"Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh kecerdasan emosional terhadap efektivitas kepemimpinan oleh Ketua Program Vokasi Universitas Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 100 responden terderi dari karyawan tetap, dosen tetap dan ketua program studi dengan menggunakan metode total sampling. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan linear regression. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan emosional memiliki pengaruh 75.7 % terhadap efektivitas kepemimpinan oleh Ketua Program Vokasi UI. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa dimensi pengaturan diri, motivasi diri, empati dan keterampilan sosial mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap efektivitas kepemimpinan. Sedangkan dimensi kesadaran diri tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap efektivitas kepemimpinan pada Ketua Program Vokasi UI.

The objective of this research is to analyze the effect of emotional intelligence on leadership effectiveness at Vokasi Program, University of Indonesia. This research used quantitative approach. The sample of this research is 100 employees of Vokasi Program, collected using total sampling This research used questionnaire as research instrument and analyzed using linear regression. The result of this research shows that emotional intelligent value has influence 75.7 % on leadership effectiveness. The analysis indicated that self control, self motivation, emphaty and social skill have a significant effect on leadership effectiveness. Meanwhile, self awareness doesn’t have a significant effect on leadership effectiveness."
