"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui model yang terbaik dalam memprediksi nilai tukar Rupiah terhadap dollar AS dari ketiga model berikut: Model Purchasing Power Parity, Sticky Price Monetary Approach dan Uncovered Interest Rate Parity. Variabel-variabel yang digunakan meliputi nilai tukar Rupiahterhadap dolar AS periode t(s1) dan t+1 (St+1) tingkat harga Indonesia (p1) dan Amerika Serikat (p t), perbedaan jumlah uang beredar Indonesia dan Amerika Serikat (m1 - mt), perbedaan tingkat pendapatan Indonesia dan Amerika (y1 - yt), perbedaan tingkat suku bunga Indonesia dan Amerika Serikat (R1 - Rt), dan perbedaan tingkat inflasi Indonesia dan Amerika (J.t 1 - Jl•t). Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini Error Correction Model (ECM) untuk mengestimasi hubungan jangka pendek. Selain itu, untuk melihat kemampuan memprediksi dari model tersebut digunakan Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE).

Aim of this papers is to find the best model to predict rupiah's exchange rote to dollar. This papers comparing three model, Purchasing Power Parity, Sticky Price Monetary Approach and Uncovered Interest Rate Parity. Variable used are rupiah's exchange rate to dollar in t and t+l period, Indonesia's interest rate, price index at Indonesia and US, money supply, inflation. Analyze method using error corection model for estimate in short run. The other: side, for look forcasting ability from models, we use MAPE (mean absolute percentage error).

"Over the past two decades, labor unions in the United States have experienced a profound crisis. In spite of spending hundreds of millions of dollars on new organizing campaigns, unions have not won a major victory since 1995, and membership rates have steadily plunged. Meanwhile, corporate power has strengthened its grip, making the strength of unions more relevant than ever. What is the reason behind the downfall of the unions, and what can be done about it? No Shortcuts examines the ways in which unions can reverse their recent decline, arguing that despite todays extremely hostile environment, unions could win much more if they changed their organizing strategies. Through case study analysis, the book demonstrates that different organizing strategies produce different outcomes representing different levels of success, and that the reason for the decline in union victories lies not in the growing power of employers, but rather in the ways in which unions organize both members and nonmembers. Once, the workers themselves were the focus of union organizing, but organizers in the new millennium have spent most of their energy on corporate campaigns intended to weaken employer opposition to unions-making the employers, not the workers, the new center of the movement. No Shortcuts concludes that reversing todays inequality will require a robust embrace of unions-but of unions that are democratic and focused on bottom-up rather than top-down strategies, that place the agency for change in workers acting collectively both at work and in the communities in which they reside. Finally, the books analysis, although focused on the organization of strong unions, has the broadest possible application: the organization of a just society."

"Tesis ini meneliti tentang pengaruh informasi (misalnya iklan) yang disampaikan melalui televisi terhadap kecenderungan terjadinya pembelian impulsif. Semakin banyak iklan tentu diharapkan akan semakin banyak pula pembelian impulsifnya. Namun di dalam teori juga disebutkan bahwa semakin tinggi informasi yang diberikan akan menyebabkan semakin tinggi pula pengetahuan konsumen akan produk tersebut, dan pengetahuan produk akan membuat konsumen menjadi pembeli yang rasional (bukan impulsif). Dengan menggunakan informasi sebagai variabel independen, pengetahuan produk sebagai variabel intervening, dan pembelian impulsif sebagai variabel dependen (serta ditambahkan dengan empat variabel kontrol yaitu gender, usia, kesensitifan harga, dan kecenderungan pada promosi), hasil dari penelitian ini ternyata memperlihatkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan apapun diantara ketiga variabel yang diujikan. Beberapa hal yang dapat dianalisis mengenai penolakan hipotesis itu antara lain disebabkan oleh adanya perbedaan tipe produk dan profil responden yang diteliti.

