"An updated and revised version of the bestselling The Leadership Pipeline - the critical resource for how companies can grow leaders from the inside. In business, leadership at every level is a requisite for company survival. Yet the leadership pipeline -the internal strategy to grow leaders - in many companies is dry or nonexistent. Drawing on their experiences at many Fortune 500 companies, the authors show how organizations can develop leadership at every level by identifying future leaders, assessing their corporate confidence, planning their development, and measuring their results. New to this edition is 65 pages of new material to update the model, share new stories and add new advice based on the ten more years of experience. The authors have also added a "Frequently Asked Questions" section to the end of each chapter."

"The objective of this series is to promote theory and research in the increasingly growing area of occupational stress, health and well being, and in the process, to bring together and showcase the work of the best researchers and theorists who contribute to this area. Our goal is to provide a multidisciplinary and international collection that gives a thorough and critical assessment of both knowledge and major gaps in knowledge. Volume 14 of Research in Occupational Stress and Well Being is focused on leadership. Through their actions and behaviors, leaders can positively, or negatively, influence the health, stress, and well being of their followers, and vice versa as well. This volume examines critical topics for a deeper understanding of the intersection of leadership, stress, and well being which include: a leader's dark personality, a leader's networks, workaholism, the role of leaders in helping employees with stress and mental health issues, followership, and a more holistic view of a leader's life at work and away from work, and the development of leaders. The topic of this volume, Leadership, is sure to attract the attention of researchers around the globe."

"These chapters on ‘Responsible Leadership’ represent the latest thinking on a topic of increasing relevance in a connected world. There are many challenges that still remain when it comes to establishing responsible leadership both in theory and practice. Whilst offering conceptualisations for the improvement of leadership is a first and perhaps easier response, what is more difficult is to facilitate the actual change to happen. These chapters will not only generate interest in the emerging domain of studies on responsible leadership, but also will pave the way for future research in this area in the years to come."

Felt Accountability is an imperative element within a society, as well as an organization. Without accountability, one would disregard the consequences that their actions may cost another individual. However, the number of empirical research that studies predicting factors of felt accountability, is very much lacking. This correlational design research is done to study the relationship of felt accountability among managerial monitoring for task and for interpersonal facilitation behavior and empowering leadership climate. To reduce common method bias, these research data were obtained from multiple different sources 85 pairs of leaders and their subordinates in Indonesia, furthermore an appropriate amount of time lag was given for the ones that were obtained from the same source. All the measuring instruments for the purposes of this research exhibit a relatively good internal consistency, with the reliability coefficients ranging from 0.7 0.9. The Pearson correlation analysis shows a there are no significant, positive correlation, between managerial monitoring behavior for task and empowering leadership climate with felt accountability b there are significantly positive effect that managerial monitoring for interpersonal facilitation have towards felt accountability. These findings provide new empirical evidences concerning the construction and evaluation of felt accountability within the organizational scope.
