Berkaitan dengan temuan menyangkut fenomena konsep ?pengenalan? yang memperlihatkan bahwa ?guru? dan ?teman? itu menjadi pihak yang pertama kali memperkenalkan komputer dan terkait dengan cara dalam mengenal komputer (cara formal dan informal ) sebelumnya, tampaknya ini dimungkinkan terjadi karena di lingkungan masyarakat Desa Nelayan kelurahan Untia, Kecamatan Biringkanaya Kota Makassar itu memang tidak sepenuhnya ?berbau? nelayan, melainkan ?kehidupan sehari-hari? mereka itu bertendensi terpengaruh oleh karakteristik lingkungan mereka, misalnya terkait dengan faktor aktifitas ekonomi masyarakat yang berdasarkan data monografi memang bukan hanya nelayan melainkan banyak jenis okupasi lainnya. Begitu juga dengan kondisi infra struktur, berdasarkan data monografi yang ada memang mengindikasikan bahwa desa lokasi penelitian ini memang cenderung sebagai desa yang mudah diakses oleh daerah-daerah lain. Dengan demikian desa dimaksud memang cenderung sangat terbuka bagi masuknya pengaruh-pengaruh dari luar desa nelayan. Dalam konteks dimaksud, karenanya pihak ?guru dan teman? tadi memang jadi sangat dimungkinkan menjadi ?pihak pertama? yang memperkenalkan komputer kepada masyarakat Desa Nelayan. Kemudian, terkait dengan masalah pengetahuan komputer, maka dalam hubungan temuan bahwa umumnya responden tahu tentang komponen output komputer dan komponen input komputer, serta hanya tahu secara umum pada jenis-jenis
tertentu saja terkait storage komputer, ragam aplikasi, dan sistem operasi komputer, maka secara teoritis dalam perspektif Cognitive Psycholog , kiranya itu menggambarkan hasil responden desa pantai tentang ?bagaimana
mereka belajar, menghapal, dan mengingat kembali sebuah informasi menyangkut eksistensi komputer?. Sementara gambaran yang mengindikasikan relatif kurang baiknya pengetahuan responden tentang komputer menyangkut Komponen Output Komputer, Komponen Input Komputer, Komponen Storage, Ragam Aplikasi, dan Sistem Operasi tadi, kiranya ini juga ada hubungannya dengan faktor karakteristik desa pantai tadi, terutama dalam hubungannya dengan data yang memperlihatkan nelayan memang sebagai okupasi terbesar di desa nelayan."
