"Pelatihan merupakan unsur penting untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pegawai dalam melaksanakan tugas-tugasnya. Untuk mencapai pelatihan yang tepat guna, perlu dilakukan evaluasi guna melihat apakah pelatihan yang diberikan sudah mencapai sasaran. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi hasil pelatihan perilaku caring yang dilaksanakan RSUD Pasar Rebo tahun 2011 terhadap perawat di unit rawat inap. Penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif. Kuesioner evaluasi diberikan pada 12 responden perawat unit rawat inap yang ikut pelatihan perilaku caring dan 83 responden pasien di ruang perawatan untuk mengetahui penerapan perilaku caring perawat di tempat kerjanya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapat bahwa sebagian peserta pelatihan dari unit rawat inap memberikan penilaian baik untuk evaluasi reaksi kecuali pada aspek fasilitas. Pengetahuan peserta meningkat pada evaluasi belajar. Namun pada evaluasi perilaku, sebagian peserta menunjukkan hasil kurang caring, begitu pula persepsi dari pasien.

Training is an essential element to improve the competence of employees in performing their works. In order to achieve appropriate training, it should be evaluated to see whether the training has reached the target. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate the outcome of caring behaviour training that conducted by Pasar Rebo general hospital in 2011 against inpatient units nurses.

It's quantitative research. Evaluation questionnaires given to 12 respondents of inpatient unit nurses who take the training and 83 respondents of inpatient unit patients to know the implementation of nurses caring behaviour in the workplace.

Based on researches, result show that some trainees give a good assessment for the evaluation of the reaction except in facitiies aspect. Participants's knowledge was increased on the learning evaluation. But in the behavioural evaluation, half of perticipants showed less caring as well as perception of patients."
