"Tesis ini membahas tentang politik kebijakan privatisasi PT Indosat 2002-2003. Kebijakan privatisasi ini dilakukan pada masa pemerintahan Megawati Soekarno Putri, melalui Menteri BUMN Laksamana Sukardi. Proses privatisasi ini tidak berjalan dengan baik, karena privatisasi ini lebih diwarnai dengan nuansa politis ketimbang ekonomis. Nuansa politis tersebut dapat dilihat dari harga jual Indosat sebesar Rp 12.950 per lembar dianggap tidak layak untuk dijual. Mengingat Indosat adalah salah satu BUMN yang memiliki keuntungan bagi negara melalui satelit palapanya. Selain itu, proses privatisasi yang dilakukan disaat kondisi ekonomi Indonesia sedang dilanda krisis ekonomi dianggap sebagai sebuah kesalahan. Alasan penjualan Indosat untuk menutupi defisit APBN dianggap tidak tepat. Hadirnya IMF dalam pelaksanaan privatisasi di Indonesia juga turut menimbulkan kesan politis. Sehingga kebijakan privatisasi ini mendapatkan penolakan dari berbagai kalangan masyarakat Indonesia. Adapun kelompok yang menolak dilakukannya privatisasi Indosat yaitu Amien Rais (Ketua MPR RI dan Ketua PAN), Alvin Lee (Anggota DPR Komisi VI), Ichsanuddin Noorsy (Golkar), Didik J Rachbini (PAN), Rizal Ramli (Mantan Menteri Perekonomian), dan Marwan Batubara ( Ketua Sarikat Pekerja Indosat). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif. Sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan data sekunder dan data primer. Data sekunder berasal dari buku-buku, jurnal, majalah, koran, internet, sedangkan data sekunder berasal dari hasil wawancara. Dengan menggunakan teori pembuatan kebijakan ekonomi politik di Indonesia dari Bromley, dan Richard Robison. Sedangkan konsep privatisasi menggunakan teori Robert Nozick. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembuatan kebijakan ekonomi di Indonesia pasca Orba lebih bersifat plural. Selain aktor domestik yang berpengaruh dalam pembuatan kebijakan, ada juga aktor diluar negara yang memiliki peran penting, yakni IMF. Selain itu, kebijakan privatisasi ini menjadi lahan tarik menarik kepentingan antar aktor-aktor politik.

This thesis discusses about the political policy of privatization PT Indosat 2002-2003. This research use the method qualitative. While the technique of data collection use secondary data and primary data. Secondary data from books, journals, magazines, newspapers, internet, while secondary data derived from interviews. The results show that economic policy-making in post-New Order Indonesia more plural. "ABSTRAK:Skripsi ini menganalisis penerjemahan subtitle yang ditinjau baik dari aspek teknis, maupun aspek linguistik. Penelitian kualitatif ini terfokus pada hasil penerjemahan bukan pada proses pembuatan terjemahan. Hasil aspek teknis dan aspek linguistik terjemahan subtitle dalam wawancara ini menunjukkan bahwa beberapa hal tidak terpenuhi keoptimalannya baik dari aspek teknik maupun linguistiknya. Ketidakoptimalan dari aspek teknis terdapat pada masalah ruang yang terkait dengan baris, waktu yang terkait dengan durasi tampilan, dan terkahir ketidaksesuaian peletakkan subtitle. Ketidakoptimalan dari aspek linguistik terdapat pada masalah pemenggalan klausa dan kondensasi penerjemahan.ABSTRACT:This thesis intends to analyse the subtitle translation‟s optimum which is reviewed from both technical and linguistic aspects. This qualitative research focuses on the result of the translation, and not on the process of the translation‟s making. The result indicates that the translation of the subtitle in this interview shows that there are some parts which are not fully optimalized, from both technical and linguistic aspects. The suboptimum of technical aspect is shown from the space problem which is related to line, time with the duration of timing in and out, and lastly, the placing of the subtitle. In addition, the suboptimum of linguistic aspect can be seen from cutting of the clauses and condensation of the translation."
