"Penelitian ini membahas penyelidikan black humour sebagai pengalaman estetis. Pada umumnya black humour hanya dianggap sebagai sesuatu yang sekedar menimbulkan tawa semata serta tidak dilihat sebagai sesuatu yang layak untuk dibahas dalam dunia akademis karena sifatnya yang dianggap hanya sebagai suatu yang `main-main` atau tidak serius. Jarang adanya penyelidikan filosofis terkait black humour, padahal black humour merupakan fenomena yang dekat dengan kehidupan manusia dan kita dapat menemukannya dimana-mana. Penulis melihat bahwa black humour memiliki makna yang lebih luas untuk digali secara filosofis. Pertanyaan yang ingin dijawab dalam penelitian ini diantaranya, apa definisi dari black humour dan bagaimana black humour dapat dikatakan sebagai pengalaman estetis. Untuk menjawab pertanyaan tersebut penulis menggunakan metode kualitatif berupa analisis kritis sebagai alat untuk menganalisis secara kritis pemikiran para pemikir yang tertuang di dalam beberapa sumber bacaan. Hasil analisis ditemukan bahwa black humour dapat menghasilkan pengalaman estetis yang unik bagi penikmatnya lewat penyajian suatu topik tabu yang dikemas dalam suatu lelucon dengan cara menentang logika berpikir umum, dimana pengalaman estetis yang ditimbulkan dapat  merangsang kita untuk memperkaya pandangan kita terhadap dunia.

This research examines about the investigation of black humour as aesthetic experience. In general, black humour is only regarded as something that causes laughter and is not seen as something that deserves to be discussed in the academic world because of its nature which is considered only as a "playful" or not serious. There is rarely a philosophical investigation related to black humour, even though black humour is a phenomenon that is close to human life and we can find it everywhere. The author sees that black humour has broader meaning to be explored philosophically. Questions to be answered in this study include, what is the definition of black humour and how black humour can be said to be aesthetic experience. To answer this question the writer uses qualitative methods in the form of critical analysis as a tool to critically analyze the thoughts of thinkers contained in several reading sources. The results of the analysis found that black humor can produce a unique aesthetic experience for the audience through the presentation of a taboo topic that is packaged in a joke by opposing the logic of general thinking, where the aesthetic experience that is generated can stimulate us to enrich views we are towards the world."

"ABSTRAKSkripsi ini membahas mengenai jarak estetis dalam konsep disinterested. Disinterested Jerome Stolnitz merupakan konsep memahami keindahan tanpa keterlibatan peran tujuan, motif, dan kebutuhan subjektif yang membawa diri pada pengalaman estetik yang apa adanya. Disinterested yang menjadi alat sekaligus konseptual berpikir digunakan untuk menghadirkan kembali konsep jarak antaraobjek persepsi dengan individu sebagai penikmat dalam memahami keindahan dan pengalaman estetiknya. Konsep disinterested Jerome stolnitz diperlukan untuk mengevaluasi pengalaman sekaligus objek estetik dalam proses memahami serta menilai keindahan dan produk di dalamnya yang berupa seni.

ABSTRACTThis Thesis discusses the aesthetic distance in the concept of disinterested. Disinterested concept by Jerome Stolnitz is the concept to understand beautywithout the role of an ends, motives, and personal attachments, leading us to experience something aesthetically. Disinterested which become the tools as well as conceptual thinking is used for bringing back the concept of distance betweenthe object of perception and the subject as spectator in the process of understanding beauty and their aesthetic experiences. This is required to evaluate aesthetic object and experience in the understanding and judging beauty and the art as the product of it."

"Humor pada dasarnya dipahami sebagai hal-hal lucu yang dapat membangkitkan rasa gembira dan memicu gelak tawa bagi setiap individu tanpa menyakiti perasaan individu lainnya, tetapi di sisi lain terdapat jenis humor yang justru bersifat offensive dan cenderung dapat menyakiti perasaan, humor seperti itu biasa dikenal dengan istilah Dark joke atau humor gelap. Mayoritas orang tidak menyukai jenis humor tersebut, karena cenderung bersifat kasar, tabu, dan melanggar norma-norma yang ada dalam kehidupan. Sigmund Freud yang merupakan seorang pendiri aliran Psikoanalisis melihat bahwa adanya keterkaitan antara humor dengan mimpi yang sama-sama dapat terbentuk dari keinginan terlarang yang terletak pada alam tidak sadar, yang sewaktu-waktu dapat muncul ke alam sadar. Melalui penelitian ini, penulis akan menggunakan metode kajian literatur dalam memperoleh sumber data yang terkait dengan tema penelitian, yakni dapat berupa buku, artikel, jurnal, karya ilmiah, dan sumber literatur lainnya. Lalu setelah itu penulis akan melakukan analisis kritis melalui pendekatan Estetika Psikoanalisis Sigmund Freud yang akan dikaitkan dengan Teori Humor Pelepasan dan Inkongruitas dalam upaya untuk menjelaskan keterkaitan antara humor dengan trauma yang terdapat pada alam tidak sadar. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa pengalaman traumatik yang pernah dialami oleh seseorang akan mempengaruhi selera humor mereka menjadi lebih gelap. Hal itu dikarenakan humor sebagai sebuah seni mampu berperan sebagai mekanisme koping dan katharsis terhadap emosi-emosi negatif yang ditimbulkan dari pengalaman traumatis yang pernah dialami.

Humor is basically understood as funny things that can arouse feelings of joy and trigger laughter without hurting each other, on the other hand there are types of humor that are actually offensive and tend to hurt each other, this humor is usually known as Dark joke or dark humor. Many people don't like this type of humor, because it tends to be rude, taboo and violates existing norms in life. Sigmund Freud, who was the founder of Psychoanalysis, saw that there was a connection between humor and dreams, which were both formed from forbidden desires in the unconscious, which at any time could emerge into the conscious. Through this research, the author will use the literature review method to obtain data sources related to the research theme, which can be books, journals, articles, scientific papers and other literature sources. After that the author will make a critical analysis through Sigmund Freud Psychoanalytic Aesthetic Theory which will be linked to the Humor Theory Relief and Incongruity with the intention to explain the relations between humor and trauma that exists in the unconscious. The results of this research found that the traumatic experiences in a person will influence their sense of humor to become darker. This is because humor as an art is able to act as a coping mechanism and catharsis for negative emotions which appear from traumatic experiences."
