"Cross-Cultural Analysis is the sequel to Culture's Consequences, the classic work published by Geert Hofstede, one of the most influential management thinkers in today's times. Tradisi ini terjadi karena adanya identitas budaya yang dipertahankan oleh generasi pertama para imigran Turki. Mereka hanya mengizinkan anak-anak perempuan mereka menikah dengan lelaki keturunan Turki. Hal itu mereka lakukan karena mereka tidak ingin tradisi Turki yang telah mereka bawa dari negara asal mereka dan tercampur dengan tradisi orang Jerman yang menurut mereka dapat merusak identitas kelompoknya sebagai orang Turki.

This Eat Sugar and Speak Sweetly movie is an interpretation of Turkish Culture showing forced marriage tradition of Turkish immigrant in Germany. This tradition exists because of cultural identity that remains in the first generation of Turkish immigrant. They only allow the women to marry Turkish men. They do this thing because they don’t want the Turkish tradition that they brought from home to be mixed up with German culture that they think will ruin their Turkish culture."
