"Studi tentang struktur komunitas makrozoobentos dan kualitas perairan telah dilakukan di Waduk Krenceng pada November 2002 dan Maret 2003 yang masing-masing mewakili bulan November 2002 dan bulan Maret 2003. Makrozoobentos diambil dengan Peterson Grab dan kualitas air ditentukan dengan Indeks Storet dan Indeks Keanekaragaman. Dari hasil Identifikasi ditemukan 6 jenis makrozoobentos yang terdiri dari: Oligochaeta (3 jenis) dan In sect a (3 jenis). Kelimpahan jenis berkisar antara 3-2254 ind/nT dan didominasi oleh Aloudrilus pigueti Kowalewski, keanekaragaman jenis berkisar antara 0,76-1,67, dan penyebaran jenis mengelompok, kecuali Chironomus sp. yang menyebar acafc. Berdasarkan Indeks Storel, kualitas perairan Waduk Krenceng termasuk katagori tercemar sedang sampai sangat baik sedangkan dengan Indeks Keanekaragaman termasuk katagori tercemar sedang sampai tercemar berat. Kesesuaian antara indeks Storet dan Indeks keanekaragaman adalah 67% sehingga Indeks Keanekaragaman dapat digunakan untuk menilai kualitas perairan Waduk Krenceng.

Community Structure Of Macrobenthic Faunas And Water Quality Of Waduk Krenceng In Cilegon, Banten: Community structure of macrobenthic faunas and water quality assessment was studied in Waduk Krenceng on November 2002 (dry month) and Maret 2003 (wet month). Macrobenthic fauna dredged by Peterson grab, water quality assessment used Storet index and Diversity index. From the result of macrobenthic identification, six species of two classes and 3 families were found: Oligochaeta 3 species and In sect a 3 species. Species abundance ranging from 3 to 2254 ind/ha and species diversity ranging from 0,76 to 1,67. tutodrilus pigueti Kowalewski (Oligochaeta: Tubificidae) showed the highest abundance both in November 2002 (dry month) and March 2003 (wet month). The result of dispersion analysis showed that the dispersion of all macrobenthic species in Waduk Krenceng is aggregated, except Chironomus sp. that is random dispersion. The physico-chemical condition showed that water quality of Waduk Krenceng ranging from moderatly polluted to standard for clean water condition. Based on diversity index of macrobenthic fauna showed that water quality ranging from heavily polluted to moderatly polluted. There are 67% equivalency between Storet indeks and Diversity Index. Therefore Diversity index can be used to evaluate water quality at Waduk Krenceng."

"Telah dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk menjelaskan struktur komunitas dan melengkapi data mengenai famili Asteraceae di Kampus Universitas Indonesia UI. Penelitian dilakukan selama bulan September dan Oktober 2017. Lokasi pengambilan sampel dibagi menjadi tujuh kompartemen dengan membuat petak berukuran 1x1 meter sebanyak seratus plot menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Data yang diperoleh berupa kehadiran dan diameter tutupan tiap spesies Asteraceae. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan empat belas spesies Asteraceae. Spesies yang ditemukan di kompartemen 1 hingga 7 masing-masing terdiri dari 10 spesies, 9 spesies, 10 spesies, 11 spesies, 8 spesies, 7 spesies, dan 8 spesies. Berdasarkan nilai INP, Mikania micrantha mendominasi hanya pada kompartemen 2 dengan nilai INP sebesar 39,56. Synedrella nodiflora mendominasi pada kompartemen 1, 4, dan 5 dengan nilai masing-masing sebesar 50,28, 34,89, dan 59,08. Sedangkan, Tridax procumbens mendominasi pada kompartemen 3, 6, dan 7 dengan nilai masing-masing sebesar 64,02, 66,47, dan 59,29. Secara keseluruhan, ketujuh kompartemen memiliki indeks keanekaragaman yang rendah hingga sedang H 1,41-2,03, tingkat kemerataan yang tinggi E 0,67-0,84, dan tingkat dominansi yang rendah D 0,14-0,27.

Research on the community structure of Asteraceae family in Universitas Indonesia UI campus has been done. The study was conducted during September to October 2017. A hundred plots sampling with a size of 1 x 1 meter was made purposively on seven compartments that became the sampling location. The data obtained are the presence and coverage area of each species. The total species of Asteraceae found were fourteen. Each compartment has a different number of species. Species found in compartment 1-7 were ten, nine, ten, eleven, eight, seven, and eight species respectively. Based on IVI values, Mikania micrantha dominates only in compartment 2 with an IVI value of 39.56. Synedrella nodiflora dominates in compartments 1, 4, and 5 with IVI values of 50.28, 34.89, and 59.08, respectively. Meanwhile, Tridax procumbens dominates in compartments 3, 6, and 7 with IVI values of 64.02, 66.47, and 59.29 respectively. Overall, the seven compartments had a low to moderate level of diversity H 39 1.41 2.03, high level of evenness E 0.67 0.84, and low level of dominance D 0.14 0.27.

