ABSTRACT
Introduction The impact of adolescents pregnancy are related to the risk of maternal and infant health. To define health risk should be viewed comprehensively. Objective To evaluate the effect of adolescent pregnancy on maternal and infant health. Methods Secondary analysis of Indonesia Demographic Health Survey IDHS 2012, with a sample of 2.167 respondents who qualified inclusion criteria women of childbearing who have first child given birth since January 2007 up to the survey occur . Polychoric PCA used to make the composite index of maternal and infant health. Logistic regression used to to determine the relationship of adolescent pregnancy on maternal and infant health. Results Maternal health can be define by a status indicator maternal morbidity, access to health care and health behaviors. Infant health can be define by indicator infant morbidity and nutritional status of infants. Adolescents pregnancy with higher educational status had a risk of 5,4 95 CI 1,3 ndash 22,0 times to have worse maternal health compared with adult pregnancies after controlled by occupation, socioeconomic variables and region. Adolescent pregnancy had a risk 1,3 95 CI 0,9 ndash 1,7 times to have worse infant health compared with adult pregnancies after controlled by socioeconomic variables. Conclusion Risk of adolescent pregnancy in maternal and infant health are worse than adult."

This study uses Data Indonesia Demographic and Health Survey IDHS in 2012.The aims of this study to determine contribution Factors of maternal, infant andhealth care access antenatal care and childbirth of the Neonatal Death inIndonesia. Designs in this study was population Crossectional of infant born alivein 2007 until 2012 the last son of a woman of childbearing age 15 49 years inIndonesia with sample of 12 766. The relationship is determined by multiplelogistic regression analysis. Results of research contributing result less riskmaternal factors were 2.6 times and bad maternal risk factor of 2.5 timescompared to the maternal factors well after being controlled by the level ofeducation, economic status, employment status and region residence. Thecontribution factors babies less risk factor of 1.9 times and bad babies risk factorof 7.8 times compared to well after the baby factor controlled by the level ofeducation, economic status, employment status and region of residence. Thecontribution access to health services ANC and childbirth less risk than 1.8 timesbetter access to health care after being controlled by the level of education, economic status, employment status and region of residence, poor access to healthservices no effect on neonatal deaths. Moving the continuum of care for the bride, the increase in family planning programs, and an increase in childbirth in healthfacilities.

"This study aims to End factors that influence
utilization of maternal health care by pregnant women with
complication using the results of the 2002-2003 indonesia
Demographic and Health Survey. Factor analyzed are women ?s
empowerment, husband 's involvement, women's knowledge on
health care and socioeconomic conditions. By applying logistic
regression and using I0 independent variables to represent
those factors, this study reveals that husbands education,
husband's companionship for antenatal care (ANC) visits,
women 's knowledge about danger signs of pregnancy
complications, and 14/0men's involvement in decision making
significantly influence the utilization of maternal health care.
Husband 's support in ANC was found as the strongest factor of
women?s health seeking behavior during pregnancy followed by
husband 's education, women 's involvement in decision making,
and women 's knowledge about danger signs of pregnancy
complications. Therefore, any intervention program aimed at
improving maternal health in indonesia should address the
issues related to the four aspects mentioned above.
