"ABSTRAKSkripsi ini membahas simbol lima sajak dari buku kumpulan puisi De herfst vanZorro karya Rodaan Al Galidi yang diterbitkan tahun 2006. Alasan pemilihanbuku ini adalah persepsi penyair ?sebagai seorang imigran yang belum lamatinggal di Belanda- tentang berbagai aspek kehidupan Belada dan kekayaan majasserta simbol. Pada judul masing-masing sajak, Al Galidi menggunakan objekobjekkhas Belanda, yaitu vla yang berkaitan dengan kekhasan kuliner, hujanyang berkaitan dengan musim, Schiphol yang berkaitan dengan gerbang masukdan keluar negara Belanda, peradaban yang berkaitan dengan tatanan sosial, dankebenaran yang berkaitan dengan citra masyarakat Belanda sebagai simbol.Melalui analisis terhadap struktur fisik dan batin puisi, ditemukan bahwa AlGalidi menggunakan kelima simbol untuk memperlihatkan ketidakberdayaannyamenghadapi keadaan sosial, alam, dan realita hidup.

ABSTRACTThe thesis discussed the symbol within five poems taken from a book of poetrytitled De Herfst van Zorro by Rodaan Al Galidi published in 2006. Reason for theselection of the book is the perception of the poet ?as an immigrant who has notbeen living long enough in the Netherlands- about several aspects of life in theNetherlands as well as its abundant figures of speech and the symbols. In the titleof each poem, Al Galidi using typical Dutch object, namely vla which related tothe culinary peculiarity, rain which associated with the season, Schiphol whichrelated to the entry and exit gates of the country, Netherlands, civilization whichrelated to the social order and truth which related to the image of Dutch society, assymbols. Through the analysis of physical and inner structure of the poems, AlGalidi using those five symbol to show his helplessness on facing the social andnatural condition, as well as the reality."

"This research aims to explore poem based on Michael Halley's space of metaphorical expression. it consist of nine metaphor category ; human, animate, living, terrestrial, substance, energy, cosmic, being. Meanwhile, based on philosophic, there are etos, logos, and patos. The theory space of metaphorical expression Michael Halley is used on this, It says, hierarchy of human perception regarding space, start on his/her own perception. Because human and his/her action reflect the interaction with environment. That interaction is explained on metaphor. Meanwhile, the philosophic poin of the metaphor is about life. The message of life comes from the analysis of whole meaning, start on the explisit meaning or outside structure to the inplicit one. To find out the meaning, this research uses Friedrich Schleirmacher's hermeneutic and pierce semiotic approach. Those two theory support each other to analyze poem which consist of symbol and metaphor. This research uses analysis desriptive method. It describes the facts then analyzes those directly. On Mardi Luhung poems, researcher describes facts which form diction. After that, the diction which consist of methaphor which relate on space perception, in human category. This is the way to express his idea through poems. He uses nature symbols, animals, and myth, those have metaphoric and symbolic meaning as the way to express idea through poems."

"Sebagai penyair di Korea, Na Hye-seok memiliki pemikiran feminisme yang kuat. Unsur feminisme liberal yang terdapat dalam dua puisi karya Na Hye-seok, yaitu yang berjudul 인형의 집 (A Doll’s House) dan 노라 (Nora), menjadi dasar pembahasan dalam penelitian ini. Peneliti mengkaji dua puisi tersebut karena feminisme liberal memiliki nilai-nilai yang dapat menjadi indikator utama dalam mengenali aliran feminisme ini. Peneliti menggunakan metode kajian pustaka untuk melengkapi apa yang belum diteliti pada penelitian-penelitian terdahulu, sedangkan pendekatan analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis strata norma. Pendekatan analisis strata norma bersifat mengupas puisi menjadi beberapa strata, yang dapat membantu peneliti dalam mengkaji kedua puisi tersebut. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kedua puisi Na Hye-seok mempunyai nilai-nilai feminisme liberal.

As a poet in Korea, Na Hye-seok has strong feminist thoughts. The elements of liberal feminism contained in two of Na Hye-seok's poems, namely entitled 인형의 집 (A Doll's House) and 노라 (Nora), form the basis of the discussion in this research. The researcher examines the two poems because liberal feminism has values that can be the main indicators in recognizing this flow of feminism.

The researcher uses the literature review method to complement what has not been studied in previous studies, while the analytical approach used is strata norm analysis. The strata-norm analysis approach is to break down poetry into several strata, which can assist researchers in studying the two poems. The results of this study indicate that both of Na Hye-seok's poems have liberal feminism values."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan nilai pendidikan karakter dalam novel Ayah karya Andrea Hirata. Novel Ayah sebagai sumber data penelitian dan kutipan teks berbentuk narasi yang mengandung nilai pendidikan sebagai data. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik dokumentasi, baca, dan catat. Tahapan teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan cara reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penyimpulan dan verifikasi hasil penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) temuan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dalam novel Ayah karya Andrea Hirata terdiri dari lima belas nilai yakni: religius, jujur, disiplin, kerja keras, kreatif, mandiri, demokratis, rasa ingin tahu, cinta tanah air, menghargai prestasi, bersahabat/komunikatif, cinta damai, gemar membaca, peduli sosial, dan tanggung jawab (2) kontribusi novel Ayah karya Andrea Hirata terhadap pengajaran Sastra Indonesia adalah pemanfaatan novel sebagai bahan untuk pengembangan nilai pendidikan karakter di sekolah terutama dalam pengajaran Sastra Indonesia khususnya teks novel."
