"ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui daya prediksi skor Tes Seleksi Penerimaan Siswa Baru (TSPSB) MTSN Model Meulaboh I Kabupaten Aceh Barat tahun 2008 terhadap Tes Prestasi prestasi Belajar pada empat mata pelajaran yaitu Matematika, Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam, Bahasa Indonesia, dan Bahasa Inggris. Jumlah populasi dan sampel 212 siswa kelas VII angkatan 2008/2009 Data diperoleh dari dokumentasi lembar jawaban siswa yang telah mengikuti tes seleksi masuk dan lembar jawaban siswa pada empat mata pelajaran tersebut yang mengikuti Ujian Semester I. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier sederhana. Hasıl yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa kualitas butir soal dari kedua paket tes tersebut dapat dikategorikan baik serta daya prediktif naskah soal tes seleksi penerimaan siswa baru MTSN Model Meulaboh - tahun 2008 untuk meramalkan prestasi belajar juga termasuk baik (hubungan signifikan) pada taraf signifikansi 0,05.

ABSTRACT
This research investigates the predictive validity of the entrance selection test of MTSN Model Meulaboh - I West Aceh in 2008 toward the achievement tes on four subject which are Math, Sains, Indonesian and English language. The population and sample consists of 212 seventh grade students in 2008 academic year. Data were taken from the official documents. It was in the form of the answer sheet student that has followed the tes, both the entrance selection and achievement tes. All the data processed by linear regression analysis. The result shows that the characteristic items of the two tes are good and the predictive validity of the test is good (the correlation is significant)."

"A phenomenon of educational problem especially in Public Senior High School I Membalong is there is no fulfillment of eight national standard of education. School principal, teachers, administrator staffs, students, school committee, and school supervisor have the role to implement the quality improvement program continuously through the utilization of school self evaluation to achieve the national standard of education.
This thesis discusses about the utilization of school self evaluation at Public Senior High School I Membalong Belitung Regency using qualitative method through Soft Systems Methodology (SSM) approach.
The result of the study suggested that school self evaluation at Public Senior High School I Membalong hat to be utilized to develop quality improvement program continuously by involving all stakeholders to create satisfaction of customer.
