"One of the Javanese?s highest cultures is the creation of cultural wisdom that conveys the concept of fairness asexpressed in propositions as well as cultural expressions. This research aims to revive the memories of Javanese culturalwisdom especially those related to fairness. Based on the propositions, the objective of this research is to identify theconcept of fairness behavior in Javanese culture. This research is qualitative. The data were collected from text booksand literary texts validated by in-depth interviews as well as forum group discussions. The data corpuses were analyzedby using componential and taxonomic analysis. Through semantic and pragmatic analysis, the fairness concept inJavanese culture can be identified. Bisa ngrumangsani is the main principle of fairness in Javanese propositions andcovers two sub-ordinates propositions, i.e. self-restraint and appreciation for others. Each of these two sub-ordinatepropositions covers four sub-ordinate propositions referring to action, character, desire, and competence. All of thesepropositions are sustained by the other proposition creating a whole concept of fairness. The results of this research areexpected to serve as groundwork on how the education of national character building relating to fairness behavior canbe realized."

"Salah satu penyebab konflik dalam berbagai bidang kehidupan adalah keadilan (Van den Bos, 2003). Konflik keluarga yang tidak terselesaikan dengan baik dapat menimbulkan perilaku anti sosial, ketidakdewasaan dan tingkat percaya diri yang rendah pada remaja (Montemayor dalam Rice, 1990). Karena itu, penelitian ini ingin mengetahui hubungan antara persepsi fairness dan konflik antara remaja akhir dengan orang tua. Melalui penelitian ini diharapkan orang tua maupun remaja dapat mempunyai pengetahuan yang memadai mengenai penyebab konflik, sehingga dapat menghindari terjadinya efek negatif dari konflik yang tidak terselesaikan dengan baik. Penelitian dengan tipe ex post facto field study ini, melibatkan 110 responden remaja akhir yang sedang berkuliah, bukan anak tunggal dan tinggal di wilayah Jabodetabek. Data diambil dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang terdiri dari dua skala. Skala pertama adalah skala untuk mengukur intensitas konflik antara orang tua dan anak yang berisi 28 item pernyataan. Skala kedua merupakan skala untuk mengukur persepsi fairness responden yang terdiri dari 37 item pernyataan. Hubungan antara kedua variabel diketahui melalui tes Pearson. Hasilnya, tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara persepsi fairness dengan konflik.

One of major cause of conflict in everyday life is justice. Family conflicts that do not resolved well can cause antisocial behavior, immatureness, and low self esteem in adolescent (Montemayor in Rice, 1990). This research aims to find out the relationship between perceived fairness and conflict with parents in late adolescent. In hope that both of the parents as well as the adolescence can have proper knowledge of conflict causes to avoid negative effects of poorly resolved conflict.

This ex post facto field study involved 110 late adolescence. All of respondent are attending college, not the only child in the family and live in Jabodetabek area. To acquire data, researcher uses a questioner consist of two scale. The first scale use to measure conflict intensity between respondent and their parents consists of 28 items. The second scale use to measure perceived fairness consists of 37 items. Pearson test is used to measure the relationship between conflict and perceived fairness. The result is no significant connection between the two variables."

"Kelahiran anak berkebutuhan khusus (ABK) dalam keluarga memberikan tuntutan yang lebih berat kepada orang tua. Kedua orang tua harus beradaptasi dengan beban pengasuhan dan perawatan ABK yang intens, belum lagi sebagai pasangan yang sudah menikah setiap hari harus berhadapan dengan pekerjaan rumah tangga. Beban pengasuhan yang berat dan adanya pekerjaan rumah tangga mengarah pada terjadinya stress dan bisa berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan pernikahan. Persepsi individu terhadap keadilan pembagian pekerjaan rumah tangga dan pengasuhan anak juga berpengaruh pada tingkat kepuasan pernikahanya. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari tahu hubungan antara perceived fairness dan kepuasan pernikahan pada orang tua ABK. Penelitian ini diikuti oleh 146 orang tua ABK (suami atau istri) yang menjalani pernikahan pertama dan tinggal serumah bersama pasangannya dengan proporsi partisipan perempuan sebanyak 61,6% dan partisipan laki-laki sebanyak 38,4% . Partisipan diambil dengan teknik convenience sampling melalui penyebaran kuesioner secara online dan offline ke berbagai komunitas orang tua dengan ABK dan Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB). Data dianalisis menggunakan Pearson Product Moment dan hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan dan positif antara perceived fairness dan kepuasan pernikahan pada orang tua ABK.

The birth of a child with special needs in the family gives more weight to the parents. Both parents have to adapt to the intense burden of parenting and care for the special needs child. Not only that, as a married couple, they have to deal with household chores every day. Heavy parenting burden and household chores can cause stress and affect marital satisfaction. Individual perceptions of the fairness in the division of household chores and child care also affect the level of marital satisfaction. Therefore, this study aims to find out the relationship between perceived fairness and marital satisfaction in parents of children with special needs. This study was followed by 146 parents of special needs children who are having their first marriage and live at home together with their spouse, with the proportion of female participants being 61.6% and male participants being 38.4%. Participants was taken using a convenience sampling technique by distributing online and offline quesionnaires to various communities of parents with special needs and Speacial Needs Schools. Data were analyzed using Pearson Product Moment and the results of the analysis show that there is a significant and positive relationship between perceived fairness and marital satisfaction in parents of children with special needs. "

"Studi pada keadilan organisasi telah menjadi topik yang populer selama beberapa tahun terakhir. Akan tetapi, penelitian terakhir menunjukkan bahwa hubungan yang tidak jelas antara keadilan prosedural dan kinerja. Tujuan dari tesis ini adalah untuk menjelaskan hubungan antara keadilan prosedural dan kinerja menggunakan perilaku kewarganegaraan organisasi (OCB) sebagai variabel perantara dengan meninjau literatur yang tersedia. Telah ditemukan bahwa keadilan prosedural mempengaruhi kinerja secara positif. Selain itu, keadilan prosedural juga terkait secara positif terhadap perilaku kewarganegaraan, akan tetapi tampaknya keadilan prosedural telah gagal untuk memperkirakan moral kemasyarakatan sebagai salah satu dimensi dari OCB. Terakhir, OCB terkait secara positif dengan kinerja. Kesimpulannya, OCB memperantarai hubungan antara keadilan prosedural dan kinerja secara parsial.

The study of organizational justice has been a popular topic over the past few years. However, past research indicated that the relationship between procedural justice and performance is unclear. The purpose of this thesis is to clarify the relationship between procedural justice and performance using organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) as the mediating variable by reviewing available literature. It is found that procedural justice affects performance positively. Moreover, procedural justice also positively related to citizenship behavior however, it seems that procedural justice has failed to predict civic virtue as one of the dimension of OCB. Lastly, OCB is also positively related to performance. In conclusion, OCB partially mediates the relationship between procedural justice and performance."
