"ABSTRAKDongeng merupakan prosa pendek imajinatif dan fiktif yang disampaikan secara turun-temurun. Dongeng seringkali beredar dalam versi yang berbeda-beda di berbagai negara, tetapi semua variasi tersebut memiliki struktur tema dan tindakan aksi yang sama. Penelitian ini membahas mengenai fungsi tindakan dalam dongeng Br derchen und Schwesterchen dan H nsel und Gretel dengan menggunakan teori fungsi yang dikemukakan oleh Vladimir Propp. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif yang bertujuan agar memahami suatu permasalahan secara mendalam dan luas dengan analisis. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kedua dongeng tersebut memiliki fungsi yang berbeda dan fungsi tersebut tidak muncul secara berurutan, seperti yang dikemukakan oleh Propp. Dalam dongeng Br derchen und Schwesterchen ada 10 fungsi, yaitu fungsi ketiadaan ? , larangan ? , pelanggaran ? , penyampaian ? , penipuan ? , kejahatan A , penerimaan unsur magis F , tokoh utama dikenali Q , penyingkapan tabir Ex , dan hukuman U , sedangkan di dalam dongeng H nsel und Gretel terdapat 11 fungsi, yaitu fungsi pengintaian ? , penipuan ? , keterlibatan ? , kejahatan A , kekurangan a , peristiwa penghubung B , fungsi pertama tokoh penolong D , reaksi tokoh pahlawan E , perpindahan tempat G , kepulangan darr; , dan penyelamatan Rs .

ABSTRACTTales are imaginative short prose which are fictional. They are something inheritance that is being continued since the old times. Tales often come up with different kinds but the themes and actions are still similar from one to another. This research discuss about the functions of dramatis personae in Br derchen und Schwesterchen and H nsel und Gretel based on functions of dramatis personae theory by Vladimir Propp. Qualitative method is being used in this research, in order to deeply and wholly understand a problem. The result shown that the two fairy tales have different functions and these functions do not appear chronologically as being told by Propp. In Br derchen und Schwesterchen there are 10 functions, such as the function of Absentation , Interdiction , Violation , Delivery , Trickery , Villany A , Provision or receipt of a magical agent F , Recognition Q , Exposure Ex , and Punishment U , meanwhile in H nsel und Gretel there are 11 functions, such as the function of Reconnaissance , Trickery , Complicity , Villany A , Lack a , Mediation B , The first function of donor D , The hero rsquo s reaction E , Spatial transference between two kingdoms, guidance G , Return darr , and Rescue Rs ."

"Proses adaptasi teks dongeng menjadi film semakin banyak dilakukan oleh produser film Hollywood. Salah satunya ialah film Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters (2013) produksi Paramount Pictures yang diadaptasi dari dongeng Grimm bersaudara. Penelitian ini membahas imaji Hollywood yang direpresentasikan dalam film Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters (2013). Dengan metode kualitatif berupa deskriptif analisis, penelitian ini berfokus pada bagaimana imaji Hollywood dikemas dalam film. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa adanya imaji-imaji baru yang berbeda dengan versi aslinya disebabkan karena adanya pengembangan cerita serta perubahan motif yang dilakukan oleh tim produksi. Imaji Hollywood dalam film ini digambarkan melalui penokohan, alur dan cerita, dialog antar tokoh serta ekspresi yang dikemas berbeda dari versi dongeng Grimm. Hal ini berkaitan dengan tujuan Hollywood sebagai industri global yang ingin menciptakan suatu hiburan massa yang menjangkau pasar internasional.

The adaptation of fairy-tale texts into films is increasingly being carried out by Hollywood film producers. The film Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters (2013) is produced by Paramount Pictures which was adapted from the fairy tale of the Brothers Grimm Hansel und Gretel. This study discusses Hollywood images represented in the film Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters (2013). With qualitative methods in the form of descriptive analysis, this study focuses on how Hollywood images are packaged in films. The results of the study show new images that are different from the original version. The result is due to the development of stories and changes in motives carried out by the production team. Hollywood images in this film are portrayed through characterizations, lines and stories, dialogues between characters and expressions that are packaged differently from the fairytale version of Grimm. The result also show how Hollywood as a global industry create a mass entertainment that reaches international markets."
