"ABSTRAKPenelitian ini mengkaji pola hasil terjemahan frasa nominal posesif Bahasa Inggris BI ke BJ pada GT. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif-kualitatif. Data pada penelitian ini adalah frasa nominal posesif BJ yang merupakan hasil terjemahan dari BI pada GT. Langkah awal yang dilakukan adalah mengumpulkan bahan berupa nomina BI, kemudian membentuknya menjadi frasa nominal posesif BI, lalu dilakukan uji coba penerjemahan pada mesin. Frasa nominal BI tersebut merupakan hasil penggabungan dari penentu posesif BI deteriminer dan nomina inti head . Hasil terjemahan tersebut kemudian dianalisis berdasarkan perbandingan dengan kaidah baku BJ. Analisis difokuskan pada dua hal, yakni pola konstruksi dan hasil terjemahan pronomina posesif BI. Dilihat dari bentuk konstruksi, hasil terjemahan frasa nominal posesif BI ke BJ dapat berupa kata monomorfemis, kata polimorfemis dan frasa. Berdasarkan data, hasil terjemahan pronomina posesif BI ke BJ dalam GT yang tidak sesuai dengan kaidah BJ dapat berupa: a pronomina persona bahasa Indonesia, b pronomina demonstratif BJ, c kata sandang BJ, dan d bentuk lain.

ABSTRACTThis research aims to discuss the translation pattern of possessive nouns phrases from English EN into Javanese JV generated by Google Translate GT . This research employs qualitative descriptive method. The data used in the research are the phrases of Javanese possessive nouns that are translated from EN using GT. The research is initialized by gathering EN nouns, then converting the nouns into EN possessive nouns phrases, and then put the phrases on the machine to test the translation result. The EN noun phrases are constructed from the combination of an EN possessive determiner and a noun head. The result of the translation is analyzed by comparing it with the general linguistic rules of JV. The analysis focuses on two things the pattern construction and the translation of EN possessive pronouns. Identified from its forms of construction, the translation of possessive noun phrases from EN into JV can appear in the form of monomorpheme, polymorpheme, and phrase. Based on the data, the translation results of possessive pronouns from EN into JV using GT that do not comply the JV linguistic rules comprise the errors in the production of a Indonesian personal pronouns, b JV demonstrative pronouns, c JV article, and d other forms. "Sistem mesin penerjemahan saat digunakan dakam konteks komersial harus melalui proses post-editing. Post-editing adalah kegiatan yang harus dilakukan untuk memaksimalkan penggunaan sistem mesin penerjemahan. Post-editing yang dilakukan oleh manusia bertujuan untuk membuat teks terjemahan mesin memiliki kualitas yang sama seperti teks hasil penerjemahan manusia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meninjau teks hasil post-editing dan menganalisis kesepadanan dan ketidaksepadanan yang dihasilkan oleh mesin penerjemahan, serta melihat strategi post-editing yang digunakan selama kegiatan post-editing. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif untuk menganalisis data dan memperoleh hasil dari kegiatan post-editing. Kualitas mesin penerjemaan dan tipe kesalahan yang berbeda dan ketidaksepadanan akan memengaruhi kegiatan post-editing. Masalah ketidaksepadanan, pembalikan makna, dan struktur menjadi dasar dari kegiatan post-editing. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa beberapa faktor seperti struktur kalimat, penggunaan istilah khusus, dan kesalahan mesin penerjemahan berdampak dalam kegiatan post-editing. Temuan dari penelitian ini akan berkontribusi dalam pengembangan sistem mesin penerjemahan yang lebih baik dalam industri penerjemahan dan juga pengembangan kemampuan dan strategi post-editor.

Machine translation systems, when they are used in a commercial context for publishing purposes, are usually used in combination with human post editing. Post editing is crucial to maximize the benefit of machine translation systems. When the post editing behavior is conducted, there should be no difference in quality between human translation and post edited translation. This study observes the post editor rsquo s work and examines the effect of the post editing strategies made during post editing. A method approach was employed to qualitatively analyze the data and gain detailed into the post editing activity. Post editing effort are influenced by machine translation quality, but that different error types affect different post editing effort and confirming that a more fine grained MT quality analysis is needed to correctly estimate actual post editing effort. Non equivalence, meaning shifts, and structural issues are shown to be good indicators of post editing effort. The results indicate that a number of factor such as sentence structure, use of product specific terms, and the impact of machine translation errors, have effect on the amount of post editing effort. The findings will contribute to a better use of machine translation systems in the industry as well as the development of the skills and strategies of the post editors."

"Pada era teknologi informasi saat ini, penerjemahan menjadi bidang yang sangat dibutuhkan khususnya penerjemahan dalam bentuk takarir. Penerjemahan takarir terutama dalam media sosial YouTube mempunyai tantangan tersendiri bagi para penerjemah. Penelitian ini membahas strategi dan pedoman teknis penerjemahan takarir yang terdapat dalam kanal YouTube Histori Bersama dengan data berupa video dalam Bahasa Belanda dan takarir dalam Bahasa Indonesia. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan teori strategi penerjemahan takarir milik Gottlieb (1992) dan pedoman teknis penerjemahan takarir milik D'az Cintas dan Remael (2020). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pedoman teknis penerjemahan takarir memiliki pengaruh terhadap penerapan strategi penerjemahan takarir. Dari penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa strategi yang paling banyak diterapkan adalah strategi transfer. Sementara itu, terkait pedoman teknis ditemukan banyak takarir yang tingkat keterbacaannya kurang karena harus menyelaraskan dengan kecepatan tempo berbicara penutur.

In the current era of information technology, translation has become a much-needed field, especially translation in the form of subtitles. Translating subtitles, especially on YouTube, has its challenges for translators. This study discusses the strategies and technical guidelines for translating subtitles in the Histori Bersama YouTube channel with data in the form of videos in Dutch and subtitles in Indonesian. This study uses Gottlieb's (1992) theory of subtitle translation strategies and Díaz Cintas and Remael's (2020) subtitle translation technical guidelines. The study results indicate that the technical guidelines for subtitle translation influence the implementation of the subtitle translation strategy. This study also results that the transfer strategy was the most widely applied one. Meanwhile, related to technical guidelines, many subtitles had a low level of legibility because they had to match the speed of the speaker's speaking tempo."
