"Penelitian yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode sejarah ini membahas mengenai peranan dua budayawan Jepang, Ono Saseo dan Takashi Kono yang tergabung dalam Sendenbu yang dikirim ke Indonesia untuk melakukan tugas propaganda dalam majalah Djawa Baroe (1943-1945). Hasil yang ditemukan dalam penelitian ini adalah selama masa aktif mereka di majalah ini, Ono Saseo dan Takashi Kono berperan sebagai propagandis dengan Ono Saseo sebagai pembuat karikatur, sedangkan Takashi Kono sebagai desainer sampul majalah Djawa Baroe.

This research, which was conducted using the historical method, discusses the role of two Japanese culturalists, Ono Saseo and Takashi Kono who were members of the Sendenbu sent to Indonesia to carry out propaganda duties in Djawa Baroe magazine (1943-1945). The results found in this study are that during their active period in this magazine, Ono Saseo and Takashi Kono acted as propagandists where Ono Saseo was a caricature maker, while Takashi Kono was the cover designer of Djawa Baroe magazine."
