"Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan menganalisis pengaruh kebijakan pendirian agensi promosi ekspor pemerintah (Indonesia Trade Promotion Center) terhadap peningkatan ekspor non-migas Indonesia di 42 negara mitra dagang, yang kemudian akan dianalisis lebih lebih dalam dengan membagi negara mitra dagang tersebut kedalam kelompok negara berpendapatan tinggi dan menengah.Adapun penelitian ini akan menggunakan variabel dummy kebijakan ITPC di 42 negara mitra dagang sebagai proksi dari promosi ekspor dan sebagai proksi kebijakan pemerintah dalam mengatasi hambatan asimetris informasi. Penelitian ini akan diestimasi dengan menggunakan pendekatan model data panel dan menggunakan waktu periode penelitian tahun 2000-2014.Secara umum hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa keberadaan agensi promosi ekspor berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap peningkatan ekspor non-migas Indonesia. Hasil kajian ini juga membuktikan bahwa keberadaan ITPC di negara berpendapatan tinggi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap peningkatan ekspor akan tetapi tidak ditemukan pengaruh ITPC di negara berpendapatan menengah.

This research aims to analyze the effect of Export Promotion Agency Republic of Indonesia (named Indonesian Trade Promotion Center). This ITPC was established to promote non-oil export of Indonesia in 42 country trading patner. This research deeply analyzes in details the trades partner countries of both in group of the high and middle income countries.This study use a dummy variable of ITPC in 42 country trading partner as both the proxy of export promotion and government policies in dealing with asymmetry information problem. This research using panel data model with the time period of 2000 to 2014.In general, this research found that the existence of the export promotion agency is positive and significant to promote Indonesia export. This research also proved that the existence of ITPC has significant positive effect on export in high-income countries yet opposite in middle income counties."
