"Teks Sie Jin Kwie yang menjadi obyek dalam penelitian ini adalah teks drama Sie Jin Kwie yang dibuat oleh Nano Riantiarno berdasarkan novel Sie Jin Kwie Ceng Tang (Sie Jin Kwie Berperang ke Timur) karya Tio Keng Jian & Lok Dan Chung yang diterjemahkan oleh Marcus, A.S. pada tahun 1993. Penelitian ini akan membahas (1) bagaimana struktur naratif (sintaksis dan semantis) teks drama Sie Jin Kwie, (2) bagaimana konstruksi pahlawan yang ditampilkan melalui tokoh Sie Jin Kwie. Hasil Kajian semiotik ini berupa skema aktan yang memperlihatkan Sie Jin Kwie sebagai tokoh yang berperan sebagai subyek. Aktan yang berperan sebagai pendukung adalah Raja Liesibin yang melihat Sie Jin Kwie dalam mimpi sebagai pahlawan. Adapun aktan yang menjadi penghambat adalah Lietocong-Thiosukwie dan Jenderal Kaesobun. Konstruksi pahlawan yang dibangun untuk cerita kepahlawanan Sie Jin Kwie tidak hanya dibangun oleh sifat-sifat alami yang ada dalam dirinya, tetapi juga dibangun oleh bantuan dari tokoh-tokoh lain di luar dirinya (baik tokoh manusia maupun tokoh gaib dewa-dewi).

The text of the Sie Jin Kwie wich become object of this research is Sie Jin Kwie drama text by N. Riantiarno based on the novel Sie Jin Kwie Ceng Tang (Sie Jin Kwie Fought to The East) by Tio Keng Jian & Lok Dan Chung that translated by Marcus, A.S. in 1993. This research will explore: (1) how narrative structure (syntax and semantics) of Sie Jin Kwie drama text; (2) how the construction of the hero is shown through the character Sie Jin Kwie. These findings semantics was actant scheme which will be shown by Sie Jin Kwie who acted as a subject. The enabling actant was the King Liesibin who met Sie Jin Kwie as a hero in his dream. Where as, the enhibiting actants were Lietocong-Thiosukwie and General Kaesobun. The construction of the hero in a story of heroism is not only built by the properties of natural that exists in himself, but also built by the aid of others there out of itself (both human and supernatural figures of deities)."

"ABSTRAKSetiap masyarakat mempunyai figur atau sosok yang menjadi teladan dalam kehidupan. Pahlawan merupakan figur yang diimajinasikan sebagai seorang yang mempunyai kemampuan lebih dan jasa yang luar biasa sehingga masih tetap dikenang dan dijadikan teladan bagi generasi berikutnya. Indonesia merupakan negara yang mempunyai banyak Pahlawan Nasional. Penganugerahan gelar pahlawan melibatkan beberapa pihak, salah satunya adalah Tim Peneliti Pengkaji Gelar Pusat (TP2GP). Tim tersebut meneliti dan mengkaji calon pahlawan yang diusulkan melalui Kementerian Sosial. Sebagai tim independen, maka setiap anggota tim berhak menyampaikan penilaian maupun argumen pada saat sidang pembahasan calon Pahlawan Nasional. Penilaian terhadap calon pahlawan lahir dari sebuah proses negosiasi dan kekuasaan. Pahlawan Nasional menjadi simbol identitas bangsa. Pahlawan Nasional juga menjadi memori kolektif bangsa. Keberadaan Pahlawan tidak bisa lepas dari sejarah, nasionalisme, negosiasi, dan kekuasaan. Sering dikatakan bahwa negara yang menentukan pahlawan. Negara tidak seharusnya dipahami sebagai bentuk kekuasaan yang kaku sehingga bisa menentukan apa saja. Sekelompok orang yang dianggap ahli dibidangnya turut mempengaruhi keputusan gelar Pahlawan Nasional.

ABSTRACT

Every society has a figure or personage as a model in life. Hero is a figure that is imagined as someone who has more capabilities and extraordinary merit that is still remembered and used as a model for the next generation. Indonesia is a country that has many National Heroes. Comferment of the title hero involves multiple sides, one of which is the Tim Peneliti Pengkaji Gelar Pusat (TP2GP). The team is researching and reviewing the proposed of the candidate of hero through the Ministry of Social. As an independent team, each member of the team can give an assessment and argument at debate of the candidates of National Hero. Assessment of the hero born from a process of negotiation and power. National Hero become a symbol of national identity. National Hero also become the nation?s collective memory. The existence of a National Hero can not be sparated from history, nationalism, negotiating, and power. State is often understood as a determinant of national hero. The state should not be understood as a form of power that rigid so that it can determine anything. A group of people who are considered experts in their fields also influence decisions of National Hero."

