"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas klasifikasi tindak ilokusi dalam film Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban berdasarkan klasifikasi tindak ilokusi Searle (representatif, direktif, komisif, ekspresif dan deklarasi) dan untuk mengetahui konteks yang digunakan dalam ujaran-ujaran karakter. Data dikumpulkan dengan menonton film, membaca naskah, dan kemudian menjelaskan konteks dan klasifikasi tindak ilokusi. Data dibatasi menjadi sepuluh data. Dari analisis, ditemukan bahwa ada lima jenis tindak ilokusi yang digunakan oleh karakter-karakter dalam film Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Adalah representatif (menegaskan, melaporkan, menyimpulkan), direktif (memerintah, mempertanyakan, memohon), ekspresif (memuji), komisif (menjanjikan) dan deklarasi (menyatakan).

The research aims to discuss the classification of illocutionary acts in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban based on Searle?s illocutionary acts classifications ( representative, directive, commisive, expressive and declaration) and to find out the context used in the utterances of the characters. The data were collected by watching the movie,reading the script, and then describing the context and the classification of illocutionary acts. The data are limited to ten data. From the analysis, it is found that there are five types of illocutionary acts used by the characters in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. They are representative (asserting, reporting concluding), directive (commanding, questioning, requesting), expressive (praising), commisive (promising) and declaration (declaring)."
