"Target 8.6 SDGs memiliki tujuan yaitu secara substansial mengurangi proporsi usia muda yang NEET (Not in Employment, Education, or Training) pada tahun 2020.

Target 8.6 SDGs has a goal of substantially reducing the proportion of young people who are NEET (Not in Employment, Education, or Training) by 2020. However, the achievement of NEET globally and nationally are still relatively high, even rural NEET in Indonesia since 2016 has consistently been higher than youth NEET in urban. This study aims to determine the relationship between the achievement of the Geographical Difficulty Index/Indeks Kesulitan Geografis (IKG) in 2020 and the status of rural youth to become non-NEET, active NEET, or inactive NEET. The study was conducted on 94,605 individual samples spread over 14,394 villages throughout Indonesia based on the results of the August 2020 Sakernas and Updating Podes 2020 using the multilevel ordinal logistic regression model analysis method. In general, rural youth are dominated by family/unpaid workers. The results of the analysis show that an increase in the IKG achievement of a village by one unit significantly reduces the tendency of rural youth to become NEETs (including active NEETs and inactive NEETs) and the tendency to become inactive NEETs. In addition, it was also found that the increase in the IKG score significantly increased the opportunities for rural youth to work, but on the contrary decreased the tendency to go to school or training. These findings lead to indications of rural youth being forced to work as family/unpaid workers, and can also be seen in the fields of agriculture, fisheries, and plantations, as well as the informal sector which dominates youth workers in rural areas."

"Integration of immigrants and their descendants has been a socially sensitive and a politically pressing issue in Germany, particularly in recent decades. Being the largest immigrant group in the country, and for a number of other reasons, the spotlight has been on people of Turkish descent. From a sociological perspective, the process of identity formation is a critical step in the direction of integration. If immigrants of Turkish descent are to be integrated in the society, it is crucial to inquire how they conceive of themselves, and perceive how they are conceived by the so-called locals. Heeding Goethe, Ali Mehdi conduct in-depth interviews with seven young men of Turkish descent, born in Germany, and to analyze, utilizing the empathetic approach of the German hermeneutic tradition, the rich diversity of identity strategies that the interviewees employ."

"This article defines paid care work and explains why it has become an important arena for research and policy. Drawing on cross-national and country-level analyses of selected occupations, it highlights three findings: first, the employment situation of care workers often mirrors broader, country-specific labour market conditions and problems; second, the State's role as an employer of care workers is changing as governments increasingly outsource such work; and third, social policy regimes also shape opportunities for and conditions of care employment. It concludes that both care workers and care recipients are likely to benefit from improved employment conditions of care work."

Social media are media for social interaction, as a superset beyond social communication. Enabled by ubiquitously accessible and scalable communication techniques, social media substantially change the way of communication and political participation. At the same time, Jan H. Kietzmann, Kristopher Hermkens, Ian P. McCarthy, and Bruno S. Silvestre develop the honeycomb framework of social media which defines the social media service into seven building blocks : (1) identity, (2) conversation, (3) sharing, (4) presence, (5) relationship, (6) reputation, and (7) group. In addition, in terms of political participation among youth activists, new media including social media give low budget for (1) informing, socializing, or campaigning; (2) coordinating among participants; (3) recruiting and mobilizing participants, and (4) developing online community and membership of political participant virtually. By using qualitative approach especially indepth interview with intra and extra campus activists in Universitas Indonesia, this study focuses to find and confirm the honeycomb framework of social media and any kinds of activities as a part of low budget political participation. The result of this study will be analyzed and discussed."
