"ABSTRAKNongkrong sebagai aktifitas untuk memanfaatkan waktu luang menjadi fenomena bagi masyarakat ibukota, khususnya para remaja. Skripsi ini membahas tentang nongkrong sebagai gaya hidup remaja di Jakarta dengan studi kasus pada beberapa remaja yang nongkrong di 7-Eleven atau Starbucks Coffee. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat proses terciptanya gaya hidup nongkrong pada remaja, melihat hal yang menjadi alasan remaja untuk melakukan gaya hidup nongkrong, dan menganalisis dengan teori tindakan sosial.Berawal dari mencoba mengunjungi tempat nongkrong yang dianggap ramai, mudah dijangkau, dan ternama lalu lama kelamaan intensitas berkunjung untuk nongkrong menjadi sering dan kemudian menjadi gaya hidup para remaja. Teman sebaya adalah aktor yang berperan besar dalam terbentuknya gaya hidup nongkrong pada remaja. Para remaja memaknai nongkrong sebagai kegiatan santai mengisi waktu luang sambil berinteraksi bersama teman. Dari sisi alasan, remaja yang nongkrong di 7-Eleven ingin memperluas pergaulan. Alasan lain terlihat pada remaja yang nongkrong di Starbucks Coffee yang memperhatikan aspek tempat dan konsumsi barang untuk menunjukkan posisi mereka yang berbeda dengan remaja yang nongkrong di tempat lain. Namun, tindakan sosial mereka semua masuk ke dalam tindakan sosial rasional berbasis nilai.

ABSTRACTNongkrong or so called hangout is a leisure activity that comes as a phenomenon in Jakarta, especially for teenagers. This thesis is trying to describe nongkrong as the teenagers rsquo lifestyle in Jakarta with case studies on some teens that hanging out at 7 Eleven or Starbucks Coffee. This study is intended to see the process of creating hangouts lifestyle in adolescents, see the teenage reason to do lifestyle hangout, and analysis with social action theory.Starting from trying a crowded and famous hangout place that easy to reach and nongkrong become a habit and then become the lifestyle of teenagers. Peers are actors who play a major role in the formation of lifestyle hanging out in adolescents. The teenagers interpreted nongkrong as a relaxed leisure time while interacting with friends. Teenagers who hangout at 7 Eleven want to widen their social circle. Another reason is seen in teenagers who nongkrong at Starbucks Coffee who pay attention to the aspect of place and consumption of goods to show their different position with teenagers who hang out elsewhere. So, we can see the things that matters to the teenagers to do nongkrong and identify nongkrong as a lifestyle based on social action theory. Peer group have a big impact on creating nongkrong as teenagers rsquo lifestyle. Based on Weber rsquo s four type of social action, their social action is counted as value rational action because they have their own value to do nongkrong as their lifestyle."

"ABSTRAKThis article focuses on Indonesian adolescents who are wives and mothers, demonstrating how early marriage and adolescent motherhood are normative among women from poor Sasak communities in Western Lombok. It isbased on ethnographic research with 28 young mothers that included focusgroup discussions, in depth interviews, and observations. Demographic andethnographic data on the aetiology of early marriage and adolescent motherhoodare discussed, and confirm that low educational attainment for girls, lack ofemployment prospects, poverty, and low levels of economic development areall associated with a higher probability of adolescent marriage and motherhoodin Indonesia. The article also reveals how conservative sexual morality and localmarriage customs can propel girls into early marriage. It provides a human rightsanalysis that demonstrates how early marriage and adolescent motherhoodintersect with the neglect of girls? rights to education, employment, equality inmarriage, health information, family planning, and maternal health."

"This article examines representations of adolescent social media interaction in two Indonesian teen novels to show how adolescent communication styles are typified. It is argued that public discourse on the potential danger of social media interaction is resounded in the novels. The article demonstrates that the authors of both novels take a similar moral stance on the issue of social media but use different rhetorical strategies for indexing that stance. Both draw on the social values of registers to communicate the stance. In Online addicted, standard Indonesian is used in narration to convey an authoritative voice and a stern moral tone, while the gaul register indexes an alignment with favourable aspects of the protagonist?s character. In Jurnal Jo online, gaul is similarly given a positive value by virtue of its juxtaposition with the Alay register. In this novel, gaul is the preferred, standard register. In both novels, there is a strong orientation toward ?standardness?."

"This study offers an overview of the characteristics and social functions of youth slang in the Indonesian province of East Java. It examines Boso Walikan and various types of Surabayan slang. Boso Walikan emerged in Malang as a secret language that was deliberately made unintelligible to outsiders. Over the decades, large parts of Malang?s urban population developed proficiency in the language and appropriated it as an identity marker. The situation in nearby Surabaya is different. While lacking a uniform local slang comparable to that of Malang, several communities make an effort to differentiate themselves through specific linguistic habits, which are briefly introduced. These case studies tell us not only how young people shape their speech, they illustrate how the EastJavanese dialect deals with linguistic variety, lexical borrowing and innovation."

"ABSTRAKAlain Badiou menyusun suatu pemikiran yang menggunakan matematika untuk menjelaskan realitas. Bagi Badiou matematika dapat dengan tepat menjawab permasalahan dalam ontologi. Matematika sebagai ontologi yang diformulasikan oleh Badiou kemudian dikontekstualisasi untuk menjelaskan keberadaan pekerja minoritas seksual dalam situasi ketenagakerjaan. Konsep Badiou terkait presentasi, representasi, dan peristiwa coba digunakan secara kontekstual kepada pekerja minoritas seksual terutama untuk membuatnya menjadi elemen dalam himpunan pekerja.

Mathematics as ontology in this research is contextualized to describe exsistence of sexual minority workers in their labor situation. Badiou rsquo s concepts about presentation, representation, and event are utilized into sexual minority workers rsquo context especially to make them as an element of workers rsquo set."
