"Hubungan antara negara dan bisnis menjadi basis institusional dari proses industrialisasi di Korea Selatan. Hubungan ini bersifat dinamis dalam menghadapi tantangan domestik dan internasional. Walaupun telah melewati reformasi ekonomi neoliberal pasca Krisis Finansial Asia, hubungan yang terbentuk di bawah model developmental state ini, ternyata berlanjut hingga ke era globalisasi kontemporer. Tulisan ini akan menjawab pertanyaan bagaimana evolusi kronologis dari hubungan negara dan bisnis dalam proses industrialisasi di Korea Selatan? Berdasarkan analisis struktural dari tiga periode industrialisasi di Korea Selatan: tahun 1961-1979, tahun 1980-1998, hingga pasca tahun 1998, ditemukan evolusi peran dan karakter dari hubungan negara dan bisnis. Pertama, hubungan negara dan bisnis diwarnai dengan karakter negara kuat, bisnis lemah yang berperan dalam pertumbuhan ekonomi pesat di Korea Selatan. Kedua, evolusi terjadi yang melihat pergeseran karakter hubungan negara dan bisnis menjadi negara melemah, bisnis menguat yang berperan dalam menyebabkan krisis berimbas bagi Korea Selatan. Terakhir, evolusi kembali terjadi dengan penetapan hubungan negara dan bisnis yang karakternya adaptif serta berperan dalam menghasilkan upaya-upaya adaptasi terhadap tantangan neoliberalisme global.

State-business relations become the institutional basis for South Korea's industrialization process. This type of state-business relations is dynamic in facing domestic and international challenges. Even though it has gone through neoliberal reforms after the Asian Financial Crisis, the relationship formed under developmental state model have continued into the contemporary era of globalization. This paper will answer the question of how the chronological evolution of state and business relations in the industrialization process in South Korea? Based on the structural analysis of the three periods of industrialization in South Korea: from 1961-1979, 1980-1998, until after 1998, the evolution of the roles and characters of the South Korean state and business relations was found. First, the relationship between the state and business is characterized by the character of strong state, weak business that plays a role in rapid economic growth in South Korea. Second, evolution occurs which sees the character of the relationship shifted into a weakening state, stronger business and has a role in causing the financial crisis in South Korea. Finally, re-evolution occurs by establishing an adaptive state-business relations in character and this relation plays a role in generating adaptation measures to the challenges of global neoliberalism."

"Skripsi ini membahas pengaruh industrialisasi terhadap perubahan peran keluarga Korea. Pembahasan tersebut menguraikan bagaimana pengaruh industrialisasi terhadap peran keluarga di Korea, sehingga mengakibatkan terjadinya perubahan dan juga menguraikan nilai-nilai yang berubah di dalamnya. Penelitian akan dibuktikan dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif atas perubahan dari peran masing-masing anggota keluarga di era modern Korea dan nilai-nilai yang berubah di dalamnya. Hasil studi ini membuktikan adanya pengaruh industrialisasi terhadap perubahan peran keluarga di Korea. Dari pembuktian tersebut, dapat ditarik kesimpulan mengenai nilai-nilai apa saja yang berubah di dalam keluarga Korea akibat industrialisasi.

The focus of this study is to explain the changing role of the Korean family as a result of industrialization that applied there. The discussion outlines the effect of industrialization on the changing role of the family in Korea and the values that are changed in family. This study will be conducted by descriptive-qualitative approach of the changing role of each member in the family in the modern era of Korea and the values that are changed in it. The results of this study demonstrate the effect of industrialization on the changing role of the family in Korea. From the evidences, it can be deduced about what values are changed in the Korean family as a result of industrialization."

"ABSTRAK The fractionation of five heavy metals in a washing aggregate sludge, a sewage sludge, a clay-rich sediment, the mixtures of these materials and the lightweight aggregates manufactured with them has been determined by applying the optimezed European Community Bureau of Reference sequential extraction procedure in order to evaluate the effects of the heating process on the extraction of these elements. Additionally, preparation of efaluates by aggregate leaching has been performed in accordance with the UNE-EN-1744-3 standard. The availability of all the studied heavy metals has been reduced by the thermal treatment, since most of the heavy metals have become part of the undigested material in the lightweight aggregates. Nickel has been the heavy metal that has presented the highest concentration in the eluates obtained after completion of the single extraction procedure in the lightweight aggregates. The studied lightweight aggregates may be used in lightweight concerte manufacturing from the standpoint of heavy metal leaching. "

"Many developing countries have relied quite heavily on the policy of industrial decentralization to uplift the lagging economies of their peripheral regions. In Malaysia, the MIDA plays a major role in persuading foreign enterprises to locate in the periphery. In addition to MIDA, there are plethora of state agencies which implement state industrial policy. Development officials in their effort to attract more industries to their respective regions, work on the premise that certain locational factors are critical to investors locational decision-making process. Obviously development officials have their own perceptions of the attractions and disadvantages of the periphery. This paper examines whether the officials have a good gasp of the industrialist dominant motives for selecting Kedah as production location and discusses the implications for industrial development in officials assumptions do not occur with industrialists real reasons for selecting Kedah."
