"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui citra Universitas Gunadarma sebagai institusi pendidikan digambarkan oleh media pada saat krisis yang muncul karena kasus bullying di Universitas Gunadarma yang melibatkan mahasiswanya. Dalam konteks ini, penelitian ini berusaha mengkaji citra Universitas Gunadarma melalui pemberitaan di media online. Citra Universitas Gunadarma diwakili oleh pentingnya pengelolaan krisis yang dapat dilihat melalui pemberitaan di media online. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan teknik analisis konten Philipp Mayring. Dalam memeroleh data, penelitian ini menggunakan tiga kata kunci yang berkaitan dengan pertanyaan penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa kasus bullying yang terjadi di Universitas Gunadarma dapat membentuk citra negatif Universitas Gunadarma bagi publiknya yang digambarkan melalui pemberitaan di media online. Inkonsistensi informasi dari pihak institusi, perhatian dan reaksi publik kepada korban bullying dan institusi, dan pengelolaan krisis dari institusi menjadi temuan yang dapat membentuk citra Universitas Gunadarma pada pemberitaan di media.

This research aims to determine the image of Universitas Gunadarma as an educational institution portrayed by the media during the crisis that arose due to bullying case at Universitas Gunadarma that involved their students. In this context, this research examine the image of Universitas Gunadarma through news in online media. The image of Universitas Gunadarma is represented by the importance of crisis management which can be seen through news in online media. This research is a qualitative research using qualitative content analysis techniques by Philipp Mayring. In attempt to collect the data, this research uses three keywords that related with the research question. The results found that the case of bullying that occured can form a negative image of Universitas Gunadarma for its publics which is described through the news in online media. Inconsistencies of information by the institution, public attention and reactions to victim of bullying and Universitas Gunadarma as an institution, and management crisis by institution are findings which can form the image of Universitas Gunadarma in media."
