"ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini merupakan suatu studi analitis yang menggunakan data primer yang dilaksanakan pada bulan Desember 1998. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan pola makan siswi SMEA Yapan Indonesia di Kecamatan Sawangan Kabupaten DT II Bogor. Pengolahan data secara statistik dilakukan terhadap 261 siswi yang berusia 14-21 tahun dengan menggunakan SPSS-PC Package. Uji Chi Square digunakan untuk meliliat hubungaii dua variabel, yakni antara variabel tingkat sosial ekonomi termasuk pendidikan Ibu siswi dan pendapatan orang tua, pengetahuan gizi siswi dan pengetahuan gizi lbu siswi, sikap siswi dan sikap ibu siswi terhadap makanan bergizi, dengan variabel Pola makan siswi. Perbedaan hasil uji tersebut bermakna bila nilai p < 0,05.
Diperoleh hasil bahwa 64,8 % responder mempunyai pola makan yang baik. Hanya variabel Pengetahuan lbu siswi yang berhubungan dengan pola makan siswi secara bermakna pada p < 0,05. Variabel lainnya yakni tingkat sosial ekonomi termasuk tingkat pendidikan Ibu siswi, pendapatan orang tua, pengetahuan gizi siswi, serta sikap Siswi dan sikap Ibu siswi terhadap makanan bergizi ternyata secara statistik tidak menunjukkan hubungan yang bermakna (p>0,05).
Disarankan kepada Pengelola Program Kesehatan dan Program Pendidikan agar diberikan penyuluhan gizi terutama melalui kelompok Ibu, melalui penjaja makanan di warung sekolah dan media-media lainnya. Penyuluhan gizi pada siswi selain dalam bentuk pelajaran juga diberikan secara ekstrakurikuler misalnya berkemah, dll Untuk penelitian lebih lanjut sebaiknya dengan metode obseivasi partisipatif agar diperaleh data yang lebih berkualitas.

ABSTRACT
survey was carried out in December 1998 to study the meal pattern of adolescent girls in SMEA Yapan, high school students in Sawangan - Bogor district. A cross-sectional study involving a sample of 261 students aged 14 to 21 years. The aim of this study is to investigate the meal pattern of adolescent girl and factors associated with it, such as socio-economic status, mothers education, knowledge about nutrition of adolescent girls and their mother, attitude of adolescent girls and their mother to the nutritive food was investigated. The statistical analysis was done using the SPSS-PC statistical package. The Chi-Square was used for the statistical association between two variables in relation to the meal pattern. The difference was considered statistically significant when p-value was less than 0,05. The logistic regression was used to estimate of several variables on food consumption pattern holding others variables constant.
The study found that 64, 8 % of respondents have a good meal pattern. There was a significant correlation between the mothers' knowledge about nutrition and the girls? meal pattern (p < 0,05). The other variables such as social-economic status included the education of the students' mother and the income of the parents, the knowledge of nutrition of the students, and the attitudes of the students and their mother to the good nutritive food, were no significant correlation (p >0,05).
A nutrition education programmed to promote healthy balanced diet and to reduce negative foods beliefs and negative food habits is urgently needed for house﷓wives, through the managers of the canteen in the school, and another medias. Nutrition education for girl students is better by extra curriculum.. For the next nutrition survey it is better with observative participation methods to get the better data quality.