This thesis examined the influence of information exposure (example: advertising) delivered via television to the likelihood of impulse purchasing behavior. More and more ads are expected of the more impulsive purchases. But in theory also says that the higher the information given will cause the higher the consumer's knowledge of these products, and knowledge will make consumer products into a rational buyer (not impulsive). By using the information as an independent variable, product knowledge as intervening variables, and impulse purchasing behavior as the dependent variable (and added to the four control variables of gender, age, price consciousness, and deal proneness), the results of this study was to show that there is no relationship Any of the three variables tested. Some things that can be analyzed on the rejection of the hypothesis that among other things due to the differences in product type and profile of respondents in the study."

"[Penelitian ini menguji validitas teori Purchasing Power Parity di Indonesia dengan lima mitra dagang terpilih dengan menggunakan data berfrekuensi bulanan. Pengujian dilakukan dengan metode kointegrasi Engle-Granger kemudian apabila terbukti terdapat hubungan kointegrasi antara nilai tukar dan tingkat harga antara Indonesia dan mitra dagangnya maka selanjutnya dibentuk model koreksi kesalahan untuk melihat dinamika jangka pendeknya. Hasil peneltian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan kointegrasi pada kasus Indonesia-AS, Indonesia-Inggris dan Indonesia-Jepang pada periode Januari 2000-Januari 2015. Sedangkan pada jangka pendek kondisi PPP tidak berlaku, karena banyak faktor lain yang menjelaskan perubahan pada nilai tukar selain tingkat harga, dan karena tingkat harga pada jangka pendek cenderung bergerak lebih lambat dibandingkan nilai tukar.

The result shows that there is a cointegrating relation between Indonesia-US and Indonesia-UK and Indonesia-Japan in the long-run but no PPP relation in the short-run. "Perkembangan dunia live video streaming dalam beberapa tahun terakhir didasari oleh faktor tingginya kenaikan penggunaan layanan tersebut pada e-commerce platforms. Fitur live stream saat ini banyak di implementasi oleh e-commerce platform di mana dengan melihat siaran secara langsung, pelanggan dapat merasakan proses berbelanja yang lebih menyenangkan layaknya berbelanja fisik di toko secara offline. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh fitur teknis pada live streaming dari perspektif teori IT affordance, faktor product uncertainty, dan jenis produk pada live stream, terhadap intensi pembelian produk melalui e-commerce platforms. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian dilakukan dengan menyebar kuesioner secara online yang melibatkan 322 responden. Dalam pengolahan data, penulis mengguanakan IBM AMOS 26.0, IBM Statistics SPSS 25, dan SmartPLS. Hasil pada penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa tingkat uncertainty terkait produk mempengaruhi intensi seseorang dalam melakukan belanja menggunakan live streaming pada e-commerce platform. Selain itu, temuan pada penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa teori IT affordance yang dijabarkan melalui variabel visibility, metavoicing, dan social connecting serta tipe produk yang ditonton juga berpengaruh terhadap tingkat uncertainty pengguna live stream. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa untuk meningkatkan intensi pengguna dalam berbelanja di ecommerce menggunakan live streaming, diperlukan aspek hingga fitur teknis IT yang baik.

The development of the world of live video streaming in recent years is based on the high increase in the use of these services on e-commerce platforms. The live stream feature is currently widely implemented by e-commerce platforms where by watching live streaming, customers can experience a more enjoyable shopping process like shopping physically in an offline store. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the effect of technical features on live streaming from the perspective of IT affordance theory, product uncertainty factors, and product types on live streams, on the intention to purchase products through e-commerce platforms. Data collection in the study was conducted by distributing online questionnaires involving 322 respondents. In processing data, the authors use IBM AMOS 26.0, IBM Statistics SPSS 25, and SmartPLS. The results of this study prove that the level of product-related uncertainty influences one's intention to shop using live streaming on the e-commerce platform. In addition, the findings in this study indicate that IT affordance theory which is elaborated through the variables of visibility, metavoicing, and social connecting as well as the type of product being watched also influences the level of uncertainty of live stream users. Therefore, it can be concluded that in order to increase user intentions in shopping on e-commerce using live streaming, aspects of IT technical features are needed."
