"Beberapa Perguruan Tinggi Negeri di Indonesia telah menerapkan Sistem Manajemen Mutu (SMM) ISO 9001:2008, Badan Akreditasi Nasional Perguruan Tinggi (BAN-PT) dan ASEAN University Network Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) pada program studinya. Ketiga SMM tersebut memiliki kesamaan prinsip dan teknik manajemen. Tapi sayangnya Perguruan Tinggi tersebut melakukan pengelolaan secara terpisah, baik dalam sistem proses manajemen, tata kelola, maupun dalam pendokumentasiaannya. Hal ini mengakibatkan sistem kerja atau proses manajemen terutama dalam pendokumentasiannya tidak terstruktur dengan baik. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang SMM khususnya sistem pendokumentasiannya secara terintegrasi dengan mempertimbangkan persyaratan ISO 9001:2008, BAN-PT dan AUN-QA pada program studi/perguruan tinggi di Indonesia. Penelitian ini diawali dengan menganalisa tingkat keterkaitan antara klausul ISO 9001:2008, standar BAN-PT dan kriteria AUN-QA. Hasilnya terdapat kesamaan prinsip yang mendukung dalam pengintegrasiannya, terutama prinsip P-D-C-A. Selanjutnya penelitian ini melakukan identifikasi dokumen yang dipersyaratkan ketiga SMM tersebut. Identifikasi tersebut digunakan untuk merancang sistem proses manajemen program studi/perguruan tinggi.

Several state universities in Indonesia has implemented a Quality Management System (QMS) ISO 9001:2008, Badan Akreditasi Nasional Perguruan Tinggi / BAN-PT (the National Accreditation Agency for Higher Education in Indonesia), and the ASEAN University Network Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) on this management. All these QMS have in common principles and management techniques. Unfortunately the universities manage this QMS separately, both in systems management processes, governance, and in documentation. This condition resulted poor structure in a working system or process management, especially in documentation. Therefore this study aims, to design a specific Integrated Quality Management System that include ISO 9001:2008, BAN-PT and AUN-QA on a Higher Education in Indonesia. This study begins by analyzing the links between QMS ISO 9001:2008, BAN-PT and AUN-QA. The results showed that there are similiarities in principles that support the integration, especially the principle of PDCA. Furthermore, this study identifies the documents required by these three QMS. Identification is used to design Process Management System in Higher Education. "

"Penerapan Sistem Manajemen Mutu, Sistem Manajemen Lingkungan dan Sistem Manajemen Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja pada pengelolaan proyek konstruksi merupakan keniscayaan dan juga harus berorientasi pada peningkatan berkelanjutan. Industri konstruksi menggunakan semua sumber daya ekonomi, sosial, dan lingkungan yang berada pada titik kritis sehingga mereka harus harmonis dan efisiensi. Pengembangan model integrasi proses yang menjadi tujuan penelitian ini diusulkan agar penerapan sistem manajemen yang ada berdampak signifikan pada peningkatan keberlanjutan proyek konstruksi terutama pada aspek penurunan risiko ekonomi, sosial dan lingkungan, penyelenggaraan organisasi yang baik, transparan dan akuntabel, optimalisasi sumber daya, penerapan penghargaan dan hukuman, dan pengembangan inovasi teknologi baru. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus pada penerapan sistem manajemen dalam pengelolaan proyek konstruksi di perusahaan milik negara bidang pekerjaan umum. Proses integrasi sistem manajemen dengan klausul dan sub klausul dalam struktur ISO:2015 mempengaruhi sistem untuk mencapai peningkatan berkelanjutan. Hubungan antar klausul integrasi proses saling mempengaruhi dalam pendekatan PDCA yang merupakan struktur utama standar sistem manajemen. Kepemimpinan, kebijakan dan perencanaan merupakan faktor penting keberhasilan penerapan integrasi proses.

Application of the quality management system, environmental management system and management system of safety and occupational health on the construction project management is a must and should be oriented to the sustainable improvement. Construction industry uses all of economic, social, and environment resource that are at a critical point so that they must be harmonized and efficiency. Development of model integration process into this proposed research objectives in order that the implementation of the management system, there is a significant impact on improving the sustainability of construction project, especially risk reduction of economic, social and environmental, organizing a good organization, transparent and accountable, optimization of resources, application of reward and punishment and development of new innovation technologies.

This research method using case studies on the application of management systems of construction project management in state owned companies in the field of public works. The integration process of management systems with the clauses and sub clauses in the structure of ISO 2015 affects the system to achieve a sustainable improvement. Process integration clause relations interplay in the PDCA approach, which is the main structure of the standard management system. Leadership, policy and planning important factor successes the implementation of the integration process."

"The objectives of the research is ti know the implementation of policy and implementation of the research program and the public service at Higher Education (HE). The research method is the mixed of quantitative and qualitative methods with a descriptive analysis. Sample of the research is 160 respondents taken purposively of head and members of the research and public service instutions at public and private of HE. The research was conducted for 7 months from April to October 2008 at six provinces : West Nusa Tenggara province , Bali province, Special Yogyakarta province, west Sumatera provine, and South Sumatera provine. Tools and the techniques of data collecting are using documentation study, questionnaries, interview and focus group discussion. Primary data is the information from the resource persons from HE while the secondary data is taken from the the documents about the rules as well as the laws and the related research done by other people. The findings of the research are : 1) the policy of research program and the public service at HE is based on the general policy of the HE Directorate, Ministry of National Education; 2) the implementation of policy in improving quality of HE still has constrains such as the instutions of research and public service are still sparate, the socialization of programs of public service is still low, and most lectures at HE are still lack of having research methodology; 3) the research findings of both public and private HE can be implemented to develop and improve science. However, there has a few of the research findings that can be used for improving teaching and learning materaials for higher education, very few of national as well international publications, and very few of having patent rights; and 4) the activities in public service are not based on the findings of the research yet.
