahami makna dari butir-butir dari kode etik pustakawan yang menunjukkan representasi dari nilai-nilai Pancasila menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode semiotik Ferdinand De Saussure. Semiotik membagi Penanda (signifier) yaitu teks Kode etik pustakawan Indonesia dan teks Pancasila, petandanya (signified) yaitu eori dan konsep dari Pancasila dan kode etik tersebut, serta tanda (sign) yaitu makna nilai-nilai Pancasila yang terepresentasi dalam kode etik. Prinsip-prinsip etika profesi, kode etik pustakawan dan pancasila saling terkait dengan konvensi sosial. Para profesional pustakawan menyepakati Pancasila sebagai falsafah Negara Indonesia, maka setiap elemen dalam kehidupan sepatutnya memiliki unsur nilai Pancasila, tak terkecuali kode etik Pustakawan Indonesia.

ABSTRACT

This study discusses about Pancasila as the fundamental values become the guidelines for the basis of the formation of Indnonesian Librarian Ethics Code. Pancasila values pervasive in every principle and point ehtics code that responsibility, honesty, justice, and autonomy. This study aims to identify and understand the meaning of the librarian ethics code points that shows a representation from the values of Pancasila. This study use a qualitative approach with the method of Ferdinand De Saussure's semiotic. Semiotic divide signifier is Indonesian librarian ethics code and Pancasila text, the signified that is the theory and the concept of Pancasila and the ethics code, and sign is the meaning of Pancasila values are represented in the ethics code. The principles of professional ethics, librarians ethics code and Pancasila intertwined with social conventions. The professional librarians agree on Pancasila as the philosophy of the State of Indonesia, then every element in life should have an element of the Pancasila values, no exception is Indonesia Librarian Ethics Code."
