"[Penelitian ini membahas mengenai peran badan usaha milik negara (BUMN) dalam penyelenggaraan pelayanan publik di Indonesia. Peran BUMN tersebut dikategorikan ke dalam penyedia barang atau jasa publik. Selain itu, di dalampenelitian ini juga dibahas mengenai peran hukum dalam pelaksanaan standar pelayanan publik BUMN melalui Undang-Undang Nomor 25 Tahun 2009 tentang Pelayanan Publik. Skripsi yang dibuat menggunakan metode yuridis normatif ini menganalisa mengenai komponen-komponen yang ada di dalam standar pelayanan publik badan usaha milik negara.

"Good governance is efforts to manage economic and social resources transparently, accountably, and anticipatively involving the state, industry, and society sectors. Implementation of the principles of transparency and accountability will support each element of good government to manage nation well. By doing so, each decision state administrative court can be accountable for the public and the law. Te government (central and provincial level) should encourage industries and communities in every policy and effort to advance the societies. The implementation of good governance is a must, not just a trend in international relationship. "Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mengevaluasi proses restrukturisasi birokrasi yang dilaksanakan oleh Pemerintah Kabupaten Tangerang dalam kaitannya dengan pengembangan Good Governance di tingkat lokal khususnya dilihat dari aspek kompetensi administrasi, transparansi dan efisiensi dari Birokrasi Pemerintah Daerah.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif analitis, yaitu mengumpulkan informasi mengenai status gejala yang ada, yaitu keadaan gejala menurut apa adanya pada saat penelitian dilakukan.Disimpulkan bahwa restrukturisasi birokrasi yang dilaksanakan oleh Pemerintah Daerah ternyata belum mengarah pada pengembangan good governance, karena hanya dalam proses restrukturisasi birokrasi dan aspek kompetensi lembaga saja yang sudah mengarah kepada Good Governance, untuk kompetensi personil, transparansi dan efisiensi ternyata belum terakomodasi.

The research aims to know and to evaluate the bureaucratic restructuring process carried out by the Government of Tangerang Regency in relation to the development of Good Governance in local level, particularly viewed from the aspects of administrative competence, transparency and efficiency of the Local Government Bureaucracy.The method used in this study is a descriptive analysis, which collects information about the status of existing symptoms, the symptoms according to what the circumstances when the study was conducted.It was concluded that the restructuring of the bureaucracy that implemented by the local government has yet to lead to the development of good governance, as it is only in the process of restructuring the bureaucracy and aspects of competence of the institutions are already leading to good governance, for personnel competence, transparency and efficiency had not yet accommodated."

"ABSTRAK This study aims to review capital structure and the implementation of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) toward Islamic Banking performance in Indonesia. The research results can be depicted that the capital structure and corporate governance has been running well. Slowing Islamic banking is dominated by external economic slowdown that occurred in Indonesia. However, main sources of Islamic bank capital are core capital (core capital) which comes from the owners of the banks and quasi equity. When the world financial crisis and the shareholders take their share of Islamic banks then certainly slowing global political factor because it is Identic with the capitalist and the capital structure of Islamic banks is still not much yet as the conventional banking which is inherently present in this global world."

"Tesis ini membahas mengenai sejauh mana peran Pemegang Saham dalam hal ini Kementerian BUMN dalam pelaksanaan prinsip-prinsip Good Corporate Governance pada BUMN sektor asuransi yang mendorong peningkatan nilai perusahaan dan menciptakan kondisi yang memacu organ perusahaan lainnya yaitu Dewan Komisaris dan Direksi untuk lebih meningkatkan perannya dalam implementasi prinsip-prinsip Good Corporate Governance. Perlu peningkatan peran Pemegang Saham melalui upaya penetapan keputusan dan kebijakan yang konsisten dengan peraturan perundang-undangan yang berlaku terkait BUMN. Manfaat yang diharapkan dari penerapan Good Corporate Governance adalah terciptanya iklim kerja yang kondusif karena adanya kesadaran dan pemahaman mengenai fungsi dan peran, wewenang serta tanggung jawab dari masing-masing organ perusahaan. Hasil penerapan prinsip-prinsip Good Corporate Governance tercermin dengan meningkatnya nilai dan kinerja BUMN.

This thesis discusses the extent to which the role of shareholders in this case the Ministry of SOEs in the implementation of the principles of good corporate governance in state-owned insurance sector is driving increased value of the company and create the conditions that spur other companies organs to further enhance its role in implementation of the principles of Good Corporate Governance. Shareholders need to increase the role of decision-making through the efforts and policies that are consistent with the legislation in force related to SOE. The benefits expected from the implementation of good corporate governance is the creation of conducive working environment because of lack of awareness and understanding of the functions and roles, powers and responsibilities of each organ of the company. The results of the application of the principles of good corporate governance is reflected in the increased value and performance of SOEs.
