"ABSTRAKKomik merupakan salah satu karya sastra yang berisi cerita disertai gambar, dan digemari oleh pembaca segala usia sehingga dapat dibedakan kategori pembaca anak, remaja dan dewasa. Artikel jurnal ini merupakan laporan penelitian tentang metafora dalam komik Prancis. Komik berjudul La Cath ? drale invisible Katedral tak kasat mata 2003 , yang diciptakan oleh Fran ? ois Boucq, terdapat dalam seri Face de lune le dompteur de vague Muka bulan pawang ombak 1997 . Penelitian ini menggunakan teori segitiga semantik metafora yang terdiri atas hubungan gagasan, simbol, dan acuan Ogden dan Richards dalam Abdul Manaf tahun 2008, hlm 5 . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa enam ungkapan metaforis merupakan kiasan, sehingga penulis menyimpulkan bahwa majas metafora yang dipilih oleh komikus memberi warna khas pada komiknya yang bertemakan pemberontakan.

ABSTRACTAbstractComic is one of product literary that contains stories accompanied by pictures, and is loved by readers of all ages so that they can be categorized as readers of children, adolescents and adults can be distinguished. This journal article is a research report on metaphors in French comic. Comic titled La Cath ? drale invisible cathedral invisible 2003 , created by Fran ? ois Boucq, contained in the series Face de lune le dompteur de vague the moon face of the wave handler 1997 . This research uses the semantic metaphor triangle theory which consist of the relationship of ideas, symbols and references Ogden and Richards in Abdul Manaf , 2008, pg 5 . The result of the research show that six metaphorical expressions are figurative, so that the authors conclude that the metaphor of the selected comics artists gave a distinctive color to the comic with the theme of rebellion."
