"Telah dilakukan kajian optimalisasi inversi seismik dengan memvariasikan jumlah picking horizon dan metode inversi yang digunakan untuk memetakan gambaran bawah permukaan yang berpotensi menjadi reservoar hidrokarbon di lapangan F3, Laut Utara, Belanda. Inversi seismik ini dikontrol oleh data sumur. Inversi seismik sangat ditentukan oleh penentuan picking horizon dan metode inversi yang digunakan. Untuk struktur litologi yang tidak kompleks (flat) cukup menggunakan dua horizon. Sedangkan untuk litologi yang kompleks seperti downlap dan onlap, picking horizon tidak cukup dua. Pada daerah lapangan F3 ini memiliki downlap dan bright spot, yang menyebabkan lapangan ini berpotensi sebagai reservoar hidrokarbon dan telah dilakukan pengujian penggunaan jumlah picking horizon untuk memetakan bawah permukaan di lapangan ini. Diperoleh hasil yang optimal dengan 3 horizon, adapun metode seismik inversi yang optimal untuk menyelesaikan downlap ini adalah model based daripada metode bandlimited dan sparse spike. Hasil horizon slice pada metode model based menunjukkan bahwa terdapat dua zona reservoar. Ketebalan reservoar pertama sekitar 40.08 m dengan luas sekitar 13,353,840 m2 dan reservoar kedua ketebalannya sekitar 26.4 m dengan luas sekitar 5,104,160 m2 .

Study about optimization in seismic inversion by varying the number of horizon picking and inversion method has been conducted to delineate subsurface of prospective hidrocarbon reservoir zone at field F3, North Sea, Netherland. Seismic inversion was controlled by wells data. Seismic inversion is strongly determined by horizon picking and the method of the inversion itself. For less lithological structure (flat), 2 horizons are enough, meanwhile for complex lithological structure such as downlap and onlap, more horizons picking are needed. Downlap and bright spot structure were found in field F3 which made this area became prospectous and thus horizon picking determination was conducted to delineate the subsurface. The result shows that the optimum horizon is 3, and the optimum seismic inversion method is model based than bandlimited and sparse spike. The results of horizon slice models based method shows that there are two reservoir zones exist. The first zone is approximately 40.08 m thick which enclose 13,353,840 m2 areas, while the second zone is about 26.4 m thick with 5,104,160 m2 areas"

"[ABSTRAK
Lapangan Athar mulai berproduksi sejak tahun 1975 dengan produksi kumulatif mencapai 900 MMbbls dan RF 50%. Pada tahun 2011 dilakukan akuisisi seismik 3D untuk melihat remaining potential yang ada di lapangan ini. Analisa seismik 3D dengan atribut seismik dan inversi simultan memberikan hasil yang cukup baik untuk menentukan penyebaran batupasir dan hidrokarbon yang ada di dalam nya. Volume densitas hasil inversi, atribut minimum amplitude, dan atribut arc length membantu dalam mengidentifikasi penyebaran reservoar. Lambda-Rho dan AI membantu dalam mengidentifikasi area-area yang mengandung hidrokarbon. Interpretasi struktur di seismik menunjukkan adanya sesar minor, yang sebelumnya tidak teridentifikasi pada seismik 2D. Hasil analisa seismik digunakan dalam pembuatan 3D geomodel. Penentuan batas channel, dan area hidrokarbon di dipandu hasil dari analisa seismik dan data sumur. Empat tubuh channel teridentifikasi dari analisis tersebut, sementara overbank deposit disebarkan secara statistik. Data interpreasi struktur digunakan untuk menentukan jumlah segmen atau kompartemen, dan hasilnya adalah lima segmen selatan dan satu segmen utara terdapat di zona dangkal Lapangan Athar. Hasil pemodelan geologi menunjukkan bahwa segmen 5 menjadi area yang masih memiliki prosepek untuk produksi minyak, sementara segmen 2 memiliki prospek untuk produksi gas.

Analysis of 3D seismic with attribute and simultaneous inversion provide a good result to determine reservoar distribution and hydrocarbon contained. Density cube from inversion, minimum amplutide attribute, anda arc length attribute are used to map the sand distribution. Lambda Rho and AI (Ip) are usefull to identify the remaining hyrocarbon area. Structural interpretation from seismic shows there are minor faults which is not identified before with 2D seismic. The result of the analysis was used to create 3D Geomodel. The channel limit determination, and remaining hydrocarbon area guided by analysis from seismic and well data. As a result, four channel bodies were identified, whilst overbank deposit distributed statistically. Structural interpretation data used to determine the number of segment or compartment, and the result are five segments in the south and one segment in the north identified in the shallow zone Athar Field. "ABSTRAK
Studi menggunakan metoda seismik telah diterapkan dalam penelitian ini untuk menginterpretasi dan mendelineasi penyebaran reservoar Gita sand di Lapangan S. Dengan menggunakan inversi seismik, kita bisa mendapatkan model geologi penyebaran reservoar melalui penampang dan slicing P-impedance. Lapangan S terletak di sebelah utara Cekungan Asri dan merupakan lapangan eksplorasi yang belum pernah ditemukan potensi hidrokarbon. Hipotesis awal dari analisa sensifitas menunjukkan bahwa data sumur memiliki sensifitas terhadap P-impedance untuk memisahkan litologi. Analisa hasil inversi membantu interpretasi model geologi menjadi lebih akurat dan juga menunjukkan bahwa reservoar tersebar di sekitar prospek eksplorasi Undip B-1. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa prospek Undip B-1 dapat menjadi prospek hidrokarbon baru di lapangan S.

Abstract
Seismic inversion method has been applied to interpret and delineate reservoir distribution of Gita sand in S field. Using seismic inversion, it can get reservoir distribution model through P-impedance section and slicing. S field is exploration field located in the northern part of Asri Basin and there was no found hydrocarbon potential previously in this field. Initial review from sensitivity analysis shows that well data has sensitivity to p=impedance to classify lithology. The inversion result helps geological model interpretation to be more accurate and also shows resevoir distribution around exploration prospect Updip B-1. The result of this study prove that exploration prospect Updip B-1 can be new hydrocarbon prospect in S field"
