"ABSTRAK
Fisheries resources management aimed to improve community welfare especially fishermen and to conserve the fisheries resources and its environment, to keep the capture fisheries business system sustainability efficient and profitable. Beside marketing guarantee, optimalization between fisheries resources stock and fishing effort in each of fishing area. The improvement of capture fisheries must be held based on the existing condition, i.e.: marketing in determining the priority commodity, maximum sustainable yield and fisheries resources utilization level to determine limit of fisheries resources utilization chance, fishing technology and socio-economic condition to identify the fishermen's earns and absorption of labors related to capture fisheries sector. Based on the marketing aspect analysis, it is determined that the kinds of priority commodity in Southern of West Java Province are lobster, shrimp, tuna, skip jack tuna, and layar. Hence, the potency (MSY) and fisheries resources utilization level of the priority commodity still has very large chance to improve, except lobster has large enough chance. Based on the scoring approach, combined from many technical aspects, financial aspects and social aspect and linear goal programming analysis can be concluded that the proper fishing technology in southern waters of West Java Province are: (1) Purse seine 80 unit, (2) Denish same 127 unit, (3) Lines 144 unit, (4) Gillnet 80 unit, (5) Trammel net 376 unit."

"SURVEI KELAUTAN DI PERAIRAN SAMUDERA HINDIA SELATAN JAWA BARAT (PERAIRAN SELAT PANAITAN SELATAN). Telah dilakukan survei kelautan yang berhubungan dengan dispersi radionuklida di perairan laut Samudera Hindia. Penilitian dilakukan dengan cara mengambil sampel air laut untuk mengetahui konsentrasi 137Cs dan melakukan pengukuran CTD. Untuk mengetahui kondisi fisis oseanografi daerah penelitian, maka dilakukan pengambilan data temperatur, salinitas, dan densitas secara vertikal dengan menggunakan CTD di tiga titik pemantauan. Data hasil rekaman CTD dapat digunakan sebagai bahan untuk menganalisis pola arus yang terjadi di lokasi penelitian. Menggunakan software Ocean Data View (ODV), data CTD diolah dan ditampilkan dalam bentuk grafik terhadap kedalaman. Konsentrasi 137Cs di perairan Selat Panaitan – Selatan Garut dengan kisaran 0,14 – 0,30 mBq/L. Konsentrasi tersebut belum mengindikasikan dampak kecelakaan Fukushima walaupun pola arus global mampu mentranspor 137Cs dari sumber (Fukushima) ke perarain Indonesia. Arus yang berada di Samudera Pasifik masuk ke perairan Indonesia melalui sistem ARLINDO. Nilai konsentrasi terendah dan tertinggi terjadi karena perbedaan jarak stasiun penelitian dengan ARLINDO. Kata kunci: survei, samudra hindia, 137Cs ABSTRACT SURVEY OF MARINE IN SOUTH INDIAN OCEAN – EAST JAVA (STRAIT OF SOUTH PANAITAN). Marine surveys have been conducted relating to the dispersion of radionuclides in the marine waters of the Indian Ocean. The studies conducted by taking a sample of sea water to determine the concentration of 137Cs and CTD measurements. To determine the physical oceanographic conditions of the study area, then the data collection of temperature, salinity and density vertically using the CTD in three monitoring points have been performanced. CTD data recording can be used as material for analyzing the flow patterns that occur in the study site . Using the software Ocean Data View ( ODV ), CTD Data processed and displayed in graphical form on the depth . The concentration of 137Cs in Panaitan Strait - South Garut with a range of 0.14 to 0.30 mBq/L. This concentration of 137Cs has not indicated the impact the Fukushima accident although the global flow pattern although capable of transporting 137Cs source (Fukushima ) to Indonesia marine waters. The current of the Pacific Ocean waters can enter Indonesia through Arlindo system. Value of the lowest and highest concentrations occur due to differences in the distance with Arlindo research station . Keywords: Survey, Indian Ocean, 137Cs"

"Produksi ikan cakalang di PPN Palabuhanratu mencapai 34,92, tuna mata besar 30,66 , madidihang 26,74 dan albakora 7,66. Tujuan penelitian untuk menganalisis pengaruh klorofil-a dan SPL terhadap hasil tangkapan cakalang dan mengidentifikasi daerah potensial penangkapan cakalang di perairan Barat daya Palabuhanratu. Lokasi penelitian pada koordinat 06o 30,0 39; S - 07o 40,0 39; S dan bujur 105o 00 39;,0 T - 107o 00,0 39; T. Data yang digunakan citra SPL dan klorofil-a dari satelit Aqua MODIS melalui software SeaDAS, kemudian data CPUE cakalang dari PPN Palabuhanratu 2005-2011. Analisis data menggunakan regresi berganda.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan sebaran SPL di perairan barat daya Palabuhanratu antara 23,81oC -29,40°C, rata-rata 27,70°C dengan suhu optimum 27,27 -29,35°C. Konsentrasi bulanan klorofil-a antara 0,001 mg/m3 - 4,835 mg/m3, rata-rata 0,623 mg/m3 dan optimum 0,190 - 0,648 mg/m3. Hasil regresi berganda menunjukan hubungan SPL dan klorofil-a terhadap CPUE cakalang positif 19,5 artinya sangat lemah. Variabel SPL dan klorofil-a secara parsial dan simultan tidak mempengaruhi CPUE cakalang hanya 3,80.
Peta daerah penangkapan ikan cakalang potensial berdasarkan parameter SPL dan klorofil-a terjadi pada musim peralihan Barat ke Timur April-Mei hingga pertengahan musim Timur Juni-Juli dan puncaknya terjadi bulan Mei. Secara spasial daerah penangkapan potensial cakalang berada di mulut Teluk Palabuhanratu, selatan Ujung genteng dan tenggara Tanjung Sodong.