"Penelitian ini membahas mengenai penggambaran sosok kepahlawanan Kim Il Sung muda sebagai pendiri Korea Utara melalui cerpen berjudul Gaeseon yang ditulis oleh Han Sul Ya dan dipublikasikan pada tahun 1948. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan penggambaran sosok Kim Il Sung muda sebagai ?pahlawan? baru untuk masyarakat Korea sejak ia kembali ke Pyeongyang setelah dua puluh tahun berlalu. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan struktural untuk menganalisis unsur intrinsik cerpen Gaeseon dan teori fenomena pengkultusan individu untuk menjelaskan istilah-istilah kepahlawanan yang digunakan Han Sul Ya untuk menggambarkan kepahlawanan Kim Il Sung. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa cerpen Gaeseon merupakan cerpen propaganda untuk membangun citra Kim Il Sung di mata masyarakat Korea yang pada saat itu belum begitu mengenal sosoknya. Cerpen ini menggambarkan sosok Kim Il Sung sebagai pahlawan sekaligus pemimpin baru dengan begitu positif baik dari segi fisik, sifat, maupun pemikirannya tentang pembangunan negara.

This research analyzes the depiction of young Kim Il Sung?s heroic image as the founder of North Korea in a short-novel entitled Gaeseon written by North Korean writer, Han Sul Ya, in 1948. The purpose of this research is to describe the depiction of young Kim Il Sung?s image as a ?new hero? for Korean citizens since his homecoming to Pyeongyang after twenty years had passed. The method used in this thesis is qualitative-method with structural approach to analyze the intrinsic structures of Gaeseon and the theory of cult of personality?s phenomenon to describe the terms used by Han Sul Ya to depict the heroic image of Kim Il Sung. The result of the research is Gaeseon is used as a media of propaganda to build the heroic image of Kim Il Sung in front of Korean citizens which didn?t really know him very well around 1945?1950. This short-novel also describes Kim Il Sung as a ?hero? and a ?new leader? in a positive way from all aspects such as physical appeareance, characters, behavior, and his ideas about country development."

"Jurnal akademik ini berjudul “Representasi Heroisme Walter Süskind dalam Film Süskind”. Obyek penelitian yang dikaji berupa film Süskind dari Belanda yang menjadikan Holokaus pada Perang Dunia II sebagai latar cerita utama. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memperlihatkan bagaimana film Süskind merepresentasikan heroisme yang diangkat dari sejarah hidup dan upaya Walter Süskind dalam menyelamatkan ratusan anak-anak Yahudi dari program pembersihan etnis Yahudi oleh NAZI di Belanda melalui metode pengkajian analisis deskriptif dan memperlakukan film sebagai teks. Teori-teori yang digunakan di antaranya teori Representasi oleh Hall (2003) dan definisi Heroisme oleh Franco, Blau, dan Zimbardo (2011). Pencitraan heroisme muncul hampir di seluruh sekuens film dengan berbagai stimulus tindakan heroisme pada tokoh utama. Representasi nilai-nilai heroisme dari yang kecil hingga besar, tersirat maupun tersurat ditampilkan secara utuh dalam film lewat penokohan yang ada.

This academic journal titled "Representation of Heroism of Walter Süskind on Süskind The Film". The object that being examined is a Dutch movie named Suskind with the Holocaust in World War II as the background of the main story. The purpose of this research is to show how the film represents heroism from the biography and the efforts of Walter Suskind in saving hundreds of Jewish children from the of Jewish ethnic cleansing programme by the Nazis in the Netherlands through a descriptive analysis method and treat the film as a text. The theories being used are the Representation theory by Hall (2003) and the definition of Heroism by Franco, Blau, and Zimbardo (2011). The imaging of heroism emerge in almost all film sequences with various stimulii of heroism to the main character. Representation of the heroism values from small to large are implicitly and explicitly shown completely in the film through the existing characterizations."
