"Perkembangan teknologi membuat adanya perubahan dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk dalam organisasi. Faktor yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan pada organisasi tersebut bersumber dari dapat bersumber dari internal maupun eksternal individu. Salah satu faktor individu yang mendukung keberhasilan perubahan dalam organisasi adalah adanya komitmen afektif untuk berubah pada individu di organisasi tersebut. Tujuan dari studi ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan antara hardiness yaitu variabel kepribadian yang berfungsi sebagai sumber daya untuk menangkal konsekuensi negatif dari kondisi yang tidak menguntungkan dengan komitmen afektif untuk berubah pada seseorang. Hasil dari 178 responden yang merupakan karyawan institusi keuangan menunjukan bahwa hardiness memiliki korelasi positif dengan komitmen seseorang untuk berubah.
The development of technology makes changes in various aspect of life, including in the organization. Factors that influence the success of the organization could be sourced from internal or external of individu. One individual factors that supports the successful change in organizations is individual affective commitment to change in the organization. The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between hardiness ndash which is a personality variable that functions as a resource to resist the negative consequences of adverse conditions with affective commitment to change. The results from 178 respondents collected from finance institution employee in Indonesia showed that hardiness has a positive relationship with affective commitment to change."