"ABSTRACT
Leaf borer moth of Artona flavipuncta was a perennial pest of Bali Botanic Garden Zingiberaceae collection. This paper aims to discuss A. flavipuncta attack status as well as its life cycle and control attempts, both that already and potentially used in Bali Botanic Garden. This paper concluded that A. flavipuncta attack 54,5% of all Zingiberaceae species collected in Bali Botanic Garden. Its larval activity causes severe leaves damage but never caused plant mortality. Decis 2.5 EC insecticide was used to control this pest, but natural enemy control using assassin bug could be considered as alternative control method in the future."

"Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui komunitas zooplankton dan hubungan antara zooplankton dengan fitoplankton di Waduk Krenceng Cilegon. Kelimpahan zooplankton ditentukan dengan metode Sedwigck-Rafter Counting Method. Hubungan antara zooplankton dengan lingkungan dianalisis dengan regresi linier berganda. Keeratan hubungan zooplankton dengan fitoplankton menggunakan analisis korelasi regresi. Hasil identifikasi ditemukan 13 jenis zooplankton yang termasuk dalam 3 kelas. Rotifera merupakan kelompok yang dominan ditemukan pada November 2002 dan Maret 2003. Hasil regresi menunjukkan faktor lingkungan yang berpengaruh terhadap kelimpahan zooplankton pada bulan November adalah pH, BOD 5 , nitrat, CO2 bebas dan kelimpahan fitoplankton, sedangkan pada bulan Maret adalah kecerahan, nitrat, orthoposfat, dan C organik. Keeratan hubungan fitoplankton dengan zooplankton berkorelasi positif.

Zooplankton communities in the Krenceng Reservoair, Cilegon, Banten. This research was carried out to know the structure of zooplankton communities and relations between the phytoplankton and zooplankton in the Krenceng Reservoair, Cilegon. The zooplankton abundance with used Sedwigck Rafter Counting Method, diversity and evenness were counted. Relations between zooplankton and the environmental factors as well as its relations to phytoplankton calculated with regression. The results showed that are 13 species of the zooplankton found which including in three classes with the highest abundance on Novembers 2002 and March 2003 of the Rotifera. The analysis of regression pointed out that the environmental factors such: pH, BOD5, nitrate, CO2 and abundance of phytoplankton influence the abundance zooplankton in November. While in March, the abundance of zooplankton is influenced by brigthtness, nitrate, orthophosphates and C organic. The abundance of phytoplankton influenced positively by the abundance of zooplankton."

"Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui struktur komunitas filoplankton serta hubungannya lerhadap kondisi fisiko-kimia perairan di Waduk Krenceng Cilegon. Kelimpahan fitoplankton dihitung dengan lackey drop microlransect method, keanekaragaman jenis dengan indeks Shannon Wiener, kesamarataan jenis dengan indeks Evenness. Hubungan anlara fitoplankton dengan lingkungan menggunakan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil identifikasi ditemuka 26 jenis fitoplankton yang termasuk dalam 4 klas dengan kelimpahan tertinggi jenis Microcysiis aeroginasa. Hasil analisa regresi menunjukkan faktor lingkungan yang berpengaruh terhadap kelimpahan fitoplankton pada bulan Nopember adalah: kecerahan, suhu, pH, oksigen terlarut, nitrat, dan orthofosfat. Sedangkan pada bulan Marel faktor-faktor lingkungan seperti keceraahan, suhu, pH, oksigen terlarut, nitrtal, dan CO; lebih berpengaruh.

This research was carried out lo know the structure of the phytoplankton communities as well as his relations lo the physical and chemical water conditions in the Krenceng Reservoir, Cilegon. The phytoplankton abundance, diversity and evenness were counted. Relations between the phytoplankton and the environment were calculated with regression. We identified 26 species of the phytoplankton that including in four classes with the highest abundance of the Microcystis aeroginosa. The analysis of regression pointed out that the environmental factors such as brightness, temperature, pH, dissolve oxygen, nitrate, and orthophosphates influence the phytoplankton abundance in November, whereas in March the influenced factors are brightness, temperature, pH, dissolve oxygen, nitrates, and CO2."
