"This study is aimed to investigate the prevalence and pattern ofdomestic violence against women and to identify the factors influencing thedomestic violence. Cross sectional data from married women aged I5 yearsand above from rural and urban slum areas were collected for thequantitative analysis. 'I`he study also conducted qualitative analysis withfinding obtained from selective focus group discussions. Findings from thestudy indicated that more than half of the women studied experienceddomestic violence The highest type of violence experienced by thesewomen was psychological violence and the highest percentage in form ofabuse was verbal abuse such as name calling, classified as bad girl/women,criticized, false allegation, trying to be murdered, undermining, andthreaten to be divorced. Husbands were the highest percentage as abusers,and the highest reason to abuse was due to household matters i.e. did notwork as instructed. The quantitative analysis revealed that age,socioeconomic condition, type of family, and marital satisfaction wassignificantly associated with domestic violence. This study suggested thatmedia campaign is one way to educate the community about health andsocial consequences of domestic violence, and create awareness andprevent domestic violence on women."

"Penelitian ini berisi tentang perlindungan perempuan korban KDRT pada masa pandemi Covid-19 dari disiplin Ilmu Kesejahteraan Sosial. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh peningkatan angka kasus kekerasan terhadap perempuan khususnya KDRT pada masa pandemi Covid-19. Keterbatasan ruang gerak serta menurunnya perekonomian menimbulkan frustasi bagi sebagian besar masyarakat yang dapat meningkatkan agresivitas. Perempuan sebagai kelompok rentan, memiliki potensi yang tinggi untuk menjadi korban kekerasan. Sehingga, urgensi dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat upaya perlindungan yang dilakukan oleh Komnas Perempuan sebagai Lembaga Nasional Hak Asasi Manusia dalam rangka mencegah dan menanggulangi kekerasan terhadap perempuan serta meningkatkan perlindungan dan kesejahteraan perempuan di Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan pada Mei 2022 hingga Oktober 2022 melalui studi literatur dan wawancara semi terstuktur pada lima informan dari Komnas Perempuan, LBH Apik Jakarta dan Yayasan Pulih. Kelima informan tersebut dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling sesuai dengan kriteria informan yang dibutuhkan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam melakukan upaya perlindungan perempuan korban KDRT pada masa pandemi Covid-19, Komnas Perempuan memberikan rekomendasi kebijakan ke berbagai lembaga pemerintah, melakukan layanan pengaduan dan rujukan serta melakukan Kampanye 16 HAKTP setiap tahunnya. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberi sumbangsih bagi program studi Ilmu Kesejahteraan Sosial khususnya dalam mata kuliah Perundang-undangan Sosial terkait dengan perlindungan sosial dan mata kuliah Kebijakan dan Perencanaan Sosial terkait dengan kebijakan sosial.

This research is about protection of women victims of domestic violence during the Covid-19 pandemic from the Social Welfare Science discipline. This research is motivated by an increase in the number of cases of violence against women, especially domestic violence during the Covid-19 pandemic. Space limitations as well as economic decline cause frustration for the majority of society which can increase aggressiveness. Women as a vulnerable group, have a high potential to become victims of violence. Therefore, the urgency of doing this research is to see the social advocacy efforts made by the National Commission on Violence Against Women as a National Human Rights Institution in order to prevent and cope with violence against women as well as increasing the protection of women in Indonesia. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive research design. Data collection was carried out from May 2022 to October 2022 through literature studies and semi-structured interviews with five informants from the National Commission on Violence Against Women, LBH Apik Jakarta and Yayasan Pulih. The five informants were selected using a purposive sampling technique according to the informant critetia needed in this research. This research showed that in doing protection of women victims of domestic violence during the Covid-19 pandemic, the National Commission on Violence Against Women provide policy recommendations to various government institutions, carry out complaint and referral services as well as doing 16 HAKTP Campaign every year. The results of this research are expected to be able to contribute in Social Welfare Science study program especially in social law course related to social protection and social policy and planning courses related to social policies."

"Kekerasan terhadap perempuan pekerja rumah tangga merupakan kekerasan yang terjadi di ranah publik. Kekerasan terhadap perempuan tidak hanya terjadi di kehidupan nyata, tetapi juga terjadi di media sosial. Melalui media sosial, perempuan pekerja rumah tangga dijadikan sebagai sebuah komoditas yang dieksploitasi untuk meraih lebih banyak penonton. Adapun kekerasan yang terjadi terhadap perempuan pekerja rumah tangga di media sosial ditunjukkan melalui visualisasi dan dialog dalam Web Series Pembantu Masa Gitu. Web Series Pembantu Masa Gitu merupakan web series dalam format film pendek yang dibuat oleh Studio Z. Web Series Pembantu Masa Gitu menampilkan viktimisasi primer terhadap tokoh perempuan pekerja rumah tangga dan memberikan representasi yang tidak sesuai dengan kenyataan mengenai perempuan pekerja rumah tangga. Dengan menggunakan metode analisis konten atau isi kualitatif yang dikaitkan dengan kriminologi visual, hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa tokoh perempuan pekerja rumah tangga menerima pelecehan seksual di tempat kerja, objektifikasi seksual, dan stereotip gender. Teori feminis radikal kemudian digunakan untuk melihat patriarki sebagai penyebab utama dari penderitaan yang dialami oleh perempuan pekerja rumah tangga. Web Series Pembantu Masa Gitu dijadikan sebagai sebuah alat propaganda untuk Studio Z menyebarluaskan sistem patriarki melalui media sosial. Pada akhirnya, visualisasi kekerasan terhadap perempuan pekerja rumah tangga yang secara terangterangan ditampilkan di dalam Web Series Pembantu Masa Gitu menunjukkan bahwa Studio Z berusaha untuk menjustifikasi patriarki dan melanggengkan kekerasan terhadap perempuan pekerja rumah tangga.

Violence against women domestic workers is violence that occurs in the public sphere. Violence against women does not only occur in real life, but also occurs on social media. Through social media, women domestic workers are used as a commodity to be exploited to reach a wider audience. The violence that occurs against women domestic workers on social media is shown through visualization and dialogue in the Web Series Pembantu Masa Gitu. The Web Series Pembantu Masa Gitu is a web series in short film format made by Studio Z. The Web Series Pembantu Masa Gitu presents the primary victimization of women domestic workers and provides a representation that is not in accordance with the reality of women domestic workers. By using the method of content analysis or qualitative content associated with visual criminology, the results of the analysis show that women domestic workers receive sexual harassment in the workplace, sexual objectification, and gender stereotypes. Radical feminist theory is then used to see patriarchy as the main cause of the suffering experienced by women domestic workers. Web Series Pembantu Masa Gitu is used as a propaganda tool for Studio Z to disseminate the patriarchal system through social media. In the end, the visualization of violence against women domestic workers that is openly displayed in the Web Series Pembantu Masa Gitu shows that Studio Z is trying to justify patriarchy and perpetuate violence against women domestic workers."
