"ABSTRAKMotif dan penyidikan adalah dua hal yang selalu ada dalam suatu tindak kejahatan, terutama tindak pembunuhan. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis bertujuan untuk melihat motif dan penyidikan tindak pembunuhan melalui sebuah novel yang berjudul Misteri Mayat yang Berpindah. Penulis melihat konflik-konflik yang melatarbelakangi pembunuhan yang terjadi sebagai suatu motif-motif pendorong dari tokoh pembunuh. Selain itu, relasi antartokoh yang terlibat dalam proses penyidikan, memicu penulis untuk melihat hambatan-hambatan yang terjadi selama penyidikan yang dilakukan tokoh detektif. Hasilnya, terdapat empat motif pendorong tindak pembunuhan, yaitu motif cinta, motif harga diri, motif ekonomi, dan motif psikologi. Sementara itu, terdapat lima faktor penghambat penyidikan, yaitu kesalahan identifikasi, kesaksian palsu, pemindahan mayat, ketidaktahuan, dan kelicikan tokoh pembunuh.

ABSTRACTMotive and investigation are two things that always exist in a crime, particulary murder. In this study, the author examined the motives and the investigation of murders in a novel titled Misteri Mayat yang Berpindah. The author examined on the conflicts which exist in the backdrop for the killings that took place as motives that influence the killer. The author also examined relationship among the characters involved in investigation process to uncover hindrance in the investigation process. The author conclude, that there exists four motives which motivate the act of murders, namely love motives, self- esteem motives, financial motives and psychological motives. The author also conclude, that there are five factors which hindered the investigation, namely miss identification, perjury, corpse displacement, ignorance, and guile of killer."

"ABSTRAK<>br>Dalam aktivitasnya manusia menciptakan titik referensi sebagai titik di mana mereka kembali setelah mereka mencapai tujuannya. Pemaknaan terhadap titik referensi ini akan menghadirkan persepsi home sebagai makna hunian karena titik referensi adalah tempat di mana manusia berhuni atau secara fisik, rumah. Berpindahnya manusia dalam skala yang lebih besar dapat mempengaruhi bagaimana ia mempersepsikan titik referensinya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pembentukan makna hunian pada manusia yang melakukan perpindahan negara dilihat dari bagaimana mereka mengadaptasikan ruang berhuninya, interpretasi privasi, identitas dan familiaritas terhadap ruang berhuninya dan persepsi mereka pada tanah air sebagai perluasan dari makna hunian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa makna hunian yang terbentuk adalah perkembangan dari gagasan mengenai makna hunian yang telah mereka miliki di negara asal. Mereka membawa gagasan ini ketika mereka pindah dan mengadaptasikannya dengan tempat mereka menetap saat ini. Pembentukan ini sangat dipengaruhi oleh ikatan sosial di mana dalam hal ini, kedua subyek telah melakukan pernikahan dengan warga negara Indonesia.

ABSTRACT<>br>During their activities mens created points of reference as points of return after they had reached their destinations. How mens perceived their points of reference would build their perception of home because point of reference is the place where mens dwell or phisically, house. The migration of mens in a wider scale could affect how they perceived their point of references. The purpose of this study is to understand the ideas of home for mens who migrated to different countries, perceived from how they adapted their dwelling space, how they interpreted privacy, identity and familiarity in their dwelling space and their perception to homeland as the extension of home. Case study shows that the ideas of home which was built in the new country is the development from the ideas of home that the subjects had back in their original countries. The subjects brought these ideas when they migrated and adapted it with the space they are currently living. The way the ideas of home built was highly affected by deep social bond that was created by the subjects who married Indonesian citizen."

"Serangkaian perubahan kini telah terjadi di Rawa Belong yang sejatinya merupakan wilayah berlabel Betawi, juga identik dengan profesi pedagang tanaman hias dan pekerja taman. Perubahan kondisi ekonomi dan datangnya pemodal besar di Rawa Belong memaksa masyarakatnya untuk meninggalkan profesi lama mereka demi memenuhi kebutuhan sehari-hari. Sementara itu, realitas ibu kota yang dibanjiri oleh pendatang menghadirkan permintaan besar akan kebutuhan tempat tinggal. Realitas ini kemudian memunculkan praktik bisnis baru bagi orang Betawi Rawa Belong, yaitu menjual lahan dan membangun kontrakan – yang mengubah Rawa Belong secara spasial. Praktik ini kemudian menyebabkan semakin sedikit orang Betawi yang mendiami Rawa Belong dan semakin banyak pendatang yang turut menghidupi Rawa Belong. Perubahan ini mengakibatkan pergeseran praktik dan nilai sehingga berujung kepada Rawa Belong yang kini dihidupi secara berbeda. Dengan menggunakan metode observasi partisipatoris, wawancara mendalam, dan analisis deskriptif, saya berusaha mengungkap bagaimana aktor, faktor, dan proses saling berartikulasi pada perubahan ruang di Rawa Belong juga konsekuensinya terhadap bagaimana Rawa Belong dikonstruksikan oleh para penduduk aslinya – orang Betawi Rawa Belong.

A series of changes have taken place in Rawa Belong, which is originally a Betawi-labeled area, and is also associated with the profession of ornamental plant traders and landscape workers. The changes in the economic conditions and the influx of large investors in Rawa Belong have forced its community to abandon their old professions in order to meet their daily needs. Meanwhile, the reality of the capital city being flooded by migrants has created a high demand for housing. This reality has led to the emergence of new business practices for the Betawi people of Rawa Belong, namely selling land and building rental properties, which have spatially transformed Rawa Belong. As a result, fewer Betawi people inhabit Rawa Belong, while more migrants contribute to its livelihood. These changes have caused a shift in practices and values, ultimately leading to a different way of life in Rawa Belong. By using participatory observation methods, in-depth interviews, and descriptive analysis, I aim to uncover how actors, factors, and processes interact in the spatial changes in Rawa Belong, as well as the consequences for how Rawa Belong is constructed by its original inhabitants—the Betawi people of Rawa Belong."
