"Africa is commonly perceived as a global growth region and a continent on the move, with a huge demand for managerial skills to ensure sustainable economic growth. In order to gain a comprehensive understanding of the challenges to management education development in Africa, it is important to understand the diverse cultures, histories and contexts underlying the 54 member states. With this is mind, this book explores the future of management education, considering the differing scenarios for change and the practical realities of developing management education in VUCA (volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous) environments.This book, written with strong support from the EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development) and the GMAC (Graduate Management Admission Council), aimed at understanding and examining the challenges of developing management education across Africa. The authors, through a fine-tuned, face-to-face interview process, explore the perspectives and interactions between management educators and other business and government stakeholders as they look to the future of management education in Africa. "Meski literatur bisnis internasional telah menemukan pentingnya pengaruh pemerintah negara asal dalam internasionalisasi pasar negara berkembang, hanya ada sedikit penelitian tentang pengaruh pemerintah terhadap wilayah Asia Tenggara, terutama Indonesia. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi kekurangan ini dengan mengamati apakah investasi luar negeri perusahaan Indonesia dapat dipengaruhi oleh pemerintah. Studi ini juga berargumen bahwa kemampuan perusahaan dapat memoderasi hubungan ini. Kami menggunakan beberapa metode penelitian dan menemukan dampak dari hubungan antara kepemilikan pemerintah dan investasi luar negeri. Namun, dampak tersebut tidak signifikan. Penelitian lebih lanjut dapat mengkaji masalah ini dengan lebih seksama untuk menemukan bukti yang lebih substansial.

Though International business literature found the urgency of the home country's government influence in emerging market internationalization, there is still a limited research about the government influences on the Southeast Asian region, especially Indonesia. This study tries to address this oversight by looking at whether Indonesian companies’s overseas investment could be influenced by the government. The study also argue that the firm capabilities could moderate this relationship. We carried out multiple methods and found an effect on the relationship between government ownership and overseas investment. Yet, it is insignificant. Future research could investigate this further to gather more substantial evidence."
