"Anak dengan penyakit kronik sering mengalami gangguan rasa nyaman akibat perjalanan penyakit, pemeriksaan diagnostik dan proses pengobatan, sehingga membutuhkan asuhan keperawatan yang tepat. Karya Ilmiah Akhir ini disusun dengan tujuan untuk menggambarkan aplikasi Theory of Unpleasant Symptoms (TOUS) pada anak dengan penyakit kronik yang mengalami gangguan rasa nyaman serta menganalisis keefektifannya. TOUS memiliki tiga komponen yaitu gejala, faktor yang mempengaruhi dan performance akhir klien. Ketiganya dapat saling mempengaruhi dan dapat diintegrasikan dalam asuhan keperawatan anak. TOUS dapat diaplikasikan pada asuhan keperawatan anak penyakit kronik dengan gangguan rasa nyaman karena melalui manajemen gejala berbasis TOUS, kebutuhan rasa nyaman anak akan terpenuhi meski gejala tak menyenangkan masih muncul. Aplikasi TOUS pada asuhan keperawatan anak hendaknya memperhatikan aspek tumbuh kembang dan aspek psikologis anak. Saat mengaplikasikan konsep TOUS, Ners spesialis telah dapat melakukan berbagai peran diantaranya sebagai praktisi, edukator, kolaborator, peneliti serta advokat bagi klien dan keluarga.
Chronically ill children often experience uncomfortable issue due to the disease pathophysiology, the diagnostic examination and medication process, so the child needs proper nursing care. This Scientific Final Assignment was arranged to describe the application of Theory of Unpleasant Symptoms (TOUS) to chronically ill children who have uncomfortable issues and also to analyze its effectiveness. TOUS has three main components which are symptoms, influencing factors and performance outcomes. Those three components influence each other and can be integrated in pediatric nursing process. TOUS can be applied in chronically ill children nursing process especially child with uncomfortable issue because through symptoms management based on TOUS, the comfort need of children can be fulfilled even the unpleasant symptoms still occur. The application of TOUS should pay attention to growth and development aspects of the children and also to the psychological aspect. When the specialist pediatric nurse applied TOUS concept, the nurse has done many role such as nurse practitioner, educator, collaborator, researcher and advocate for client and the family. "

"Bayi yang dirawat di unit perawatan intensif sangat mudah terpengaruh oleh lingkungan yang asing dan gangguan terhadap rutinitas harian normal mereka. Bahkan setelah tidak dirawatpun bayi-bayi ini akan menghadapi tantangan baru selama berbulan-bulan bahkan bertahun-tahun setelahnya. Baby liberation merupakan hasil adaptasi dari PICU liberation dan telah diidentifikasi sebagai strategi utama untuk mengurangi morbiditas dan meningkatkan hasil jangka panjang bagi para penyintas PICU. Teori Henderson bersifat fundamental memenuhi 14 kebutuhan dasar individu yang holistik dan komprehensif, teori ini sudah banyak dipakai di berbagai populasi individu namun belum pada ruang perawatan intensif anak. Tujuan penulisan karya ilmiah ini untuk memberikan gambaran aplikasi teori kebutuhan Henderson dalam asuhan keperawatan pada bayi sakit kritis sekaligus melihat efektivitas penerapan Baby Liberation Bundles Care untuk mendukung status fungsional bayi sakit kritis di ruang perawatan intensif anak. Terdapat lima kasus bayi yang mengalami masalah pada pemenuhan kebutuhan dasar dan diberikan asuhan keperawatan melalui pendekatan teori kebutuhan Henderson. Aplikasi teori kebutuhan Henderson cocok digunakan di PICU karena teori ini bersifat holistik dan komprehensif yang terdiri dari sembilan kebutuhan dasar fungsional tubuh dan lima kebutuhan dasar kenyamanan meliputi psikologis, sosial dan spiritual. Penerapan Baby Liberation Bundles Care efektif untuk mendukung status fungsional bayi sakit kritis dan diharapkan intervensi ini dapat diaplikasikan oleh perawat ruangan.
Babies treated in intensive care units are easily affected by unfamiliar environments and disruptions to their daily normal routines. Even after not being cared for, these babies will face new challenges for months or even years afterward. Baby liberation is an adaptation of PICU liberation and has been identified as a key strategy to reduce morbidity and improve long-term outcomes for PICU survivors. Henderson's theory is fundamental in fulfilling 14 basic individual needs in a holistic and comprehensive manner, this theory has been widely used in various individual populations but not in pediatric intensive care unit yet. The purpose of writing this scientific work is to provide an overview of the application of Henderson's theory of needs in the care of critically ill babies and see the effectiveness of implementing Baby Liberation Bundles Care to support the functional status of critically ill babies in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. There were five cases of babies who experienced problems in providing basic needs and were given nursing care using Henderson's needs theory approach. The application of Henderson's needs theory is suitable for use in the PICU because this theory is holistic and comprehensive, consisting of nine basic functional body needs and five basic comfort needs including psychological, social and spiritual. The implementation of Baby Liberation Bundles Care is effective in supporting the functional status of critical babies and it is hoped that this intervention can be implemented by nursing staff."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh terapi kelompok suportif terhadap kemampuan keluarga merawat anak tunagrahita di SLB-C Kabupaten Cianjur. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain quasi eksperimen dengan pendekatan pre post tes dengan grup kontrol. Responden penelitian adalah keluarga dengan anak tunagrahita, 60 keluarga anak tunagrahita, terdiri atas 30 keluarga kelompok intervensi dan 30 keluarga kelompok kontrol. Kemampuan keluarga merawat anak tunagrahita yang mendapatkan terapi kelompok suportif lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelompok yang tidak mendapat terapi kelompok suportif. Kemampuan keluarga setelah di kontrol dengan faktor confounding didapatkan peningkatan mean namun tidak signifikan. Artinya peningkatan kemampuan keluarga disebabkan karena intervensi yang dilakukan bukan dari faktor confounding. Disarankan terapi kelompok suportif digunakan sebagai terapi kelompok dalam meningkatkan kemampuan keluarga dalam merawat anak tunagrahita.
Thepurpode of their research use to identify the effects of group supportive therapy to wording the family ability to take the family in caring for children Tunagrahita in SLB-C Cianjur Regency. This research utilized quasi experimental design using pre and post test with control group.The respondents consist of family in caring for children tunagrahita,sixty families were divided inti 2 groups; 30 families as experimental group and 30 families as control group. The research result demonstrated that the the families who recewed supportive group therapy showed that higer ability as composed to families without supportive group therapy.The family ability after being controlled by counfounding factors showed the improvement of mean but not significant. This weart that the family ability was only effected by the intervention not by the counfounding factors. It was recommended the supportive group therapy would be utilited of group therapy in inproving family ability to case for the family with caring for children."
