"Skripsi ini meneliti pematuhan dan pelanggaran maksim kerja sama yang dilakukan setiap pasangan calon gubernur dan wakil gubernur Jakarta 2017-2022 dalam debat kedua. Tujuan Penelitian untuk memaparkan maksim apa saja yang dipenuhi serta dilanggar oleh masing-masing pasangan calon gubernur DKI Jakarta saat debat. Melalui analisis maksim tersebut, penulis akan menjelaskan gambaran kualitas percakapan tiap pasangan calon gubernur dan wakil gubernur. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa maksim yang paling banyak dipatuhi dalam debat adalah maksim relevansi. Sementara itu, maksim yang paling banyak dilanggar adalah maksim kuantitas. Banyaknya pematuhan terhadap maksim relevansi menggambarkan bahwa tiap pasangan calon secara keseluruhan mampu mengaitkan jawabannya terhadap topik pembicaraan dengan baik. Pelanggaran terhadap maksim kuantitas dipengaruhi oleh keinginan dari tiap pasangan calon untuk menyampaikan informasi seluas-luasnya agar dapat meyakinkan seluruh mitra tuturnya. Selain itu, tidak adanya pelanggaran maksim kualitas dipengaruhi oleh keinginan tiap pasangan calon untuk memberikan bukti yang konkret agar dapat menarik perhatian mitra tutur terhadap program kerja mereka.

This research examines the obedience and disobedience of cooperation maxim that conducted by every pair of governor and vice governor candidates of Jakarta 2017-2022 in the second debate. The purpose of the research is to describe what maxims are fulfilled and violated by each pair of candidates during debate. Through the analysis of the maxim, the author will explain quality of conversation from each pair of governor and vice governor candidates. The method used in this research is qualitative method. The conclusions in this study indicate that the maxim most fulfilled in the debate is the maxim of relevance. Meanwhile, the maxim of the most violated is the maxim of quantity. Many obediences from the maxim of relevance illustrates that each pair of candidates are able to link their answers to the topic of conversation well. Obedience of the maxim of quantity seem to be influenced by the desire of each candidate pairs to convey the widest possible information in order to convince all partners said. In addition, the absence of maxim of quantity seem to be influenced by the wishes of each candidate pair to provide concrete evidence in order to attract the attention of the partners said to their work program."
