"ABSTRAK
The internationalization of higher education over the last two decades has transformed the education sector into a globalized, interconnected knowledge based society. Higher education institutions and national governments have been compelled to pay more attention to academic relations and knowledge exchange opportunities with partners in other countries, particularly in the same region. The current study aims to investigate the role of higher education internationalization in Southeast Asian nations ASEAN for the development of a more harmonized region. Previous research has revealed that less developed countries in the ASEAN region are far behind in the race to globalization and transformation of the education industry. Therefore, it is crucial to explore the policies and strategies enacted by the ASEAN administration and determine what it lacks to achieve this goal. An exploratory comparative approach has been used to identify and investigate recent internationalization trends in ASEAN member countries. The internationalization of higher education is a compelling and logical approach to increasing harmonization at the intra regional and interregional levels."

"This book summarises the history of the human right to water and examines its main content and the obligations that derive from this right. The main purpose of the recognition of the human right to water is to guarantee to everyone access to sufficient, safe and affordable drinking water to satisfy personal and domestic uses. This book discusses whether the human right to water is recognised as a derivative right or as an independent right at three levels - at universal, regional and domestic - where human rights are recognised and enforced. At the domestic level a case study approach has been used with focus on Argentina, Bolivia, Chile and Colombia.Freshwater resources are not static; they are constantly flowing and crossing international boundaries. This situation and the relative scarcity of water resources have a direct impact on a state's capacity to realise the human right to water. The human right to water is examined in a transboundary water context, where the use and management of an international watercourse in one riparian state can directly or indirectly affect the human right to water in another riparian state. For this reason, this book analyses whether the core principles of international water law can be used to contribute to the realisation of the extraterritorial application of the right to water."

"ABSTRACT
As the largest nation with an Islamic population, Indonesia is also home to an intellectual tradition that has received, preserved and cultivated the Platonic-Aristotelean philosophy, the seedbed of Western Philosophical tradition. Along with Hinduism, Buddhism and other religious traditions, we must not forget the enormous influence of the hard working Chinese traders in Indonesia and in the ASEAN who are inspired by Confucian ethics. The main features of these great Asiatic philosophical traditions blend within the context of our malay-polynesian linguistic sensibilities and our colonial encounter with the West. It shows that despite our differences, there are many commonalities that confirm the parallel structure of humanity's great depositories of wisdom and the basic neurological structure of all human beings."

The World Trade Organization (WTO) is an organization that almost covers all regulations.however, the important part of the trade is regulated in the Regional Trade Agremeent (RTA). The RTA between EFTA-Indonesia raises question of whether will the agreement establish trade more liberal and consider what are underlying it. The reseach method is normatively fulfilled to review the subject. The research is supported by prescriptive feature and also the data is deductively analyzed. The result of the research reveal the fact that the agreement would establish trade more liberal if it refers to tariff concessions. But, it tends to create trading more difficult than before. Based on the fact, it can be seen while negotiating the agreement, Indonesia didnot consider the economic aspects if examined according to the balance of payment to specific HS code. Thus, political considerations are the main reason why Indonesia negotiates RTAs to EFTA. The prescriptions that can be given in relations to the agreement is economic considerations should be priory preferred. Refers to the trade balance in which Indonesia has a comparative advantage over to potential partners in the next RTA."
