Scabies is a skin disease caused by infestation of S. scabiei var. hominis and the prevalence is high in population who has unhygienic and unhealthy behavior. To form a hygienic behavior and healthy behavior in each individual, the knowledge related to diseases which often occur in population is needed.
Thus, this study focus on determining the level of knowledge related to transmission of scabies in X boarding school students in East Jakarta correlated with demographic factor so the output can be used to determine which factor should be focused in the next counseling. The study was conducted in East Jakarta boarding X in cross-sectional design. Data collection is held on January 22, 2011 by giving questionnaires to 154 students who had previously given informed consent. The questionnaire contains questions about the media and risk factors of scabies transmission.
The results showed that the most sudentshave low score (64.9%). Bivariate analysis between level of knowledge of scabies transmissionand demographicfactor, information sources quantity and most liked information sources yield p values> 0.05. This concludes that there was no relationship between the level of knowledge in scabies transmission with demographic factors, information resources quantity and most liked information resources. It is recommended that the next counseling shouldbe done to all of students without considering the differences in demographic factors, resources quantitiy and resources which students liked most.

"Cross-Cultural Analysis is the sequel to Culture's Consequences, the classic work published by Geert Hofstede, one of the most influential management thinkers in today's times. Hofstede's original work introduced a new research paradigm in cross-cultural analysis: studying cultural differences through nation-level dimensions (complex variables defined by intercorrelated items). This paradigm has been subsequently used by hundreds of prominent scholars all over the world and has produced solid results. This new text takes the next step: It critically examines in one comprehensive volume the current, prevalent approaches to cross-cultural analysis at the level of nations that have been developed since Hofstede's work, offering students and researchers the theoretical and practical advantages and potential pitfalls of each method. The book is structured into four distinct parts. Parts I and II focus on the main theoretical and statistical issues in cross-cultural analysis using Hofstede's approach and the different research methods now associated with it. Part II consists of presentations of all well-known (and some lesser known) large-scale cross-cultural studies since Hofstede's work that have explained cross-cultural variation in terms of dimensional models. Part III summarizes the main conclusions to be drawn from the presentations in Part II and l explains how the proposed models have contributed to our practical understanding of cross-cultural diversity"

"[This project is unique in the field for a number of reasons, both in structure and in content. Specifically, it will have leading experts on specific age groups (Childhood to Adolescence, Young Adulthood to Middle Age, and The Elderly) within the cultural groups of interest (European-Americans, African-Americans, Asian-Americans, Hispanic-Americans, and Native Americans) contribute a chapter covering current research on both positive and negative functioning for each population. Each chapter will present basic demographic information, strengths that contribute to resilience, and three significant challenges each group faces to maintaining mental health. Each chapter will then include an integrative section, where ideas are advanced about how the strengths of each group can be harnessed to address the challenges that group faces. To conclude, each chapter will propose future directions for research which addresses integrative approaches to mental health for each group, and the implications that such approaches could have for future treatment. The main points of each section of each chapter will be visually summarized in a concluding table., This project is unique in the field for a number of reasons, both in structure and in content.