Production of skipjack in Palabuhanratu fishing port reached 34.92 , 30.66 bigeye tuna, yellowfin tuna 26.74 and Albakora 7.66. The research objective analyzed the influence of chlorophyll a and SPL to skipjack CPUE and identify of potential fishing ground mapping of skipjack in the southwestern Palabuhanratu waters. Latitude position at 06o 30.0 39 S 07o 40.0 39 S and longitude 105o 00 39, 0 T 107o 00.0 39 T. Data were used in the SPL and chlorophyll a from MODIS Aqua satellite through SeaDAS software, then skipjack CPUE data from Palabuhanratu 2005 2011 . Analysis of data using multiple regression.
The results showed the distribution of SPL in southwest Palabuhanratu waters between 23,81°C 29,40°C, average 27,70°C with optimum temperature 27,27 29,35oC. Monthly chlorophyll a concentration of between 0.001 mg m3 4.835 mg m3, an average of 0.623 mg m3 and optimum 0.190 to 0.648 mg m3. The results of multiple regression analysis shows the relationship SPL and chlorophyll a of skipjack CPUE 19.5 means that very low. Variable SPL and chlorophyll a partial and simultan does not influence to skipjack CPUE only 3.80.
Potential fishing ground mapping based on parameters of the SPL and chlorophyll a transition the west to the east season April May to middle east season June July and the peak occurred in May. Spatially potential skipjack fishing ground at the mouth of the Palabuhanratu bay, southern of Ujung genteng and southeast of Tanjung Sodong.

"Pantai Selatan Kabupaten Sukabumi merupakan daerah dimana tempat bermuaranya berbagai sungai. Muara sungai merupakan daerah asuhan bagikehidupan larva ikan. Larva Ikan merupakan benih ikan yang dapat dikonsumsi danjuga bernilai ekonomis. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi terhadap kehidupanlarva ikan impun adalah kondisi salinitas pada suatu perairan. Nilai salinitas dapatdiketahui dari hasil pengolahan citra satelit Landsat 8 OLI dengan menggunakanalgoritma Cimandiri Supriatna et al., 2016. Penelitian ini bertujuan untukmengetahui dan menganalisis persebaran larva ikan di Pantai Selatan KabupatenSukabumi dan menganalisis hubungan nilai salinitas dengan curah hujan dankondisi oseanografis. Persebaran Larva Ikan berdasarkan nilai salinitas pada habitatlarva ikan di Pantai Selatan Kabupaten Sukabumi berkisar antara 14,10/0 - 25,860/00. Nilai salinitas semakin tinggi bila curah hujan rendah dan tingginya tinggi mukaair laut. Nilai salinitas rendah bila curah hujan tinggi dan rendahnya tinggi mukaair laut. Terpaparnya muara oleh arus permukaan laut maka nilai salinitas muaratersebut memiliki variasi yang rendah, muara tidak terpapar oleh arus pemukaanlaut maka nilai salinitas muara tersebut memilki variasi yang tinggi.

Pantai Selatan Kabupaten Sukabumi is the river rsquo s outlet area. It is an area of carefor the life of fish larvae. Larvae Fish can be consumed and also has a higheconomic value. One of the factors that affect the lives of fish larvae is the salinityconditions on waters. Salinity can be analyzing from the landsat 8 OLI satelliteimagery processing using Cimandiri algorithms Supriatna et al., 2016 . This study aims to determine and analyse the distribution of fish larvae at Pantai SelatanKabupaten Sukabumi and analyse the relationship between the value of salinitywith rainfall and the oceanographic conditions. Salinity values on larvae fish habitatin Pantai Selatan Kabupaten Sukabumi ranged from 14,10 00 ndash 25,860 00. The higher currents move, low rainfall, and sea in a state of low tide make salinity value increase. The lower of salinity value when high rainfall, sea state and low velocitytidal currents move.

"West season represent period of strong blowing wind in southern waters of Malang, East Java Province with maximum speed of wind reaching 31.37 that happened in Februari 2008, while average speed of wind 10.16 knot. During this season wind pattern even also relative more disseminating to all direction compared to other seasons. Westerly wind is dominant at the season. During three next seasons, namely early-year switchover season, east season and year-end switchover season, wind pattern settdly blow from east and south-east directions. Speed of its feeber wind even also than west season, specially at early-year switchover and year-end switchover seasons. East wind is predominating wind puff since April till November with strongest blowing 23.19 knot happened in July and average speed of this wind reach maximum 15.39 knot in August. March become period of calm wind puff with wind blowing disseminating from all direction relatively . Average speed of wind in this month only 5.90 knot and speed of the strongest 12.93 knot only. February - March mark a period of wind gradient strongest and average speeds with maximum and minimum reaching during December 2007 till November 2008."
